Homemade gingerbread is much tastier than store-bought ones and does not contain unnecessary additives, for example, preservatives or dyes. Making gingerbread cookies at home is easy, and the result will amuse you and your loved ones.

We have prepared several proven gingerbread recipes with photos that will not leave you indifferent.

The usual recipe for gingerbread for painting

These spicy products are constantly associated with New Year's holidays, which is why they are usually baked in the shape of snowflakes and Christmas trees. You will need the following products:

  • 370 g flour;
  • 150 g honey;
  • 125 g sugar;
  • 100 g margarine;
  • 2 chicken eggs;
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder;
  • 1 g vanillin;
  • 1 teaspoon each of ginger, orange zest, cinnamon, cocoa.

Combine margarine with honey and melt. Add dry ingredients into the mixture and knead into an elastic dough. Place it in a bag and place it in a cool space for 30-40 minutes.

Then roll out the dough to a width of 6-7 mm, cut out the gingerbread cookies using pastry cutters. Bake at 180-190°C until done.

Gingerbread cookies are great for painting because they have a flat, even surface. We learned how to prepare glaze for gingerbread cookies in previous articles.

Recipe for quick mint gingerbread cookies

These gingerbread cookies can be eaten during Lent because they do not contain ingredients of animal origin. The following products will be useful:

  • 400 g of premium flour;
  • 250 g sugar;
  • 60 ml refined vegetable oil;
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder;
  • 1 teaspoon mint essence;
  • vanilla to taste.

Dissolve sugar in 100 ml of water and bring the syrup to a boil, add sunflower oil. Sift the flour and mix with the dry ingredients. Add mint essence and flour to the cooled syrup. Knead a soft, slightly sticky dough and place it in the cold for 20 minutes.

After this, roll out the dough and form gingerbread cookies. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 12-15 minutes.

Recipe for delicious soft gingerbreads with kefir

Gingerbread cookies made with kefir (you can also cook them with sour cream or sour milk) turn out soft, airy, and cook very quickly. For production you will need:

  • 500 g sweet sand;
  • 500 ml kefir (sour milk, watery sour cream);
  • 3 chicken yolks;
  • 50 g sunflower oil;
  • 5±1 glasses of premium flour;
  • 2 teaspoons of soda;
  • 1 g vanillin;
  • a pinch of salt.

Mix all the ingredients (not counting the flour), and then knead the dough, adding flour in portions. It may require a little more or less than the indicated amount. As a result, you should get a soft, slightly sticky dough that needs to be rolled out and formed into gingerbread cookies.

Bake at 180°C until done (approximately 15-20 minutes). Cover the finished cooled products with icing or painting.

Homemade honey gingerbread with inside

This gingerbread recipe uses honey, spices and rye flour, which is why their taste is very spicy and rich. To highlight it, choose jam with a sour taste: cranberry, apricot, lemon. Give preference to heat-stable fillings that do not change during baking and do not leak. If you do not understand how to use this type of product, we recommend that you watch the video instructions:

To make sweets you will need:

  • 150 g of fragrant honey;
  • 150 g sweet sand;
  • 1 testicle;
  • 100 g butter;
  • 300 g wheat flour;
  • 150 g rye flour;
  • 1 teaspoon of soda;
  • ½ teaspoon each cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves
  • heat-stable Dolcemix interior with your favorite taste.

Melt the butter and honey, mix them, add sugar, spices and soda. Stir vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved, then add the egg and beat the mixture with a blender. Add flour in portions. The correct dough should stick slightly to your palms, but should not stretch when cutting with a knife.

Roll out to a width of 5-7 mm, cut out similar circles from it, put the filling on one of them, and cover with the second on top. Carefully pinch the edges so that the inside does not leak out.

Bake the gingerbread at 170°C until done (approximately 12-15 minutes). Decorate the finished products with glaze or painting.

Step-by-step recipe for Tula gingerbread

It is no secret that now you can buy Tula gingerbread not only in its homeland, but also in any grocery store. But for some reason, purchased products are completely different from those delicious, fragrant gingerbread cookies that we adored so much in childhood.

We suggest preparing Tula gingerbread cookies at home. The baked goods come out soft, airy, retain freshness for a long time and taste many times better than store-bought counterparts.

For production you will need:

  • 2 chicken eggs;
  • 200 g sweet sand;
  • 125 g butter;
  • 60 g honey;
  • 20 g cinnamon;
  • 350-450 g wheat flour;
  • 1 teaspoon of soda;
  • jam or heat-stable interior Dolcemix
  • icing glaze for decoration.

Whisk eggs, baking soda, honey and cinnamon. Pour the melted butter into the mixture and whisk again until a homogeneous mass with small bubbles forms. Let the dough cool and only later add flour. Knead soft plastic dough and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. It will be much easier to work with the cooled mass.

Roll out the dough to a width of 5 mm and cut into rectangles. Place the filling on one half, cover the other half and pinch the edges.

Place the gingerbreads on oiled baking paper and bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes.

Tula gingerbread cookies are usually decorated with icing, which can be purchased on our food ingredients website 100ing.ru. Delivery is carried out throughout Russia, and there is also pick-up from Fri Boxberry.

  • 100 ml sunflower oil;
  • 1 g vanillin;
  • 10 g baking powder;
  • a pinch of salt.

Nina and Ulyana Tarasova “And we have cookies!”

Gingerbread

Gingerbread is a unique confectionery product. They were known back in the 9th century. Back then, honey, rye flour and berry juice were used to make them, with honey making up at least 50% of all ingredients in the recipe. More than a century has passed, but homemade gingerbread is still prepared today.

There are three types of gingerbread: molded, carved and printed. The model was sculpted by hand literally in the same way as household items and toys are sculpted from clay. Carved or, as it was also called, silhouette or die-cut, cut out using a cardboard stencil or tin mold. Well, to make printed gingerbread cookies, a special gingerbread board was used. Already in the seventeenth century, gingerbread making became the most popular folk craft. And even such a profession as gingerbread maker arose. And to this day, the recipe for Tula gingerbread remains the calling card of the town.
