How to cook pasta nests with minced meat:
First, finely chop the onion.
Grate the carrots on a large grater.
In a frying pan (I have a diameter of 28 cm), heat the vegetable oil and add some of the onion.
Fry briefly and add carrots. Fry over medium heat, stirring frequently until browning begins.
Combine minced meat and chopped onion. Add salt, black pepper and mix well with your hands.
We fill the tagliatelle pasta nests tightly with the prepared minced meat.
Add tomato paste, salt and black pepper to the carrots and onions. Stir and fry for another 1 minute.
Pour in approximately 0.5 liters of boiling water and stir well.
Place the stuffed nests in the frying pan. Add enough boiling water so that they are immersed in liquid to the top (otherwise the top remains solid). Bring to a boil. Cover the pan with a tight lid and reduce the heat to low. Simmer the stuffed pasta nests with minced meat for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, grate the cheese.
Sprinkle the pasta nests with minced meat with grated cheese. Close the pan with a lid again. Simmer for another 3 minutes. Turn off the fire.
Pasta nests with minced meat can be served immediately after production, but it is better to let them sit for 5-10 minutes.
Before serving, sprinkle the pasta nests with minced meat with chopped herbs.
Children will literally love this original way of making pasta.
Well, adults are unlikely to refuse to try them. Bon appetit!

It seemed to me that it was necessary to fry the minced meat first. Therefore, if you fill it with water, it is unclear whether they are ready or not. In general, thanks for the recipe) I will improve it for myself

In this article I present to your attention methods on how to cook nests with minced meat in the oven. You can choose a classic filling with meat, cheese, mushrooms, or an unusual one: with Chinese vegetable consistency, shrimp. The dish allows you to experiment, yet it is prepared very quickly. In 30-40 minutes you will get a real second course.
Minced meat nests in the oven: recipes step by step
In the last article I looked at making nests with minced meat in a frying pan. The dish is prepared using ready-made pasta in the shape of a bird's house (for example, from the Makfa company). But you can create them yourself from noodles, spaghetti, vermicelli and so on.
When receiving nests in the oven, the development and cooking time are identical, so I recommend trying all the options.
You can use any kind of minced meat: chicken, beef, homemade (pork + beef), turkey, and so on. By the way, you can get bird housing not only from pasta, but also from vegetables, for example, when stuffing zucchini. And eggplants make magical boats with meat.
Regular option
I present a traditional recipe for nests cooked in the oven:
- Place 6 nests in the mold.
- Combine 250 g of minced meat with chopped onion, salt, and spices. Stir the mass.
- Stuff the nests with meat.
- Combine 3 tbsp. spoons of tomato paste, 3 tbsp. spoons of cream (20%), stir in the sauce.
- Coat the nests with gravy. Pour water into the mold until the products are covered.
- Bake in the oven for about half an hour until the pasta is soft.
Serve the dish sprinkled with fresh chopped herbs.
The video shows another manufacturing option.
With cheese
- Prepare 250 g of minced beef and pork (in equal parts), add chopped onion, crushed clove of garlic, salt, spices.
- Boil 6 nests in advance until half cooked (not more than a couple of minutes in boiling water), place in a mold and fill with meat.
- Add a couple of tablespoons of sour cream, dilute slightly with water (about 100 ml).
- Bake in the oven for half an hour, 5-10 minutes. until ready, sprinkle the products with 100 g of grated cheese.
With mushrooms
Method for producing a dish with mushroom inside:
- Combine 400 g of minced pork and beef with chopped onion, salt and spices.
- Fry 300 g of chopped mushrooms until tender. Combine with meat.
- Place 12 nests in the mold. Stuff the nests with the inside. Pour the sauce over the dish with 150 g of sour cream diluted with water. The gravy must cover the products to the middle.
- Bake for half an hour, covering the pan with foil. If you wish, you can then remove the foil, sprinkle the dish with grated cheese and put it in the oven for another 5 minutes.
If the finished nests are very hard, it is recommended to keep the products in boiling water for several minutes before cooking.
With tomatoes
The dish is prepared according to the usual method with the addition of tomato:
- Combine 400-500 g of minced meat with chopped onion, salt and pepper. Mix the composition.
- Boil 12 nests in advance for about 2 minutes in boiling water and place on a baking sheet.
- Stuff with meat, place round tomato slices on top.
- Combine 3 tbsp. spoons of tomato paste and the same amount of sour cream, dilute with water and salt.
- Pour gravy over the products (to the middle).
- Bake for half an hour, 5 minutes. Before the end of readiness, sprinkle the nests with 100-150 g of grated cheese.
With vegetable stew
The recipe involves experiments at your discretion.
Vegetables perfectly complement the dish and add piquancy to the taste. Use any of your own.
- Combine 500 g of minced meat with chopped onion, salt and spices.
- Grate the carrots, chop the tomatoes and any other vegetables into cubes (zucchini, eggplant, peppers, and so on).
- Lightly fry the vegetables in vegetable oil, add 2 tbsp. spoons of tomato paste and the same amount of sour cream, dilute with water and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the vegetable mass and 12 nests in a baking sheet; the liquid reaches approximately the middle of the products (if desired, they can be kept in boiling water for several minutes to soften them).
- Stuff the bird's home with meat.
- Bake for 30 minutes, 2 minutes. until ready, sprinkle the dish with 100 g of grated cheese.
With Chinese vegetable consistency
The recipe uses a ready-made Chinese vegetable mixture, which includes carrots, cane, dark mushroom, mung bean sprouts, onions, peppers, peas:
- Boil the nests in advance in boiling water (2 minutes).
- Prepare Bechamel sauce - fry 2 tablespoons of flour in the same amount of butter, add 500 ml of milk, cook until thick.
- Fry Chinese vegetables and add salt. Add the sauce and simmer for a couple of minutes after boiling.
- Place the nests in a mold, remove the vegetables from the sauce and place them in the bird’s housing. Pour Bechamel over the dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes, 5 minutes. until ready, sprinkle with 100 g of grated cheese.
With shrimps
The size of the inside depends on your taste preferences:
- Boil 6 nests in salted boiling water (3-5 minutes).
- Fry the garlic in vegetable oil, then remove and add shrimp, sprinkle with lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Pour in cream (20%), size based on the number of shrimp (until completely covered). Simmer until thickened.
- Place pasta in a mold and fill with shrimp and sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for about 10-15 minutes.
In creamy sauce
Nests are mostly cooked in sauce: creamy, tomato.
A mixture of gravies is often used.

