How to cook delicious tomatoes stuffed with cheese and garlic according to a recipe with photos

Now let’s look at an easy and quick recipe for a savory snack with tomatoes. When I prepared it for the first time, I didn’t even know that this recipe already existed and was booming in popularity, especially in the spring and summer during the season of barbecue and outdoor recreation. Later, I found out about the varieties of such treats and highlighted the main rules that should be followed during the creation process. This treat is suitable for those who like to cook deliciously, quickly and cheaply. So let's get started creating another culinary masterpiece.

Savory tomatoes stuffed with cheese and garlic

Ingredients

Tomatoes 6 pcs.
Hard cheese 100 g
Garlic 2 cloves
Dill 1 bunch
Mayonnaise 70 g

Choosing the right ingredients

  • For snacks, use small tomatoes so that they are easy to pick up. Also, vegetables must be one hundred percent ripe and dense so that their juice does not leak out when cutting. Do not make the circles so thin that you can simply prick them with a fork.
  • cheese at all. Even with ordinary processed or smoked cheese, the dish will turn out very tasty.
  • Garlic adds piquancy to the insides. If you are not a particular fan of it, you can skip adding it.
  • You can create the filling in advance, and form the treat before serving, so that the tomatoes do not drip.
  • If you don’t eat store-bought mayonnaise, you can create homemade mayonnaise or use sour cream.

Step by step recipe

  1. Grate 100 g of cheese on a small grater, chop 1 bunch of dill and 2 cloves of garlic. Mix everything, add mayonnaise to taste and mix everything.
  2. Wash and cut 6 tomatoes into slices and add approximately 1 tsp of filling. for any piece.

  • You can serve it with meat, fish, or simply as a separate dish.
  • Cover the dish with lettuce leaves, add the appetizer and garnish with finely chopped reddish bell pepper and olives.

Manufacturing options

  • Our experienced chefs often adapt dishes that are prepared in other countries in their own way. So in Italy there is a state snack “Caprese” - these are tomatoes cut into rings, on top of them are placed circles of Mozzarella cheese and sprinkled with herbs and spices. This treat is prepared in the best Italian restaurants, and it was made a state dish because of the combination of colors that are identical to the flag of Italy. This dish is the progenitor of our tomato appetizer, which at the moment every housewife prepares in her own way.
  • Check out this very easy and delicious recipe for stuffed tomatoes. This appetizer can be served in an unusual way. Form the tomatoes into braids and put the filling inside. This will be a good decoration for a festive table.
  • Tomatoes stuffed with cheese and garlic and eggs are very tasty. According to the above recipe, add 2-3 boiled eggs to the filling and you will get a very tender, special snack.

  • Dishes made from stuffed vegetables have become very popular. I would like to share with you a recipe for stuffed zucchini. You can also use the filling for them at your own discretion. To do this, they eat cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, sausage, meat and liver.
  • Stuffed peppers in the oven come out very tasty according to this recipe. This dish can be treated not only to a family, but also to a cheerful group. You can also experiment with the inside. I often make meat filling with rice and vegetables.
  • Stuffed eggplants in the oven can also be a good appetizer on a gala table. This dish has a very appetizing appearance and smell. I recommend adding it to your festive or daily table in the near future.

Tomatoes stuffed with cheese and garlic

Appetizers made from tomatoes and cheese are a frequent guest at festive tables. They are prepared in a matter of minutes, from available goods, and most importantly, the taste is pleasant, because tomatoes, cheese and garlic mix together amazingly. A real housewife's dream in terms of “quick-inexpensive-tasty”.

You can stuff tomatoes with different types of cheese. Curd, hard or processed cheese is suitable. You can add herbs, sour cream or mayonnaise. Garlic perfectly sets off the taste of the dish, the amount of which can be constantly adjusted to taste. For satiety, a boiled chicken egg, crushed on a grater, is often added. Most often, the appetizer is decorated with herbs or olives.

Small, one-bite tomatoes look great on a plate. If they are large, then you can not stuff them, but cut them into rings and coat them with cheese inside to make it easier to eat. In short, there are a lot of manufacturing and serving options. How do you prepare tomato and cheese appetizers?

Ingredients

  • processed cheese “Druzhba” – 1 pc.
  • small tomatoes – 6 pcs.
  • garlic – 1 large clove
  • dill – 4-6 sprigs
  • mayonnaise – 1 tbsp. l.
  • olives – 6 pcs.

Manufacturing

Let's prepare the filling. Grind the processed cheese and garlic on a small grater.

Combine in a bowl with chopped dill. Season with mayonnaise and mix well with a fork until smooth. The result will be a medium-mixed cheese mass, spicy, with the smell of greenery. There is no need to add salt.

We cut off the top of the tomatoes. Helping yourself with a teaspoon or a narrow knife, extract the pulp (it can later be used for sauces and other dishes). The result is a kind of tomato braiding.

Stuff the tomatoes with cheese insides - approximately 2 teaspoons each. So that they do not fall on their side, but remain stable on the plate, you can slightly cut the flesh from below with a knife, but not all the way through.

We decorate according to our own taste, for example, olives. If with pits, then cut each olive crosswise, after which we carefully take them out, leaving only the pulp.

Serve to the table immediately after preparation. Calculation: 3 pieces per serving. The appetizer comes out tender and juicy, with the smell of garlic and dill, and the olives leave behind a slightly salty aftertaste.
