Chocolate buns made from yeast dough

Chocolate buns made from yeast dough

I would like to share with you a delicious recipe for chocolate buns made from yeast dough. The baked goods come out indescribably fluffy, airy and very tasty. I took dark chocolate, you can change it to milk chocolate. I sprinkled the buns with streusel, you can simply brush them with warm milk before baking. These wonderful buns can be served with evening tea or taken with you to work or school.

Ingredients

Manufacturing process

Pour yeast, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour into warm water.

Mix well and, cover with cling film, leave the dough for 15 minutes in a warm place.

After time, the dough will “come to life” (bubble). Pour the dough into a large bowl, add warm milk, egg, salt, and remaining sugar.

Pour melted and cooled margarine into this.

Mix the mixture well and add the remaining flour.

Knead a fairly soft dough. There is no need to knead the dough for a very long time and add flour, it should be a little sticky.

Cover the dough with film and leave for 1 hour in a warm place. Knead the risen dough and leave it for another 1 hour.

Once risen the second time, knead the dough a little again.

Divide the dough into 12-14 parts and roll into balls. Flatten any ball into a flat cake, place a few pieces of broken chocolate in the center.

Carefully join the edges of each flatbread and form round buns.

Leave the yeast buns with chocolate in a warm place, covered with film, for 15 minutes.

Prepare the streusel: mix sugar and flour, add cool butter.

Rub the butter with sugar and flour into small crumbs with your hands and the streusel is ready.

Next, brush the top of each bun with warm milk and sprinkle with streusel. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment and lightly sprinkled with flour at a distance of 5-8 cm from each other. Leave the buns in a warm place for 15 minutes to proof.

Bake the chocolate buns in an oven preheated to 180-190 degrees for 25-35 minutes (until golden brown).

Buns with chocolate inside made from yeast dough in the oven

Hello, honored guests and regular readers of the blog! Everyone already understands how delicious homemade baked goods are and, naturally, they will be much healthier than store-bought ones. Now we will prepare fragrant, fluffy and indescribably delicious buns with chocolate insides from yeast dough.

These crumpets can be eaten for breakfast, afternoon snack, or just for dessert. Just don’t overuse it, especially if you are watching your own figure and don’t want to gain a few extra pounds. But from time to time you can treat yourself to such a delicacy.

How to create buns with chocolate inside

Recently I started using only live yeast for baking. But you can change them dry. I will indicate the quantity below in the ingredients. The finished buns can be additionally poured with melted chocolate and decorated as desired, or you can throw them as is. In this case, they will be the least caloric.

I often use this recipe for buns with different insides. It is quite simple and does not take very much time. Try it and see for yourself.

Ingredients:

    compressed yeast - 20 g, or dry

6.5 g;

  • milk - 250 ml;
  • premium wheat flour - 450 g;
  • sugar - 120 gr;
  • butter - 60 g;
  • vanillin or vanilla sugar - to taste;
  • salt - a pinch;
  • chocolate bar - 100 gr.
  • I got 10 buns out of the indicated quantity of goods and just used the entire chocolate bar of 10 pieces. Therefore, if you still plan to pour melted chocolate on top of the buns, take an additional small bar for this.

    Last time I also added a small piece of butter to each bun. But this is also optional. If you decide to try this, then use a little more butter than indicated in the recipe.

    Manufacturing:

    Dissolve yeast and 2 tablespoons of sugar (take from the full amount) in warm milk. Leave for 15 minutes for the yeast to start working.

    Next, add the remaining sugar, including vanilla, salt, flour, butter and knead the soft dough.

    Cover the container and leave it warm for an hour. During this period of time, the dough will increase in size and you can begin to form our buns.

    Very tasty buns with chocolate insides

    This time I decided to create ordinary round ones. Divide the dough into 10 parts. In each we place a piece of chocolate and a small piece of butter (optional), forming round buns.

    If you add a little butter to the filling, it will taste better.

    If you have a chocolate bar with very small slices, place them in 2 pieces. Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with permanent paper and let them rise slightly. I leave them on the open oven door for about 20 minutes.

    During this period of time, the blanks were slightly rounded. Beat the chicken egg.

    And grease them on top with a pastry brush or an ordinary spoon.

    You can also grease it with yolk or milk, or you can just leave it like that. But with my oven, in this case, the baked goods on top do not brown at all, but come out a pale color. Because in order for our yeast buns to look great, I definitely grease the top with something.

    Bake them at a temperature of 190-200 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Be guided by their appearance so as not to burn.

    We take it out of the oven. These are the ruddy donuts that came out, and with the most delicious, chocolate insides. And what a smell throughout the apartment. Consolidation!

    For those who don’t have enough chocolate, as I wrote above, you can melt a small chocolate bar and pour all or several buns on top. You can decorate with sprinkles, coconut shavings or crushed nuts.

    By the way, from this dough you can create not only buns with chocolate inside, but also any others. For example, with raisins, poppy seeds, cinnamon, sweet, or regular.

    Try it and share your impressions. Or maybe you have your own tried and tested recipe? Write about it in the comments, add the page to bookmarks and check back more often, bye everyone.

    • 1/2 tsp salt;
    • 7 grams of dry instant yeast;
    • 250 ml warm milk;
    • 1 testicle;
    • 50 g butter;
    • 2 tbsp cocoa powder;

    Divide the dough in half, add cocoa powder and 1-2 tablespoons of milk to one part to even out the thickness of the dough.

    As a result, you will get two types of dough: regular and chocolate.

    Place the plain dough in a bowl greased with butter, cover the bowl with cling film and leave until risen.

    Separate a quarter from the chocolate dough. Place the remaining dough in a bowl and cover with cling film until it rises.

    Add another 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 2 tablespoons of milk to the separated part. Leave the dough warm under cling film.

    All types of dough should increase in volume by 1.5-2 times.

    After the dough has risen, knead it well.

    Divide any piece of chocolate dough into 4 parts, and divide regular dough into 5 parts.

    Roll out pieces of dough and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This will make it easier to roll out the dough.

    Roll out all the pieces of dough into pancakes approximately 20 cm in diameter.

    Brush the rolled out dough with a little water.

    Assemble a stack of pancakes by alternating between regular, light chocolate and dark chocolate batter.

    Compact the stack of dough and roll it to form an even layer.

    Cut the layer into 8 strips.

    Knead each strip with your hands to open the layers, roll out the dough, fold it, twist it and connect the tails so that it comes out as a ring.

    Place the prepared buns on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper at a distance from each other, cover the buns with cling film and leave in a warm place to proof for 30 minutes. During this period of time, the buns will increase in size by 1.5-2 times.

    Brush the buns lightly with water before baking.

    Bake the buns in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Place a baking sheet filled with boiling water on the bottom shelf of the oven. The steam will help the buns rise better.

    Youtube | Cooking with Ira Khlebnikova

    Lightly grease the finished buns with butter.

    The buns turn out very soft, airy and beautiful.
