Sponge waffles in an electric waffle iron (Redmond multi-baker)

So the heat has arrived in Rostov-on-Don.
I don’t really want to turn on the oven, but I really want a delicious dessert! A simply solvable situation if you have an electronic waffle iron. Now I’ll bake sponge waffles, the most tender, light, unusually airy and indescribably delicious. All recipes for dishes prepared in the Redmond Multibaker are at the link given to us.

Compound:

  • Eggs - 1 piece
  • Sugar - 80-100 g
  • Vanillin – 1 g (1 sachet)
  • Butter – 25 g
  • Hot water - 3 tablespoons
  • Flour - 100 gr
  • Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - from a small slice of lemon

How to prepare fluffy, very tender sponge waffles according to the usual recipe in a waffle iron Multibaker Redmond

As always, I prepare the minimum dose. For a family of 3-4 people, feel free to double the number of goods. Melt the butter and cool. For biscuit dough, separate the yolk from the white.

Beat the yolk with hot water.

Add half the sugar and beat into a fluffy light mass, adding a few drops of lemon juice at the end.

Beat with sugar and lemon juice until fluffy.

Beat the whites into a thick foam.

Beat the egg whites separately

Add the remaining sugar and beat until stiff.

Combine the white with the yolk.

Add flour sifted with baking powder and vanilla.

Mix like any kind of biscuit dough, carefully, using movements from bottom to top.

Turn on the multi-baker. The waffle iron is a simple device, no keys, just plug it in and look at the display. When, in addition to the reddish one, the greenish indicator lights up, you can use it. The panels have a non-stick coating, no need to lubricate them with anything. Place a full tablespoon of batter onto each wafer panel.

The photo shows that although the dough is airy, with a small amount of flour, it holds its shape perfectly, thanks to the well-beaten egg white. Close Multibaker. For some reason, biscuit waffles are baked faster than all the others, for me - in 5 and a half minutes.

Wafer panels are square. To make the waffles even and square, you need to lay out two spoons of dough, but these picturesque “torn” edges seem very appetizing to me.

From this quantity of goods you will get 6 pieces of golden, fragrant, airy sponge wafers. The photo shows how porous they are in the fault. Biscuit waffles are unusual in that they remain delicious the next day. They dry out a little and become even fluffier, even a little like biscuit cookies.

I offer a recipe for a waffle iron that bakes thick waffles. Biscuit waffles turn out soft and tender. At your discretion, you can serve waffles in portions with jam, preserves, fresh berries, whipped cream and ice cream. You can also use waffles as cake layers for making a dessert cake.

Divide the eggs into yolks and whites.

Beat the yolks with hot water until foamy, then add 100 g evenly. Sahara. Beat until creamy, adding lemon juice.

In a large bowl, beat the egg whites with 50 g. sugar to peaks.

Melt the butter and leave to cool.

Add the whipped yolk mixture to the whites, mixing gently.

Carefully add flour to the egg mixture, mix everything carefully and add melted butter. Let's mix everything.

We bake waffles in a preheated waffle iron.

Place the finished waffles on a plate and serve with whatever you like best. You can layer the wafer shortcakes with cream and decorate with berries and the cake is ready!

My comments on the recipe: the waffles are very tasty, but too sweet, it will be enough to take 100 grams of sugar, divide it in half - beat half with the yolks, half with the whites.

I took 35 grams of butter and 15 of vegetable oil.

It’s very tasty with curd cheese , but the watery berry syrup is absorbed right away, something thicker is needed.

There were 10 pieces of fairly large plump waffles.

Recipe for making a dish at home

  1. Separate the whites from the yolks and place in the refrigerator. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan, and sift the flour through a sieve along with baking powder into a separate bowl and stir.
  2. Beat the yolks with a mixer, add boiling water a spoonful at a time and beat for another 3-4 minutes at high speed until a fluffy creamy mass forms. Without ceasing to beat the yolks, add 2/3 of the total sugar and vanilla sugar in a narrow stream and beat for a couple more minutes until fluffy.
  3. Remove the whites from the refrigerator, add lemon juice and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form (the mixer attachments must be clean). While whipping the protein foam, add the remaining sugar and beat until it is completely dissolved.
  4. Combine the yolk cream with the white cream and stir a couple of times with a spatula. Add the flour mixture evenly to the beaten eggs and knead into a homogeneous dough.
  5. Heat the waffle iron over high heat (if you are using an electronic waffle iron, use the instructions for making homemade waffles), put a couple of spoons of biscuit dough there and close the lid tightly.
  6. Cook biscuit waffles until golden brown on both sides . Open the lid, transfer the waffles to a plate and place the next portion of batter on the bottom of the waffle iron, bake until done.
  7. Serve sponge waffles warm, especially delicious with jam, yogurt or condensed milk. Bon appetit!

7g salt .

2 eggs .
1 pack of vanilla sugar . 175 ml milk

Mix all the ingredients except sugar, knead the dough and leave for 30 minutes. Then
add granulated sugar to the dough, let stand for another 15 minutes and bake in a preheated
waffle iron.

BELGIAN WAFFLES

Ingredients (approximately 15 waffles):

750g flour .
300g coffee sugar .
250g butter .
6 eggs .
20g new yeast .
2 pinches of salt .
1 tbsp. sugar _ little milk or light beer.

Dissolve the yeast in warm milk or beer with a tablespoon of sugar, stir
and leave for 10 minutes. In a bowl, mix flour with salt. In another bowl, beat the yolks with
sugar, beat the whites separately. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Add yeast to flour, mix, add yolks, mix, add butter, and
mix again. Add whites and mix gently, create small balls
of dough and leave for 30 minutes.
Bake in a waffle iron, serve warm or cool with or without a side dish (preferably hot, without a side dish). You can add cinnamon, vanilla,

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons of hot water .
150gr. sugar _
1 packet of vanilla sugar .
0.5 tsp lemon juice .
200gr. wheat flour .
6g. baking powder
50gr. oils _ sweet powder for dusting

Beat the yolks and water until foamy. Continuing to beat, adding 2/3 of the sugar with
vanilla sugar.
Add lemon juice and stir again. Separately beat the whites into a thick foam, then add the rest of the sugar,
continuing to beat.
Combine the purchased ingredients, add flour mixed with baking powder. Stir carefully.
