Beer pancakes (without milk)

Pancakes made with beer without adding milk come out thin, rosy and very tasty. The unique bready and slightly intoxicating smell of these pancakes will not leave anyone indifferent.

Ingredients

  • 350 ml light beer
  • 150 g flour
  • 2 testicles
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1-2 tsp. Sahara
  • half a tsp salt

Recipe for making a dish at home

  1. Beat the eggs into a saucepan or bowl, add salt and sugar and whisk everything until smooth. Pour in about 100 ml of beer and shake again.
  2. Mix flour into the acquired egg mixture, sifting it through a sieve. Mix with a whisk into a homogeneous and thick dough without lumps.
  3. While stirring the thick dough with a whisk, pour in the remaining beer in a narrow stream. Leave the pancake dough in the beer to sit for at least half an hour (without a lid) at room temperature. If you have time, it’s better to quit for an hour.
  4. After the designated time, heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and pour it into the dough in a narrow stream, stirring it quickly with a whisk. Pour a little pancake batter into the pan with the remaining oil and spread it moderately in a narrow layer over the entire bottom.
  5. Fry the pancake until golden brown on both sides and transfer to a plate; if desired, you can grease it with butter and/or sprinkle it with sugar. In this way, fry the pancakes from the remaining dough in beer (no need to grease the frying pan anymore).
  6. After each pancake, cover the stack with a bowl so that the pancakes cool more slowly and do not dry out on the edges. You can serve pancakes with any entrails or simply top them with honey/condensed milk/jam. Enjoy your tea!

I think almost all housewives have heard about making cookies with beer, and some even cook them quite often. Beer makes very tasty baked goods. Now we are making pancakes from beer. Anyone who has not yet done similar experiments should definitely fill this gap in their own culinary practice. Pancakes are prepared only with beer; in other words, no other watery base is used - water or milk. The products fry without any problems, do not stick to the surface of the pan, and turn out thin and soft. Even with milk I can’t make such tender pancakes. As for the beer aroma, as for me, it is there, but only when the pancakes are hot - cooled pancakes do not smell of beer at all.

So, let’s prepare the ingredients for making pancakes with beer without milk.

Break the egg into a deep container, add the amount of sugar and a small portion of salt to it.

Whisk the ingredients thoroughly with a hand whisk until foam appears on the surface. Grains of sugar and salt should dissolve as much as possible in the egg base.

Remove the beer from the refrigerator in advance so that it warms up to room temperature. To make it quicker, you can pour the beer into a glass and heat it in the microwave yourself. But the main condition here is not to overheat; the beer must be warm, not hot.

Next, stir the fluffy foamy mixture well.

Sift the flour through a special sieve in advance, then add it in small portions to the container with the contents, stirring continuously with a spoon.

To get a homogeneous dough without the smallest lumps, walk through it with an immersion blender or electric whisk.

Finally, pour the required amount of vegetable oil into the pancake dough. Stirring for a long time, completely distribute the oil according to consistency.

There is no need to infuse pancake dough with a beer base; you can immediately start frying pancakes. Heat the frying pan thoroughly, grease it with oil, then pour a small portion of dough onto the surface with a ladle. Using sloping movements of the frying pan, form a blank for the upcoming pancake. Fry pancakes over medium heat. In almost half a minute, one side of the product will be covered with bubbles, then the pancake can be turned over to the other side.

In this way, use up all the dough by frying each pancake separately until golden brown on both sides.
