9 best recipes for canapés on skewers for a gala table

If guests are going to come to you, then make a pleasant surprise - prepare a bright canapé with different fillings. On a formal table, canapes on skewers look great, and during the feast they are the very first to be taken apart. Ordinary recipes with photos will help you with cooking, in which all the steps are carefully described.

Canapes with tomatoes

If you have a jar of sun-dried tomatoes in your kitchen, you can create the best appetizer using one Italian recipe. The canapes look great on the table, and because of the special unusual taste, the whole snack will fly apart like hot pies.

  • jar of sun-dried tomatoes - 100-120 g;
  • 80-100 g Fetax;
  • a handful of pitted olives;
  • sprigs of greenish basil;
  • grain bread - 130-150 g.

Cut the bread into small pieces. You can cut into triangles or squares, whichever you prefer. You need to create crackers from the bread. Place the bread in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. You can fry the pieces in a frying pan with oil.

Place the tomatoes on a paper napkin and blot away any oil. Remove the fetax from the brine and cut into small cubes. Wash the basil and separate into florets.

Using a skewer, pierce the ingredients in the following sequence: bread, cheese, tomato, olive, basil. Sprinkle black pepper on top of the appetizer to make it more flavorful. Serve the treat to the table immediately after preparation.

Canapes with prunes and walnuts

Those who like the combination of nuts and cheese will appreciate this canapé recipe. Creating an appetizer is easier than usual; it only takes a couple of minutes to prepare, so if you have unexpected guests, the recipe will always help you out.

  • 1/2 loaf;

Cut the loaf into squares approximately 1 cm wide. Toast the bread in a toaster until it becomes crispy.

Wash the prunes. If you come across hard fruits, soak them in hot water in advance, then the fruits will soften. Place the washed prunes on a plate and blot with a napkin.

Cut the cheese into cubes, divide the walnuts into 2 halves if they are very large. Place the loaf on a skewer, then cheese, prunes and walnuts. Pour honey over the canapes and place in the refrigerator to cool for a few minutes.

Canapes with cucumber and salmon

Fish appetizers are perfect for any feast, as they are light and tasty. Take salmon for making, it is moderately fatty and juicy. Instead of salmon, salmon or trout are suitable. The fish must be lightly salted.

  • 100-130 g Borodino bread;
  • 80-100 g salmon;
  • 50 g butter;
  • 1/2 cucumber (fresh);
  • dill for design.

Cut Borodino bread into squares or rectangles. If you wish, you can fry it. When the bread has cooled, spread it with butter.

Separate the salmon fillet from the bones and cut into strips 4-5 mm wide. Roll the strips into rolls. Peel the cucumber and cut into circles.

Place a piece of bread on a skewer, then a cucumber, and then a salmon roll, pepper. Insert a sprig of dill into the fish. Place the appetizer in a cold space and place it on the table when guests arrive.

Canapes with smoked chicken

If you are looking for a hearty snack recipe, then pay attention to the following recipe. It uses smoked chicken, but you can take ham, boiled pork, and balyk. Their indicated number of ingredients yields 12-15 canapés.

  • 80-100 g smoked chicken fillet;
  • 50-60 g Hochland curd cheese;
  • 60-80 g Russian cheese;
  • a handful of greenish pitted olives.

Cut the snow-white bread into squares or squeeze out circles from the crumb using molds. Spread a thick layer of cream cheese on the bread. Remove the smoked chicken from the bones and cut into large pieces. Cut the cheese into large cubes.

Assemble the snack in the following order: bread, chicken, cheese, olive. You can serve the appetizer to the table immediately after preparation.

Canapes with shrimps

It's easy to create a stunning appetizer using shrimp and vegetables. Choose medium-sized shrimp so that they can be comfortably threaded onto a skewer. For decoration you can use reddish caviar.

