- You need to start preparing potato pie with minced meat with dough. It’s not enough to heat the milk, melt the butter. Add yeast and half the sugar to warm milk, stir and let stand for 15 minutes.
- Then add butter, remaining sugar, half the salt. Having mixed everything well, begin to add flour evenly, without ceasing to stir the mass with a spoon. When it becomes thick, you need to knead it with your hands. As a result, the dough should turn out homogeneous and manageable.
- Cover it with a towel and leave it warm for an hour.
- In the meantime, while the dough is rising, you need to prepare the meat and onions. Cut the meat into small pieces and pass through a meat grinder; cut the onion into half rings. Mix the minced meat with onion, add pepper and the remaining salt.
- Cut the peeled potatoes into bars or small slices.
- Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, lay out 2/3 of the risen dough. Then lay out the meat, again create a layer of potatoes on top.
- Roll out the rest of the dough, cover the filling with it, and pinch the edges. Place a small hole in the center so that the inside is perfectly baked - then the savory yeast pie with potatoes will turn out juicy.
- Place the oven on preheat, meanwhile beat the yolk and cover the top layer of dough with it.
- Bake the pie for 30-45 minutes at approximately 200 degrees.

To make a pie from kefir dough, you need the following ingredients:
- 1/3 tsp. soda;
- 1 glass of kefir;
- 4-5 glasses of flour;
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil.
For the inside you will need:
- 0.5 kg minced meat;
- 1 onion;
- 80 g hard cheese;
- 2 tomatoes (optional);
- little vegetable oil - for frying;
- salt and pepper to taste.
If the pie is made with kefir, then you need to add 2-3 chopped potatoes to the filling.
Manufacturing
- Mash the boiled potatoes, add a pinch of salt and pepper, add butter; Add flour, stir until smooth - the potato dough is ready. For fermented milk, mix the drink with soda, vegetable oil, add salt, and stir. Dump out the flour, knead the dough, then cover it with a towel and place in a warm space for 15-20 minutes.
- Chop the onion, mix with the meat, fry in a frying pan until fully cooked, then add salt and pepper to taste. If you choose fermented milk dough, then you still need to boil and crush the potatoes, and then add them to the prepared minced meat.
- Grease a baking pan with butter, roll out the dough thinly, and place in the pan; on top of it create a layer of entrails, then a layer of tomatoes cut into thin slices, with grated cheese at the end.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the pie for half an hour.
After this time, check the baked goods for readiness and, if necessary, keep them in the oven for another 5-10 minutes.

- 500 g puff pastry;

Recipe for “Short pie with minced meat and potatoes”:
Add salt and baking powder to the sifted flour and mix well.

I usually put a mixed minced meat filling in this pie. But now I have a chicken breast that I will sauté with onions and bell peppers.

- I peel the potatoes, wash them and boil them in water with salt. I mash the potatoes like mashed potatoes. Add salt, egg, butter. I stir thoroughly. I add the seeded flour, stirring, and knead a thick dough.
- I grease the baking dish with oil or line it with parchment paper. I poured the dough into the mold and molded it into something like a bowl with sides. Place the form with the dough in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- I peel the onion, cut it into half rings and fry it in a frying pan. When the onion is browned, I add finely chopped meat or minced meat. I fry, stirring constantly. Peeled and cut into strips bell peppers, add last.
- When the inside is ready, you should cool it slightly and then carefully place it in the mold with the dough. Cut the tomato into large slices and place the insides on top.
- I'm preparing the filling. In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Added spices, salt and pepper. I combine milk, cream and tomato paste with beaten eggs. I mix and pour this mixture into the pie filling so that it slightly covers the tomato slices. And sprinkled half of the grated cheese on top.
- Send the pan with the pie to the oven, previously preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for 40 - 50 minutes. 5 minutes before readiness, add a little more grated cheese.
This is how the savory, fluffy and rosy potato pie came out. It should be served when it has cooled slightly and the inside has thickened perfectly.

Mix the yeast dough for the pie. To do this, crumble the yeast into slightly warmed milk and stir with a whisk until it is completely dissolved. Grind the egg in a separate bowl with salt and sugar. Pour the egg into the milk-yeast mixture. Evenly add the sifted flour to the resulting mass and begin to knead the dough.
Add melted butter and sunflower oil. Mix well until smooth. Place the dough in a warm space, covering it with a clean, dry towel. When it rises, knead it once. After rising again, you can safely start making baked goods.
Defrost the minced meat if it is frozen. At this step, pepper and salt it.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Peel the onion and chop it into half rings.
Divide the dough into 2 parts. Separate one part (for the bottom of the pie) a little larger than the other. And we roll out this huge part and distribute it along the bottom of the baking dish or onto a baking sheet.
Lay out nickels of potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste.
Place pieces of minced meat in a random order on top of the potato medallions.
We also place onion half rings on the minced meat in a random order.
Roll out the second part of the dough and cover the top of the pie. Carefully join the edges.
Place in an oven preheated to 180C for approximately 1 hour. To prevent the top from burning, you can cover the cake with parchment paper halfway through baking.
