Recipe for chocolate cake in a slow cooker
Chocolate cupcake is a dessert that comes out amazing in the slow cooker. The warm pulp of the baked goods is distinguished by its high friability and moisture content, which brings a lot of pleasure to gourmands.
- Sweet sand 200 g.
- Butter 125 g.
- Chicken egg 3 pcs.
- Soda ½ tsp.
- Flour 1 tbsp.
- Cocoa 2 tbsp.
- Oil for lubricating the bowl
This cake can be topped with chocolate icing, sprinkled with nuts or sweet powder. But this delicious wet dessert doesn’t need to be topped with anything. Even in this form, the pie will amaze tasters with its porosity and tenderness.
Tips for the recipe
Preparing a chocolate cake in a slow cooker is as simple as possible, but novice housewives will benefit from the advice of experienced chefs:
- The multicooker lid must always be closed.
Do not open it so that cool air does not fall on the surface of the still raw cake. To remove the product from the device, just tap on the bottom of the inverted bowl. - To make a cupcake, it is not necessary to use the “baking” mode. Try to experiment with choosing a different mode specifically for your own device. Maybe you will get the best outcome.
- There should be enough dough so that it does not take up more than ⅔ of the size of the bowl.
- Baked goods made from the thickest dough will cook faster.
- Melted chocolate and berries are used to decorate the cupcake.
- To enhance the chocolate taste, melted chocolate is added to the dough, in addition to cocoa powder.
- If you decide to add melted chocolate, you will need to reduce the amount of flour to maintain the desired mixture.
Remember that a regular recipe can be complicated by adding new berries or fruits to the dough. Banana, apple, pear can be pureed and put into the dough. The berries should not be crushed. In general, they better saturate the cupcake with a pronounced berry taste.
The lean version without butter will appeal to those who are watching their weight.
A little about decoration
Some confectioners prefer to cut the baked dessert into layers and coat it with cream. Whipped cream is used as a layer, with which the freshest berries (raspberries, strawberries cut in half, banana slices) are amazingly mixed.
The berry mass is spread on the first layer of cream, and if desired, covered with a second layer of whipped cream. Place a layer of baked goods on top.
You can also make a composition of berries or pieces of fruit on the surface of the cupcake. Between the berries, chocolate slices look better, changing the color scheme of the decoration.
Multi-colored fruits can be placed on chocolate glaze, whipped cream, or randomly creating a pattern. Using a pastry syringe, make a luxurious border around the edge of the cupcake, and place the berries in the middle.
Chocolate glaze and a special sweet topping in the form of multi-colored small figures, for example, stars, circles or hearts, look unsurpassed on a dessert for a children's party.
When decorating baked goods for your baby, you need to take into account that berries can cause allergies. You should prefer sweet fruits.
Don’t be afraid to get creative, but combine products correctly. If the cake is divided into layers, then the decoration and the layer must match. For example, berries or fruits can be placed both outside and inside the product.
Alternatively, the cupcake can be decorated with coconut or chocolate chips.
Successful decoration with the right combination of products will provide the cupcake with the latest colors of taste.
There are many recipes for making chocolate muffins in a slow cooker: with kefir, curd-chocolate, chocolate-banana, with cherries, with chocolate and others. Whatever option you choose, at least which one will turn out moist and tasty. This is the highlight of the multicooker.
Keep in mind that all devices are different, they differ in power. Therefore, it is necessary to study the characteristics of your own multicooker and choose the best time and mode of production. Chocolate cake is such a delicious treat that you'll want to make it over and over again.

And yet, I think it is not correct to indicate such a measure of size/weight as a multi-glass. All manufacturers have their own vision of this accessory. And even different models have different glasses. For example, I have two Redmonts, one has a glass of 120 ml, the other 160, and there is also 180.

Chocolate cupcake in a slow cooker
Luxurious chocolate taste, crumbly texture, attractive seductiveness - these are the words that can describe this chocolate magic.
This is baking in a Panasonic 10 multicooker, although when I came across the recipe, it was given for making in the microwave. It’s faster there, I don’t argue, but the texture of the dough changes, and in the slow cooker the cake comes out fluffy.
What you need for baking chocolate cake in a slow cooker:
225 grams of margarine or butter
175 g sweet sand
3 tablespoons milk
50 grams cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
150 grams of flour
chocolate sweet powder for sprinkling (and you can absolutely create anything you want as decoration).
How to make chocolate cake in a slow cooker
Any cake starts with creaming butter or margarine with sugar; it’s very easy to create this using an immersion blender.
Later the testicles are driven in, preferably one at a time. Added the egg - beat it with a blender, then the next one.
Here I was in a little hurry, adding two straight away, but later I slowed down just in time.
Beat the butter with sugar and eggs, the mass has become homogeneous in texture, now it’s time to add milk and cocoa.
Stir it evenly to prevent chocolate dust from appearing in your kitchen.
Then everything is ordinary - add baking powder and sifted flour.
The dough comes out thick, I put it in a pan, which I greased with vegetable oil earlier using a silicone brush.
And turned on the “Baking” mode for 60 minutes. After the signal about the end of the program, I did not open the multicooker for about 5 minutes, no more.
This is what the cake looked like when finished.
I carefully took it out of the slow cooker and sprinkled some sweet chocolate powder on top.

9 explanations on “Chocolate cupcake in a slow cooker”
Yeah, it tastes better than a chocolate bar)))
Instead of cocoa, I melted it and added a bar of bitter chocolate to the dough! The cake tasted very good, but a little dry.
Alena, it wasn’t wet for me, and it wasn’t very dry either. Perhaps you should reduce the baking time a little so as not to dry it out. I baked with a Panasonic multicooker power of 10,490 watts.
Svetlana, thanks for the recipe! A very tasty cupcake. Moderately wet and crumbly. The husband is in ecstasy.
Ekaterina, thank you for your feedback. I really love this cupcake myself)))
I did little differently, equal parts butter and margarine.
I melted it in the microwave. I immediately poured it into the sugar and immediately added 3 eggs. Beat with a mixer. Then follow the recipe. Except that when adding flour, the dough SEEMED very watery. I added flour with spoons, in the amount of 3 pieces one at a time. I cooked it in the Redmond RMC M-90 multicooker for 50 minutes in the “baking” mode.
The cake came out not dry and very tasty. Thank you Svetlana for a delicious recipe for a lonely man.
Oleg, you are always welcome. If you do not change the sequence of steps, the result will be even better. Because this is a cake, the butter and sugar are constantly being whipped.
Because I had already prepared it and moved away from the technology, I decided to repeat it, but this time I would lay everything out correctly.
I just increased the quantity and, accordingly, the production time. And so, my proportions are as follows (increased by 1.33 times, approximately): 1) margarine 300 g 2) Sugar 235 g 3) 4 eggs 4) 4 tablespoons milk 5) 70 g cocoa 6) 1.5 tablespoons baking powder 7 ) 200 grams of flour. This time I ground margarine with sugar (and did not melt it, like the previous time), and laid in the eggs one at a time.
The rest is all according to the recipe. I cooked it in a Redmond RMC M-90 multicooker, in baking mode, increasing the time to 70 minutes, but since the step is 5 minutes, you can set it to 75 minutes. It was barely baked, it was almost not even noticeable.
