Almost everyone understands that seafood is a necessary part of every person’s diet. But much to our chagrin, the gifts of the world’s oceans are expensive, which is why almost all housewives quite often use their substitutes. In recent years, crab salad has become very popular and beloved, just like Greek salad. For almost everyone it is common and quite often appears on the ceremonial table.

Now we will look at several common recipes for making crab salad in the traditional version.

Traditional crab salad with cucumber

Ingredients:

  • Crab sticks – 600 g
  • Canned corn - 2 cans
  • Chicken eggs - 6 pieces
  • Rice - 100 g
  • Cucumbers - 2 pieces
  • Onion - 1 head
  • Mayonnaise - 200 g
  • Salt - to taste
  • Greens - to taste.

Manufacturing method:

1. First, boil the rice. Take a huge saucepan, pour one liter of water into it, bring to a boil and add salt. Then rinse the rice a couple of times under running water. When the water boils, pour the rice into it, cook, stirring occasionally, approximately 20 minutes. Watch closely so that it does not boil over. After that, put it in a sieve or colander and rinse with warm water. Then let it cool well at room temperature.

2. Pour cool water into a saucepan, put eggs in it and place on the stove. Once the water boils, boil the eggs for 10 minutes over medium heat. Then we remove them from the stove, pour them over with cool tap water, this is necessary so that the shells can be easily cleaned from them.

3. Remove the crab sticks from the refrigerator, defrost, remove from the package, and remove the personal cellophane wrapper. Cut into small cubes (if you like it large, cut to your liking).

4. Peel the eggs and cut them into small cubes.

5. Grind the cucumbers in the same way as the previous ingredients.

6. Take half an onion and chop it very finely. If you are not a fan of onions, then you don’t have to add them, but they add juiciness to the salad and mix well with all the ingredients to taste.

7. Open the jar of corn and place the contents on a sieve to drain all the liquid.

8. In a deep bowl (basin) combine crab sticks, corn, rice, eggs and onions. Season with salt, pepper and mayonnaise to taste. Place it in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes before serving. Bon appetit!

  • Crab sticks – 400 G
  • Eggs – 5 pieces
  • Rice - 0.5 cups
  • Corn – 380 G (1 jar)

1. First we need to boil the eggs. We put them in a saucepan and fill them with cool water, put them on the stove, and turn on high heat. Once they boil, reduce the heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes. Once our eggs are ready, fill them with cool water, easily peel them and start cutting. For this dish, you should chop them finely and crumble the yolks with your hands.

2. If necessary, defrost crab sticks and chop finely.

3. Thoroughly wash the rice and boil it.

4. Grate the cheese on a large grater.

There are situations when guests are already approaching and you need to set the table within a short time, and you just have the ingredients for this dish. And in almost 10 minutes you can create a very tasty and satisfying salad that we can feed our own beloved guests.

Ingredients:

  • Crab sticks - 250 gr.
  • Chicken eggs - 3-4 pcs.
  • Canned corn - 1/2 can
  • Fresh cucumber - 1 - 2 pcs.
  • Green onions - 2-3 stalks
  • Fresh dill - bunch
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Mayonnaise - 4 tbsp. l.

Manufacturing method:

1. Take crab sticks out of the refrigerator, remove the protective film and cut into small cubes.

2. Next we will need a few sprigs of green onions, chop them, but just don’t overdo it, because this will lead to the fact that the dish will turn out bitter.

3. The freshest dill will give the dish a special smell. Wash and chop as desired, add the greens to the sticks.

3. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes, peel, cut into cubes and also add to the rest of the ingredients.

4. Open a can of non-sweet canned corn and put it in the salad.
