  • Chicken hearts – 400 g
  • Garlic - 1 head
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Lemon - 1/2 part
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Ground paprika - 1 tsp.
  • Curry - 1 tsp.
  • Pepper mixture - 1/2 tsp.
  • Soy sauce - 30 ml.

Step-by-step preparation of Chinese chicken hearts in soy sauce

1. Let's start with making the sauce. Mix sugar and spices.

2. Add soy sauce and the juice of half a lemon, mix well. Set the bowl of sauce aside, we'll need it soon.

3. Cut the onion into half rings, 4-5 cloves of garlic into slices.

4. Place the onions and garlic in a frying pan with perfectly heated oil. Fry for almost 3-4 minutes over high heat, stirring constantly.

5. We managed to purchase chicken hearts already peeled. If you are not so lucky, then first remove the fat from them and remove blood clots (the internal environment of the human and animal body) , and also cut off large vessels. After such manipulations, the chicken hearts can be added to the frying pan with the onions and garlic.

6. Fry chicken hearts for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly. They should change color.

7. Add our soy sauce to the pan. For the richest flavor, add 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar to the sauce.

8. Turn the heat under the frying pan to maximum and do not leave it. Stir the contents of the pan constantly; after 5 minutes you will see that the soy sauce has begun to evaporate, and the hearts and onions are covered with a thin, appetizing layer of a specific sauce.

9. You can serve Chinese chicken hearts as an independent appetizer, or with a side dish of rice noodles or rice.

Ingredients

  • Black honey - 2 tbsp. + –

  • Balsamic vinegar - 4 tbsp. + –
  • Mustard “Russian” - 2 tsp. + –
  • Olive oil - 4 tbsp. + –

How to cook chicken hearts with soy sauce and honey

  1. We wash the hearts well under cold running water and clean them of films, vessels and fat. Place in a colander.
  2. In a deep bowl, mix vinegar, olive oil, dark pepper, honey, mustard and soy sauce. Mix this mass until it becomes very homogeneous.
  3. Place the cleaned hearts in this marinade and mix well so that the mixture envelops each heart. Cover the container with a lid and send the hearts to marinate in the refrigerator for several hours. It is best to set aside night for this process (that is, the dark time of day) , so the hearts will be one hundred percent saturated with the smells of sauce, honey and other ingredients.
  4. Set the oven to warm up to 180-190 degrees. We take the skewers out of the water.
  5. Remove the hearts from the bowl and string them onto soaked skewers. Place an iron bowl or ladle with water inside the oven (to prevent the hearts from drying out).
  6. Place the strung hearts on a wire mesh in the oven and cook for a third of an hour. A sign that the dish is ready is the golden surface of the hearts.

Serve these hearts with mashed potatoes or fresh vegetables. You can remove them from the skewers, or throw them skewered and serve as is.

Chicken hearts marinated in soy sauce

If you are preparing this offal for the first time, then it is best to use this recipe. The number of ingredients required for such a dish is small, and making similar traditional hearts will not take much of your time.

  • Chicken hearts – 800 g;
  • Dark pepper - a pinch;
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp;
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves;
  • Sunflower oil – 5 tbsp.

How to make chicken hearts in soy sauce

  1. First, we prepare the hearts - wash them as needed, remove the films and other unnecessary parts.
  2. Place the offal in a colander and allow excess water to drain.
  3. Pour the chicken hearts into a fairly deep bowl, pour soy sauce into it, then mix.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and mix everything properly again.
  5. Remove the skin from the garlic cloves, chop very finely and add to the bowl.
  6. Add the pepper here and, after thoroughly mixing, cover with a lid. We send the hearts to marinate in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
  7. After the hearts have been marinated, we proceed to cooking. Pour 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil into a deep frying pan or wok.
  8. Pour in our hearts (the marinade needs to be drained) and fry them until a corresponding brown crust appears on the surface. To prevent the hearts from burning, we constantly pull the pan so that they roll along its bottom and always mix, this way we will ensure uniform frying.

For such hearts, the best side dish would be boiled rice. A similar dish is one of the representatives of Asian cuisine, and therefore this particular cereal goes perfectly with it. If desired, you can sprinkle the prepared hearts with roasted sesame seeds and serve them with sweet and sour or hot sauce.

Recipe for chicken hearts with soy sauce in a slow cooker

Even the previous traditional recipe may seem somewhat complicated to some cooks. Still, if in the process of preparing dishes you primarily value simplicity, then you will certainly like this recipe.

Ingredients

  • Chicken hearts – 1 kg;
  • Sweet pepper – 3 pcs.;
  • Fresh tomatoes – 2 pcs.;
  • Carrots – 1-2 pcs.;
  • Onions – 1-2 pcs.;
  • Garlic – 2 cloves;
  • Soy sauce – 8 tbsp;
  • Dark pepper and spices - to taste.

How to create chicken hearts with soy sauce in a slow cooker

  1. We will prepare the hearts in the same way as we did in previous recipes. After all the procedures, we throw them into a colander.
  2. We peel the onion, rinse it and cut it into a fairly small cube, or chop it into quarter rings.
  3. Peel the carrots and grate them on a large grater.
  4. We wash the sweet bell pepper under running water, cut off the cap, and then remove all the seeds. Rinse again and cut into thin half rings.
  5. Pour the dried hearts into the multicooker container. Turn on the “Baking” mode and fry the hearts for a couple of minutes, always stirring. There is no need to close the lid of the device during this process.
  6. Add here the vegetable tenderloin and sauce, dark pepper and favorite spices, mix everything. Close the lid, turn on the “quenching” mode, and set the timer to one hour. When you hear a beep, wait a couple more minutes and only later open the multicooker. This way the dish will be completely saturated with all the smells.

These chicken hearts in soy sauce go well with any side dish. During the stewing process, vegetables soften and combine with the liquid in the slow cooker. Thanks to this process, an indescribably delicious sauce appears, which will perfectly complement buckwheat, rice or other dry cereals. I am sharing a recipe for making chicken hearts in honey-soy sauce with sour cream.

Chicken by-products are becoming increasingly popular among our housewives. This is especially true for hearts and livers. You can prepare tasty and satisfying dishes from them. They are especially good in various sauces with vegetables. They can be served either with a side dish or as a separate dish. Prepare for your health!

Ingredients

  • Chicken hearts – 300 g
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Sour cream 15% – 150 g
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Sunflower oil – 1 tsp.
  • Soy sauce – 100 ml
  • Natural honey – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 tsp.
  • Salt – 0.5 tsp.

How to cook chicken hearts in honey-soy sauce

Wash the chicken hearts and cut off all the membranes.

Place the hearts in a saucepan, add hot water and cook for about 20 minutes.

Remove the hearts from the broth and cut into slices.

Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a large grater.

Peel and chop the onion.

Peel the garlic cloves from dry skins and chop finely.

Grease a frying pan with sunflower oil, add butter, melt it and put onion and garlic in it.

Fry the mixture until semi-soft.

Fry everything until soft.

Add hearts and peppers to the vegetables.

Mix sour cream with 200 ml of water and pour this liquid into the frying pan.

Simmer the contents for about 20 minutes.

Add honey to soy sauce.

Stir the mixture well.

Pour the purchased sauce over the vegetables and hearts.

Simmer the dish for another 3 minutes.

Serve chicken hearts in honey-soy sauce in portions, garnished with herbs. A side dish of rice goes perfectly with them.
