Manna with apples

A very tasty cheesecake that will decorate the table and amuse your guests. Ingredients for manna with apples for 2 servings:

  • 3 medium-sized apples;
  • 3/4 cup semolina;
  • 1.5 cups sugar;
  • 2.5 glasses of milk;

It wasn’t even a pie, but, as I was sure then, a real restaurant dessert (I watched the movie and really wanted to be as unique as the heroine; and the girls and I often played for some specific reason at the restaurant...)

In winter, such a pie can be made with jam, but for my taste it’s not the same. At the moment, the freshest berries - thanks to hypermarkets! – available all year round. And I bake berry manna “to suit my mood.”

We will need:

  • 1 cup each of semolina and flour
  • 0.5 cups kefir
  • 100 grams of margarine for dough (type “Pyshki”)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 testicles
  • 2 cups of berries – all of them (if you take cherries, don’t forget to remove the pits)

Subsequence:

1. Clean the berries, wash them and dry them on a cardboard towel. Large ones - cut in half.

2. Fill semolina with kefir.

One fine moment on Sunday morning, I decided to feed my family manna. And - oh nightmare! – it turned out that there were no eggs in the refrigerator. I started thinking about what to cook for breakfast now. I remembered that my mother’s “anti-crisis” notebook was in the closet (adult ladies, remember, you had these - where did you write down the recipes?).

  1. Break the eggs into a bowl and mix them until smooth (do not necessarily beat them).
  2. Then pour in the heated milk, it should be warm, but not hot, mix again.
  3. After this, add semolina, sweet sand and soda or baking powder.
  4. Mix the resulting mass thoroughly. Cover the bowl and leave the dough for 30-40 minutes for the semolina to swell.
  5. Then pour the dough, without stirring, into a greased pan and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 40-45 minutes. We check the readiness of the semolina pie by piercing it with a toothpick or a wooden skewer.

Serve the rosy, baked semolina with milk, after cooling slightly, because the delicate structure of the hot semolina pie is awkward to cut into portions. Children can be offered compote of dried fruits; it is delicious and healthy.

Recipe for manna with milk without eggs in the oven

Let the manna cool slightly and then remove the cake from the mold, decorate the top with sweet glaze or pour over fondant and serve.

It’s easy to make manna juicy; to do this, boil 1-1.5 glasses of fresh milk and pour it on top of the hot manna; the pie, like a sponge, will absorb the hot milk; the center will become juicier and more tender.
