Do you like fried pies? In my family they are on the table almost every week; I cook them with different entrails. Now I would like to offer you a recipe for very tasty fried pies with cabbage and eggs , which are especially popular among my household. The pies turn out soft, fluffy, and do not become stale after cooling and the next day. Try it!

Pour 2 tablespoons of sugar into warm water (the water temperature should be approximately 40 degrees) and stir.
Pour yeast into the water with sugar, mix again and leave the resulting mixture for 10 minutes.
A fluffy “cap” should form on top - this indicates that the yeast has activated.
Sift flour into a bowl.
Add salt to the sifted flour. Pour vegetable oil into the middle of the flour and, gradually pouring in the yeast mixture, knead the dough first with a spoon.
Next, knead the dough with your hands; it should turn out dense, but soft. Cover the bowl with the dough with film and leave for 1 hour in a warm place.
While the dough is rising, you need to prepare the filling. To do this, pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and add finely chopped peeled onions.
Fry the onion, stirring, for about 3-4 minutes, then add finely shredded cabbage to the pan, add salt, ground black pepper and spices, stir.
Pour in water and simmer the cabbage over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes. Place the finished stewed cabbage in a bowl and let it cool. Add finely chopped boiled eggs to the cooled cabbage.
Add chopped dill to the cabbage and eggs, mix and the insides for the pies are ready.
In an hour the dough will rise perfectly (three times).
It needs to be kneaded a little and the dough is ready for making pies.
Divide the dough into 3-4 parts. Roll each piece of dough into a sausage and cut into pieces.
Using your hands, knead any piece of dough into a flat cake, and place 1-2 tablespoons of the inside in the middle.
Make the pie using the usual method. In the same way, make all the pies with cabbage and eggs.
Cover the pies with film and leave them in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
Next, fry the pies in a frying pan heated with sunflower (or other vegetable) oil over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. There is no need to cover the pan with a lid; the pies cook perfectly.

From ordinary and affordable goods, in just an hour with little ones you can prepare the most delicious, satisfying pies from frisky yeast dough. To prepare pies with cabbage and eggs in the oven, we will prepare the necessary products. Wash the cabbage, carrots and onions in running water and peel them.
Ingredients:
For the test:
- Drink – 200 ml.
- Sugar – 30 g.
- Salt – 1⁄2 tsp.
- Chicken egg – 1 pc.
- Refined vegetable oil – 60 ml.
- Dry fast-acting yeast – 10 g.
- Wheat flour – 400 g.
- Yolk - for greasing pies.
For the inside:
- White cabbage – 300 g.
- Medium carrots – 1 pc.
- Onions – 1 pc.
- Refined vegetable oil – 50 ml.
- Boiled chicken eggs – 3-4 pcs.
- Salt and ground dark pepper - to taste.
- Dill and parsley - to taste.
Production time: 1 hour 15 minutes. Number of servings: 6-7. Yield: 12-14 pies.
Manufacturing:
1. In a suitable container, combine the drink, sugar, salt, loose egg, and vegetable oil.
We take refined oil without aroma. You can replace it with high-quality margarine, which must be melted and cooled to a warm state in advance.
Instead of kefir, you can take milk or yogurt and heat it slightly.
2. Gradually add flour mixed with yeast to the kefir and knead the dough. Transfer it to a bowl greased with oil.
3. Place the bowl of dough in a plastic bag, cover the top with a clean kitchen towel and leave on the table for 30-35 minutes. Now let's move on to the internals.
4. We chop the cabbage thinly, having previously freed it from the outer leaves and removed the stalk.
5. We cut the onion into strips, we also cut the carrots into narrow strips or grate them on a coarse grater.
6. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, add cabbage with carrots and onions, move to medium heat and simmer with repeated stirring until cooked.
7. Pour grated or diced boiled eggs and greens into the cooled cabbage. Salt and pepper to your own taste.
8. Stir and taste again for salt. The inside of our cabbage and egg pies is ready in the oven.
9. Lightly knead the risen dough on the table and divide it into 12-14 parts. Roll the dough pieces into balls and let them rest for 5 minutes.
10. We form flat cakes 0.5 cm wide, place each filling and make pies. Place them seam side down on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let them grow a little in a warm place. Cover with film or a clean towel to prevent it from getting airy.
11. Grease the suitable pies with loose yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees in a hot oven.
12. Once they are well browned, take them out and transfer them to a wire rack.
Pies with cabbage and eggs are ready in the oven. Serve slightly cooled with tea, coffee, milk.

Preparing yeast dough for pies in the oven
Making dough for savory pies should begin by heating the milk. Pour two hundred grams into a separate saucepan or a huge enamel mug or ladle and heat slightly over low heat. Remove the milk from the stove and sprinkle dry yeast directly over its surface.
But don’t rush to stir them, otherwise they will gather in small lumps that are impossible to stir later. You need to wait, because after about 15 minutes they will begin to foam right on the milky surface. Now you can stir them well.
Set the butter to melt. Pour the rest of the unheated milk into the large saucepan where the dough will be prepared. Add sugar and salt according to the recipe and stir this mass until it dissolves well. Add eggs, sunflower oil and already softened butter. The whole mass is mixed well.
Yeast and milk, which have already dissolved perfectly, are poured into the resulting liquid. Afterwards, flour is added, but first a kilogram, and the rest is evenly mixed in while kneading the yeast dough. You need to knead for a long time, otherwise the pies will not turn out tasty and light.
When the yeast dough for pies begins to lag behind the hands and walls of the pan, this will be the first sign that kneading can soon be stopped. Then the dough is lightly sprinkled with flour. The pan must definitely be covered with something, for example, a towel. All that remains is to put it in a warm space and wait until it comes up.
Typically, yeast dough for pies rises in the oven within 2 hours. During this period of time it must rise at least twice. At this time, the inside is being prepared.
Preparing the filling for cabbage pies with eggs.
