You can add a little water to the bowl, maybe half a glass, and turn on the “Baking” mode for 40 minutes instead of the hour-long “Stew” mode, but in this case the vegetables will boil more intensely.

Preparation:
Cut the onion into cubes or half rings, peel the potatoes and cut into large slices. Mix potatoes with salt and pepper. Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of the bowl, spread the onions in an even layer, place the potatoes on top of it and fill with a mixture of water and tomato paste. Turn off the “Baking” mode for 40-50 minutes. Instead of tomato paste and water, you can use high-quality tomato juice. Taste it - if it is salty, reduce the amount of salt in the dish.
Potatoes are not bad on their own, but it is never superfluous to add something more substantial to them.

Ingredients:
6-7 potato tubers,
500-700 g chicken meat (wings, drumsticks, thighs),
2 onions,
1 large carrot,
1 bay leaf,
1 clove of garlic (to taste),

Preparation:
Cut the potatoes into large slices, the onion into half rings, grate the carrots on a large grater or cut into narrow strips. Heat vegetable oil in a bowl, add chicken pieces and fry in the “Baking” mode until golden brown. Add carrots and simmer briefly, stirring. Place potatoes and onions in a bowl, salt and pepper to taste, you can add garlic. Pour in hot water so that it covers the potatoes by about 1 cm. Stir the tomato paste in a small amount of water and also add to the bowl. Place the bay leaf and close the lid. Set the “Extinguishing” mode for 1 hour.
If you don't like the sour taste, don't add tomato paste.

Ingredients:
1.5 kg of potatoes,
700-800 g of pork pulp,

Making a dish step by step:
To make this ordinary, tasty and satisfying second course, we will need the following ingredients: pork, potatoes, carrots, onions, tomato sauce, dill, bay leaf, water, refined vegetable oil and salt. In addition, you can use dark or aromatic peppers, meat seasoning, garlic, herbs or any other fragrant additives of your choice.
So, first, pour 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (I use sunflower) without aroma into the multicooker bowl. We turn on the device to the Frying mode, although I prefer to use the Baking program for frying goods. We wait until the oil warms up well. For this recipe, I took boneless pork and cut it into fairly large pieces. Dry it with napkins.
Place pieces of meat in hot oil in one layer and fry without a lid on each side until golden brown. Thanks to this method, the meat juices are sealed in the pork and the finished product is very juicy. I won’t tell you the frying time - use the color of the meat as a guide.
Meanwhile, peel and cut a large onion into small cubes.
We also peel large carrots and cut them into random small pieces. If you like, you can chop it completely on a large grater.
When the meat is fried, add chopped vegetables to it. Mix everything, close the multicooker lid and cook in the same mode (Frying or Baking) for about 15 minutes, so that the vegetables soften. Don't forget to mix everything once.
We clean and wash the potato tubers. Cut them into large pieces.
The meat and vegetables are already half cooked, they have released a lot of juice.
Add potato slices to them and pour boiling water over everything (this way the cooking process will not stop and the multicooker will not need to reheat everything). The amount of water that I suggest is relative - if you like the finished dish to have gravy, pour a liter and a half.
Salt the contents of the bowl, add tomato sauce (paste, ketchup) and add a bay leaf. Add herbs and spices to your taste. Mix everything, close the multicooker with a lid and switch to the Stewing mode. I set the time to 40 minutes, but depending on the power of the device and the type of potato, more or less may be useful.
When 30 minutes have passed, check the potatoes are ready - they should be soft, but keep their shape. All that remains is to add chopped dill (I used frozen) or other greens. If you add chopped garlic, add it specifically at this moment. Mix everything and simmer under the lid for another 5-7 minutes.
Stewed potatoes with meat in a slow cooker is ready.
We serve this fragrant second dish immediately after preparation with fresh or pickled vegetables and herbs.
