Chicken puffs - all the tastiest things are for you now. Good baked goods with chicken meat, which can be prepared as a treat for hot tea or as an appetizer for a festive table. The production time can be significantly reduced if you purchase the dough, and other ingredients are prepared quickly.

In the first version, the puff pastries look like small pies. They are very convenient to take with you to work as a snack, or you can cook them for a picnic.

Recipe for chicken and cheese puffs

What is necessary:

  • half a kilo of puff pastry;
  • 300 g boiled chicken fillet;
  • one testicle;
  • 200 g hard cheese.

Manufacturing:

Thaw the dough before baking; there should be {instructions} on the package on how to create it correctly. Cut the finished chilled fillet into small cubes and the cheese into slices. Separate the white from the yolk with a special separator; the white will not be needed, but mix the yolk.

Roll out the dough into a narrow layer and cut into uniform pieces - small squares/rectangles. On either one, place a little chicken and cheese and pinch all the edges. Place the puff pastries on a baking sheet, brush with yolk and bake in the oven at a temperature of 180-200 degrees until browned.

Or you can put this filling: finely chop one onion, cut 200 g of raw chicken fillet and 300 g of fresh potatoes into cubes.
Combine the ingredients, add salt and pepper to taste. Prepare half a kilo of puff pastry in the same way as in the recipe above. Form puff pastries and bake for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees. Baking according to the following version turns out very tasty and juicy.

What is necessary:

  • half a kilo of puff pastry;
  • 150-170 g boiled chicken fillet;
  • 170-180 g feta cheese;
  • one or two ripe medium tomatoes;
  • 1-2 tbsp. spoons of sesame seeds;
  • raw, lightly beaten yolk;
  • 1-2 tbsp. spoons of butter.

You will also need molds for muffins or small cupcakes.

Manufacturing:

Puff pastries are prepared according to this recipe just as quickly as the previous ones. Cut the chicken fillet, tomatoes and cheese into small cubes, you can even just crumble the cheese.

Roll out the defrosted dough and cut out circles using a glass or wide-necked mug.

Grease the molds with oil and place the dough in each so that it takes the appropriate shape. Fill the baskets with chicken and cheese. Sprinkle with tomato cubes and sesame seeds, brush the edges with yolk.

Place the chicken puffs in a hot oven and bake at 180 degrees until the dough is ready.

There is also another fascinating interior, only the puffs are formed, as in the first recipe, in other words, into pies. Cut two small chicken fillets into cubes, sprinkle with your favorite seasoning that mixes with the bird, and fry in oil until cooked. Separately, first fry the onion until soft, add 200 g of mushrooms, for example, champignons or honey mushrooms, cut into slices or pieces. Cook until the mushroom juice evaporates. Don't forget about ground pepper and salt, add them to taste. When the mushrooms are ready, mix them with the chicken and let cool - the inside is ready. You will need about 500 grams of dough.

This is how easy it is to make chicken puff pastries and believe me, any recipe is worth making. By the way, pineapple puffs turn out to be very fragrant, beautiful and tasty.

Ready puff pastry – 1 kg

Chicken fillet – 2 pcs. (large)

Pepper - to taste

Mayonnaise – 190 ml

Onions – 1 pc.

Sunflower oil - for greasing the baking sheet

I bake from ready-made puff pastry quite often. This is very convenient - your favorite sweets for tea can be prepared quickly and without much labor. Well, chicken puff pastries can be consumed not only as a savory dessert, but also as an addition to lunch - to soup or broth.

I, like almost all ladies, feel gratitude to the one who invented puff pastry (French chef Claudius Gele), as well as to the one who put its creation on stream, which gave us the opportunity not to engage in labor-intensive action, but simply take ready-made puff pastry . Naturally, I know how to create such dough without the help of others; you can see how I managed this here. But I only dare to undertake such culinary feats when I have extra time, and approximately once every two weeks I prepare something from ready-made puff pastry. Now these are puff pastries with chicken fillet.

Ready puff pastry is sold frozen. Let's take it out of the freezer and immediately unroll the layers. This can be created using a knife, inserting it between the layers and separating the dough. In this form we will leave it to defrost. This will take about 25 minutes.

During this period of time, boil the chicken fillet in salted water and cut it into cubes. Finely chop the dill and onion. If you have green onions, you can use them instead of onions.

Combine the chicken fillet with herbs and onions, pepper, and add salt if necessary. Let's add mayonnaise.

Mix the meat filling for the puff pastries.

We cut the thawed layers of puff pastry into rectangles: one rectangle should be slightly smaller than the other.

On the smallest layer we make cuts in a checkerboard pattern.

We stretch the smallest layer slightly so that the holes come out, and put the chicken filling on the larger one.

Place the smallest rectangle on top of the larger one and pinch the edges.

We perform this function with the entire dough and with the entire interior. From 500 g of dough you get 7 puffs (if you make the smallest size, then more).

Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and fry the chicken puff pastry until cooked. My puff pastries came out slightly coffee colored. If you want to get golden brown pastries, you can brush the puff pastries with egg.
