Video on how to make blueberry pie from puff pastry
Make yourself a blueberry layer pie. It's simple! It is comfortable! This is wonderful! It's delicious!
Below are the most popular blueberry puff pastry options.
- The speed and ease of making these pies is justified by the fact that puff pastry is used ready-made (purchased).
- With blueberries, there are 2 options: take fresh or frozen. If you have access to good, fresh blueberries, then cook with them - the taste of the pie will be the most intense. In another case, it can be taken frozen, just like the dough.
Good, tasty, etc. But what is convenience? It's simple! We put the berries and a package of dough in the freezer, and when the right moment came, we simply took them out and defrosted them. Roughly speaking, apart from blueberries and dough, nothing will be useful! But it’s still better to add additional ingredients.

How to make blueberry puff pastry pie
- We start by defrosting the berries and dough.
- A baking sheet or baking dish must be greased with oil. Place a layer of dough on it, create sides (walls) on the sides so that the berries do not leak out.
- Thawed blueberries must be freed from excess water (juice) and mixed with sugar and starch.
- Spread the blueberry mixture onto the puff pastry.
- Place the pie in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes. If you plan to bake in a slow cooker, you need to turn on the baking mode and wait about an hour.

Recipe for Blueberry Cheese Pie:
Defrost the puff pastry and roll it out not very thin.
Prepare cream from cottage cheese, yolks!, 4 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla, cream and sour cream - beat everything in a blender or using a mixer.
Place the dough in the mold and make the highest sides.
Pour out the cream.
Then we lay out the berries. We don't regret it! They need to be slightly submerged in the filling.
We cut off the excess dough and place the pie in an oven preheated to 200*C for 10-15 minutes.
At this time, beat the whites with a spoon of sugar into a strong foam.
Take out the pie and brush generously with whipped egg white.
Bake for another 10 minutes.
The result is a very tender, juicy pie, reminiscent of a soufflé.
It “flew away” instantly, without even having time to cool down!
It can also be prepared with any other seasonal berry!
Bon appetit!
