Apple pie in a slow cooker that melts in your mouth - four recipes to choose from

Apple pie in a slow cooker that melts in your mouth - four recipes to choose from

Hi all! Now I have prepared an apple pie - the recipe in a slow cooker is so good that everyone, without exception, will like it. It is ordinary and has excellent taste. The baked goods always come out beautiful, light and filling.

Apple pie is one of my favorites. Its smell cannot be confused with anything else. It’s not difficult to prepare when you have a multicooker at hand. It does not require a complex set of ingredients. Whatever you have in the kitchen is enough.

The preliminary part takes about 15 minutes. This pie can be called a lifesaver for any housewife (both experienced and beginner) or an “on duty” dessert.

In addition, it is very useful. After all, there are so many apples in it! There is a separate article on their healing power on 100Polezno. Here I will only say that they are full of pectin.

The substance cleanses the intestinal tract and heals the digestive system. As a result, metabolism improves, cholesterol levels decrease (Insoluble in water, soluble in fats and organic solvents.) , the skin becomes clear, cheerfulness and a good mood arise.

General remarks

It is better to take fruits that are firm (but not very hard), with sourness. Antonovka does not grow in Kuban, so I use what is available. Simirenko, Jonathan, Starkrimson, Idared, Gala - they all feel great in the pie.

The only variety that is absolutely not suitable is Snow White filling. When heated, it instantly falls apart, turning into mush.

To cleanse or not is an open question. I remove the skin all the time. I don't like it when I come across poorly chewable inclusions. If you want to speed up the cooking process, leave the skin on.

Be sure to remove the seeds and core. We closely monitor the absence of pests. Mainly, this applies to fruits grown in a summer cottage “without chemicals.”

Manufacturing time and temperature conditions in the units vary. My Philips bakes in 45 minutes and my Polaris takes an hour. Focus on your model and do not open the lid ahead of time (otherwise it will not close).

Before adding the dough, grease the bowl with cool fat. This will make it easier to remove the finished pie. Do not sprinkle the bottom with semolina! This will make the crust hard.

Never take the cake out while it's hot. It may fall apart. After the “beeps”, leave it on the “Heating” mode. After 15 minutes, turn it off and open it. Let it cool down well before you start twisting.

I first lay it out on a wood board. Then I turn it over, replacing it with a plate. I don’t like it when multi-cooker pies are served upside down.

To create a perfect top and mask the corresponding pallor, sprinkle the raw cake with sesame seeds, coconut flakes or crushed almonds.

And last but not least: don’t limit yourself to the given recipe. Apples mix well with berries. Feel free to mix them with raspberries, cranberries or currants. In winter, add pears, bananas, and dried fruits. They are also “friends” with nuts: walnuts, cashews, peanuts.

Apple pie in a slow cooker - recipes (the best)

There are a lot of manufacturing options. Every housewife has her favorite tricks and secrets. I will gladly share mine with you, because I “ate dog” on the pies 😉

Traditional apple pie recipe

This is the first recipe with which girls usually start their kitchen “career”. The ingredients are usual: a glass of flour, a glass of sugar, three eggs plus 5 apples. No soda, no vinegar...

  1. In a deep bowl, mash the yolks with sugar.
  2. Beat the chilled whites with a whisk into a stable foam.
  3. Gently mix with flour and yolks.
  4. Wash and peel the apples.
  5. Cut in half, remove the dense center.
  6. Cut into slices 2-3 mm wide.
  7. Transfer to a bowl, stir.
  8. Place in the multicooker bowl.
  9. Level the top and decorate it.
  10. Start the “Baking” mode.
  11. Wait for the program to finish.

It is not necessary to beat the whites. But thanks to this technique, the dough is made more airy.

For my taste, this loaf is very sweet. I also don't like the smell of eggs. I have already written about this in articles about Armenian gata, cheesecakes and zucchini pancakes. Usually I replace them with kefir or sour cream. The result is 100% satisfactory.

