Lenten pizza dough without yeast naturally tastes different from the traditional one, but, in principle, it is also completely solid. At the very least, it meets my main requirements for pizza dough - it gives crispy bubbles and allows you to create a narrow pizza, which, however, does not sag under the weight of the inside. This dough really helps me out when I’ve already promised homemade pizza and suddenly I discover that I don’t have any yeast.

In fact, all I change in the composition of the dough is that instead of ordinary water I take carbonated water. Well, you also have to estimate that there will be no rise, which means that one serving requires a little more flour and water. The basic ratio at my usual flour moisture level: water - half as much as flour, and flour per 1 serving - somewhere around 130-140 g. For one serving - 1 tbsp. oils, finely crystalline salt, to taste.

Combine all the ingredients and knead them into a thick dough. If necessary, add flour.

After the dough comes together, knead it for about 5 minutes. There is no need to achieve perfect smoothness.

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest for about half an hour.

While the dough is resting, actually prepare the inside ingredients.

How to prepare a lenten yeast-free pizza that is not just made from lenten dough, but is also suitable for fasting in other respects (at least for non-strict days)? In fact, from the usual composition it is necessary to remove the cheese and omit the sausage. And the vast majority of ingredients that go into pizza are already lean! You just need to keep in mind that for a recipe without cheese, you need to take more oil (in regular pizza, the fats are in the cheese and meat products), and you should also increase the amount of seasonings so that the taste is not bland. Here, in addition to the tomatoes, I have put together a set for pizza with peppers - sweet Bulgarian and pickled pepperoni (can be replaced with lecho peppers). Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. for 1 serving, plus about 1 tsp. – for marinating ingredients. Seasonings – oregano, chili or dark pepper, coarse sea salt, onion, garlic.

Cut peppers, tomatoes and onions into thin slices.

Marinate them in a small amount of vegetable oil.

Squeeze the garlic into the oil; this consistency will be used to create a primer. If you do not use the freshest tomatoes, but canned chopped ones, then you can use much less oil.

Lean pizza dough without yeast lends itself to narrow rolling and rolling without flour. It is baked at temperatures of 250-300 degrees, i.e. Before you start rolling the dough and laying out the filling, you need to preheat the oven.

Transfer the thinly rolled dough onto pastry paper and lightly fold the sides.

Grease the dough with oil and garlic. Sprinkle generously with dry oregano and coarse salt.

    Lay out other ingredients.

Bake the pizza until the sides are brown. For me, at 250 degrees – 10 minutes, at 300 – 6 minutes.

You can already eat the first Lenten pizza, but we still have enough dough left for two servings!

The fastest Lenten pizza without yeast

She's not just the fastest. It, in addition to everything else, is also prepared from virtually nothing. A few ingredients and in 20-30 minutes the lean pizza is ready! By the way, I now have a luxurious Lenten appetizer with mushrooms !

For those who do not consume oil even on the remaining days of the week of Lent, and not according to the Charter, there is a beautiful option for Lenten pizza without oil. Just bypass the process of adding this ingredient.

This version of a freshly made dish will greatly appeal not only to those who are fasting. He will be welcomed by everyone who tries to eat right. As a result, at any moment you have your favorite dish on the table.

For you, firstly, you won’t have to run to some cafe, secondly, overpay there, because we have economical options for goods, thirdly, you won’t have to eat something unknown, because we know what it’s made of is what pizza consists of.

I also like this version of lean pizza because the dough can be prepared either according to your own recipe or from store-bought ingredients. One, two and done! Well, you can diversify the products as much as you like.

I prepared the filling first, because...
it needs to cool, and the lean dough is ready in 5 minutes. I chopped the mushrooms into thin slices. I sent them out to lightly fry. Then I cut the zucchini thinly.
And also lightly fried in oil. Now, while everything is cooling, you can play around with the dough.
Let's combine the ingredients indicated in the recipe, knead the stiff dough, and later divide it into small koloboks. Roll out into a narrow sheet, dripping a little oil once (we will get something like puff pastry). I immediately sent him to the raft.
And here, after smearing it with a layer of ketchup, she began to lay out the filling. First, mushrooms (you can, by the way, take more mushrooms - after frying they shrunk slightly). Place the cooled zucchini halves on top.
