I’ll tell you how to simply and deliciously cook oyster mushrooms. Fry the mushrooms in a frying pan with butter. Appetizing, rosy, fragrant and very tasty fried oyster mushrooms are a delicious appetizer or ingredient for almost all salads.
For me, oyster mushrooms are even tastier than the same champignons. When fried, they resemble... chanterelles! Quite crispy and moderately dense, tender and aromatic, these mushrooms are a suitable ingredient for almost all home cooking dishes. They are great served with fried potatoes!
Thanks to the addition of a small amount of butter at the end of cooking, fried oyster mushrooms will delight with their smell. I would not recommend frying it only in butter, because the milk protein will quickly burn and give off bitterness. If you wish, you can flavor the fried oyster mushrooms with a clove of garlic, but this is not for everyone.
Ingredients:
Making a dish step by step:
To make delicious fried mushrooms, we will need the following ingredients: oyster mushrooms, onions, refined vegetable oil and butter, salt and ground dark pepper.
First, carefully wash the mushrooms under cool running water. Just don’t put mushrooms in a bowl of water - they will immediately absorb the liquid! We transfer clean oyster mushrooms to paper napkins or a towel to remove excess water (there is no need for water when frying).
Then we separate the bunches into individual mushrooms. If the oyster mushrooms are large, cut them smaller. They write that the base and legs of oyster mushrooms are quite dense, so some people simply cut them off and throw them away. I think it depends on the maturity of the mushrooms. For example, my oyster mushrooms were young and I consumed everything without a trace.
In a wide and deep frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of refined vegetable oil and add the cooked oyster mushrooms. Fry over high heat, stirring, for about 5 minutes.
At this time, peel and cut into small cubes one medium onion.
When the oyster mushrooms turn golden brown, they are virtually done.
Add the chopped onion and, stirring, fry everything together over medium heat.
When the onion browns, add a teaspoon of butter (for smell and pleasant taste), salt and pepper to taste.
Almost 1 more minute and the fried oyster mushrooms will be ready. If you wish, add chopped garlic, dill or parsley - it's a matter of taste.
Appetizing, rosy, fragrant and very tasty mushrooms are a delicious appetizer or ingredient for almost all salads. Cook for your health and bon appetit, friends!

- Prepare two frying pans and heat them on the stove. Place the mushrooms in the first frying pan and cover with a lid. After just a couple of minutes, you will notice that a lot of water has appeared in the pan. It's not terrible. You just need to open the lid and let the excess water evaporate.
- When the pan becomes dry, add a little vegetable oil and turn up the heat. You need to fry for a couple more minutes, while constantly stirring the mushrooms.
- While the mushrooms are cooking, take a second frying pan and fry the potatoes as usual.
- Once the potatoes are half-cooked, add onion, salt and season with spices.