Apple pie with sour cream - improved recipe

This is a luxurious way to get rid of leftover milk in the refrigerator. Any fermented milk product will do. Not even the first freshness - the taste will only benefit from this.

Another plus: this pie remains soft longer, because fat is added to it.

  • 3/4 cup of sour cream of any fat content (kefir, fermented baked milk, curdled milk, yogurt);
  • 125 g butter;
  • three spoons of sweet sand without top;
  • 0.5 tsp. salt;
  • 1 tsp. baking soda;
  • 20 ml vinegar;
  • 4 large apples, thinly sliced.
  1. Melt the butter.
  2. Combine with the rest of the ingredients and stir thoroughly. You should have a dough like pancakes.
  3. Drop the fruit.
  4. Place in a multi-bowl.
  5. Launch the program.
  6. Wait for the beeps.

There is no need to check readiness with a match or toothpick. This is a big plus of multicookers.

Sprinkle the finished pie with coconut flakes. Serve with tea or coffee. You can even take it to work as a snack.

Melt-in-your-mouth apple pie recipe with oatmeal and raisins

This pie is my invention. He's quite successful. I have never seen any analogues.

  • Flour – 1 multi-cup.
  • Oatmeal - the same amount.
  • Honey – 2 tablespoons.
  • Sour cream – 50-70 ml.
  • Butter – 1/3 pack.
  • Sweet powder – 2 tbsp.
  • Salt – 3 g.
  • Apples – 4 pcs.
  • Raisins – 0.5 cups.
  • Zest of 1 lemon.
  • A handful of ground nuts.
  1. Carefully sort through the oatmeal.
  2. Combine with wheat, melted honey and other ingredients.
  3. Add apple slices, zest and dried fruits.
  4. Stir.
  5. Place in bowl.
  6. Top with nuts.
  7. Bake until done.

Apple pie with honey and oatmeal turns out fluffy and very appetizing. If you cool it, cut it, and soak it in cream, you get a real cake. There is no shame in putting it on the ceremonial table.

Curd pie with apples in a slow cooker

In this version you cannot do without eggs, but they are not felt here.

For baking prepare:

  • 2 packs of cottage cheese,
  • 3 yolks,
  • 0.3 kg apples,
  • 100 g margarine,
  • ½ tbsp. wheat flour (half can be replaced with corn flour),
  • 4 tablespoons of sweet sand.

I try to eat less sweets, so I bring a modest amount of sweet sand. You can double it if you want it sweeter.

Don't try to substitute butter for margarine. This will cause the sides of the pie to burn.

  1. Combine cottage cheese, egg mass, sugar, salt in a bowl.
  2. Stir with a fork until the mixture is homogeneous.
  3. Grind the fruits and add to the curd mass.
  4. Grate the margarine using your hands until you get butter and flour crumbs.
  5. Pour half of it onto the bottom, distribute some along the edges of the dish so that the cottage cheese does not come into contact with the coating.
  6. Distribute the curd and apple filling.
  7. Cover with the remaining crumbs.
  8. Bake.

Apple pie in a slow cooker - the main principles of production

Nowadays, you don’t have to wait for dawn to make apple pie. Apples are sold all year round. In addition, you can choose any variety to suit your taste, from sweet to sour.

With the advent of the multicooker, the process of making a pie has become even easier. There is no longer any need to watch so that it doesn’t burn. Simply knead the dough, place it in the multicooker container, place the apples cut into slices on top and sprinkle everything with sugar.

There can be any kind of dough for the pie: kefir, biscuit, puff pastry, curd, etc.

It is better to use apples that are sour or sweet and sour. Varieties such as “not allowed” harmonize better with sweet dough and impart a special sour taste to baked goods.

Bake a pie with apples in the “Baking” mode. The cooking time depends on the power of your multicooker and the dough from which you will prepare the pie. If you want the top to brown, you can turn the pie over or put it in the oven for a couple of minutes.

In addition to apples, you can add other fruits to the pie, and cinnamon will make the pie even more aromatic.