- Place 12 nests in a mold and stuff with meat.
- Combine 500 ml cream (22%) with 5 tbsp. spoons of sour cream, 500-600 ml of water, 2 tbsp. spoons of flour, spices. Mix the mixture using a mixer.
- Pour the sauce over the nests and cover with foil.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, then remove the foil and sprinkle the dish with grated cheese to taste. Place in the oven for another 5-10 minutes.
In tomato sauce
- In advance, boil the nests (12 pieces) in boiling salted water for about 2-3 minutes and place in a mold.
- Combine 500 g of minced meat with chopped onion, salt and spices. Stuff the nests with the mixture.
- Prepare the sauce - fry grated carrots and chopped onions in vegetable oil, add 2 tbsp. spoons of flour, the same amount of tomato paste, you can add chopped tomato. Dilute with water. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Fill the nests with sauce (up to half). Bake for half an hour, 5 minutes before cooking, sprinkle the dish with grated cheese.

“Nests” with minced meat in the oven
A savory meat dish made from common items - minced meat and pasta, rolled into nests. Usually it's tagliatelle or spaghetti. Pasta prepared in this way looks original and appetizing on the plate.
You can use any kind of minced meat for the inside of the “nests”. It is not better to use store-bought minced meat; it is quite easy to prepare it yourself from the meat that you like. The minced meat for this dish should be quite juicy; there is no need to add bread or eggs to it. Use spices to your own taste. I had mixed minced pork and chicken thigh fillets.
The cooking time for “nests” is usually indicated on the package. It will need to be reduced by 2 times in order to cook the pasta until half cooked.
Ingredients
- minced meat – 250 g
- small onion – 1 pc.
- tagliatelle “nest” pasta – 6 pcs.
- cheese – 80 g
- tomato – 0.5 pcs.
- salt - to taste
- ground pepper mixture - to taste
- sour cream – 150 ml
- tomato sauce – 1 tbsp. spoon
- dried dill – 0.5 teaspoon
- dried garlic – 0.3 tsp
Manufacturing
Add finely chopped onion to the minced meat, season with salt and pepper.
Mix the minced meat well with your hands and beat it in a bowl a couple of times so that the minced meat becomes homogeneous and dense.
Divide the minced meat into 6 parts.
Combine sour cream with tomato sauce, add dried dill and garlic, stir.
Boil water in a saucepan and add salt. Place the pasta in the water and cook for 2 minutes from the moment it boils.
Remove the nests from the water with a slotted spoon and transfer to a baking dish. Do not pour out the water yet.
Fill the nests with sauce. Create small balls or cakes from the minced meat and distribute them among the “nests”.
Coat the minced meat with sauce as well. Dilute the remaining sauce with a small amount of water in which the pasta was cooked and pour into the mold. Cover the pan with foil and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Then remove the foil and place tomato slices on the nests.
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Place in the oven again and bake for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts.