  • half a baguette;
  • 120-150 g boiled shrimp;
  • ripe avocado - 1 pc.;
  • half each greenish and reddish bell pepper;
  • lemon juice and olive oil.

Cut the baguette into circles approximately 1 cm wide. Heat a frying pan and, without adding oil, fry the loaf on both sides until golden brown.

Peel the avocado, divide it into 2 halves and remove the pit. Cut the pulp into cubes. Wash the bell peppers and cut into cubes. Remove the shell from the shrimp.

You can start assembling: thread a slice of bread, red pepper, avocado, shrimp, green pepper onto a skewer. Place canapés on a platter and drizzle lemon juice and olive oil over the appetizer.

Canapes with salami on skewers

Try to create a simple snack from a loaf and sausage. For greasing, use cottage cheese, but it should not taste very salty. You can supplement the recipe with your favorite ingredients: add vegetables or hard cheese.

  • 1/2 baguette;
  • 100-120 g salami tenderloin;
  • a handful of pitted olives;
  • 60 g curd cheese;
  • garlic clove;
  • sprigs of fresh herbs (dill).

Cut the baguette into slices or squeeze out circles from the crumb using a glass. Place the pieces on a baking sheet and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 5-6 minutes. In a cup, mix cottage cheese, chopped herbs and garlic. When the slices have cooled, brush them with cream cheese.

Wrap the olive with a slice of salami, now pass a skewer through the bread slice and add salt. Serve the appetizer right away, bon appetit!

Canapes with mushrooms and chicken

Do you want to amaze your guests at the New Year's table? Then make an appetizer with pickled champignons and chicken fillet. Instead of champignons, you can use honey mushrooms, it will also be tasty.

  • 120-150 g chicken fillet;
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce;
  • tbsp honey;
  • 100 g pickled champignons;
  • sweet pepper - 1 pc.;
  • fresh cucumber - 1 pc.

Melt honey in a frying pan, then pour soy sauce into it and stir. Place chicken fillet into the mixture and fry on both sides. When the pieces are browned, take them out and pat dry with a napkin. Cut the cucumber into circles about 1 cm wide. Chop the pepper into squares.

First put the champignons on the skewer, then the pepper, chicken fillet and a piece of cucumber. For decoration, place sprigs of fresh basil between the skewers.

Regular canapé recipe

You probably have cheese and ham in your refrigerator. Make an ordinary but tasty appetizer out of them and place it on the festive table; they will sort it out first.

  • 150 g hard cheese;
  • 120-130 g ham;
  • 10-15 greenish pitted olives;
  • a couple of sprigs of curly parsley.

Cut the hard cheese into cubes. Cut the ham into rectangular slices so that they can be rolled into rolls.

Separate the parsley sprigs and insert the leaves inside the olive. Place an olive on a skewer, then a slice of ham and cheese. The appetizer is ready.

Canapes with quail eggs

It is not necessary to create an appetizer from meat or fish; you can create a tasty treat from slices of cheese and vegetables. The cheese can be either hard or soft. I suggest Feta cheese in my own recipe.

  • 5 quail eggs;
  • 1/2 baguette;
  • 90-100 g Feta cheese;
  • 10 Cherry tomatoes;
  • sprigs of fresh basil.

Boil the eggs until tender, then cool and peel them. Cut the eggs in half and add salt to each slice.

Cut the Feta cheese into cubes, divide the Cherry tomatoes into 2 equal halves. Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil. Cut the baguette into slices.

Place a quail egg on a skewer so that the cut is facing down, then thread the Cherry half with the cut facing up. After the tomatoes, thread a sprig of basil onto a skewer, and then a cube of Feta cheese and a slice of bread. You can serve treats for the feast.

I also suggest studying the recipes for regular and delicious sandwiches for the holiday table.

At your own discretion, you can add or slightly change any of the proposed recipes, it will still be delicious. Canapés on skewers help make the feast truly solemn, and guests will appreciate your hospitality and care.
