Cherry pie; ordinary and delicious recipes
Cherry pie - ordinary and delicious recipes
Have a nice day, my valued readers. I am glad to welcome you again to the pages of my own blog - Culinary secrets from Tatyana. And right away I want to ask you - do you like pies? What about cherry pies? For example, I simply adore them. A wonderful combination of sweetness and sourness.
They can be prepared from any type of dough. Moreover, despite the time of year. Both fresh and frozen cherries turn out equally delicious in these pies. I don't use canned berries when baking.
Also, seasoning lovers can add any of their favorite spices to their baked goods. For example, vanilla, cinnamon, etc. You can try combinations of cherry and coconut. And how much space there is for tests!
In my own note, I will give recipes for those pies that I bake quite often for my own household. I hope that you will need them too.
A simple recipe for a quick cherry pie with kefir in the oven
The first number of our program will be a regular kefir pie. But, despite the ease of production, it is eaten almost instantly. After all, it is also chocolate. My kids look forward to baking it every time. An indisputable advantage of such baking is also the speed of production.
Ingredients for Chocolate Cherry Pie:
- flour - 350 gr.;
- testicle - 3 pcs.;
- drink - 200 ml;
- sugar - 250 gr.;
- soda - 1/2 tsp;
- cocoa powder - 1 tbsp. with a slide;
- vanilla - to taste;
- cherries - to taste.
How to make a regular cherry pie with kefir:
First, you should fire up the oven and prepare a baking dish (we grease it with vegetable or butter in advance). Yes, and we remove the pits from the cherries if you don’t want to get rid of them while eating the pie. :))
The pie comes out delicious with frozen cherries too. You can read how to freeze cherries in this article.
Then we pour the drink into a huge mug and throw in soda. Mix well and leave until bubbles form.
Beat the eggs with sugar until they increase in volume. I usually beat just the eggs themselves for 3-4 minutes, and then add sugar and beat everything together for another 4 minutes. It seems to me that this way the cake comes out more fluffier.
Now add the drink, vanillin, cocoa to the consistency and mix everything well. Then pour in the sifted flour (read why to sift flour here) and mix everything well and quickly again. A thin dough comes out.
Pour the dough into the mold and place the cherries on top. The amount of cherries depends on your preference. My little one loves it when there are a lot of berries in the pie.
And send it to bake in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees until done. Baking time depends on your oven, but at least 20 minutes. Check the readiness of the cake with a skewer or toothpick.
This is the cherry beauty that comes out in the end. Bon appetit!
Savory manna on kefir with fresh or frozen cherries
I suggest you prepare one of the manna recipes - with cherries. An indescribably tender pie that just melts in your mouth. Well, not only in the mouth. Disappears from the table instantly. You have to tinker with production longer. :))
Products for cherry manna:
- semolina - 1 tbsp.;
- drink - 1 tbsp.;
- sugar - 1 tbsp;
- flour - 4 tbsp;
- eggs - 2 pcs.;
- soda - 1/2 tsp;
- vanillin - to taste;
- cherry - to taste.
How to cook manna with cherries in the oven:
First, combine all the dry ingredients of our pie in a large bowl, specifically semolina, soda, vanillin, flour and sugar. Mix everything well.
Beat eggs with kefir. Mix the mixture with the dry ingredients and leave to swell for 20 - 25 minutes.
In the meantime, let's take care of the cherries. Wash the berries thoroughly and remove them from their pits.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper and pour half of the dough into it. Place the cherries on top and fill everything with the remaining dough.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees until done. When serving, you can pour condensed milk over the pie or sprinkle with sweet powder. Bon appetit!
Clafoutis with cherries - a French dessert for baking lovers
Unfortunately, I didn’t think to immediately take photos of this breathtakingly tender and delicious pie when I was preparing it. But I will share with you a video recipe for this sweet. This dessert combines a casserole and a pie. You can bake it in small molds for everyone personally.
Closed cherry pie made from shortcrust pastry - a delicious and traditional recipe
I also have a recipe for lovers of shortcrust pastry. It very successfully mixes the sweet dough and cherry sourness. At the same time, it comes out very juicy, soft and crumbly.
Ingredients for shortbread cherry pie:
- flour - 2 tbsp;
- sour cream - 1 tbsp;
- testicle - 1 pc.;
- sugar - 0.5 tbsp;
- butter - 200 gr.;
- soda - 1/2 tsp;
- starch - 2 tbsp;
- cherry - 500 gr.
How to make cherry pie from shortcrust pastry in the oven:
Pour flour and sugar into a large bowl. Quench the soda with vinegar and add to the flour. Mix everything. Add egg and sour cream.
Add softened butter and knead the dough. Separate 1/3 of the dough. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Distribute the remaining dough sparingly into a greased pan. Don't forget to form a side.
Place cherries on top of the dough. Beforehand, it should be freed from the seeds. Then sprinkle the berries with starch.
We take the remaining piece of dough out of the refrigerator and grate it on a large grater over the cherries. We try to fill everything with “shavings” sparingly.
Bake the pie for 45 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Baking time may vary depending on your oven.
We take our rosy magic out of the oven. Let it cool and enjoy this wonderful delicacy. If you wish, you can sprinkle some more sweet powder on top. Bon appetit!
That's all for today. In this collection, I have collected ordinary recipes that are beloved in our family. What kind of cherry pies do you prefer? Write your own recipe in the comments. I’d love to read about your favorite pies.
