Ham and cheese rolls

I continue to share with you recipes for simple and delicious quick snacks. Now I propose to prepare and test delicious, tender and fragrant rolls of ham, cheese and eggs with garlic. To make this cool snack for us, you will need very little time, and the result will certainly amuse you. Make these rolls in advance, store them in the refrigerator, and then serve them at the reception table so that guests don’t get bored while waiting for the main course.

If you cut the ham and boil the eggs in the evening, you can create such rolls in almost a couple of minutes. On the eve of the Holy Day, this is more than vital, isn’t it, hostesses? Every minute of time is precious, you don’t have time to do anything, and despite all this, you want to overcook everything in the world... By the way, have you already baked Easter cakes or are you still thinking about what specific homemade recipe to prepare them for?

Ingredients:

Making a dish step by step:

The recipe for this typical and delicious snack for us includes ham, cheese, chicken eggs, mayonnaise and the freshest garlic. You can use any kind of ham - for example, I have chicken. The cheese that you like best is also suitable - Russian, Dutch, Poshekhonsky and so on. I always strongly recommend using homemade mayonnaise - it is prepared in minutes. Determine the amount of garlic according to your taste preferences. You can add a little, test and, if necessary, add more.

First, let's put the chicken eggs to boil hard - 9-10 minutes after boiling over low heat, then immediately under cool running water, so that they cool faster and are easier to clean. The ham must be cut into thin slices of similar thickness - preferably no more than 2-3 millimeters. It’s almost impossible to create this neatly at home, so don’t be shy and ask the dealer about it - they have special shredder devices there. It's just that if you cut thicker, the ham will pop and break when twisted.

When the eggs are cooked, peel them and separate the whites from the yolks. Grind them separately on the smallest grater (not for potato pancakes, but with the smallest holes). In the recipe for layered Mimosa salad, I told you how you can make pale yolks colorful and rich yellow.

Now we grind the cheese on a small grater so that such shavings come out.

Add crushed egg whites to the cheese and mix everything.

We make a fragrant sauce, for which we simply mix mayonnaise with the freshest garlic, which we chop using any convenient method.

All that remains is to assemble our snack rolls. Take a slice of ham and spread it with garlic mayonnaise. You don't need much.

Place a mixture of cheese and egg whites on one edge. Naturally, you can immediately mix the filling and garlic mayonnaise, but believe me, adding them separately will make the finished rolls even more tender and airy.

Roll the ham with its entrails into a tight roll. Due to the mayonnaise, the edges will stick together perfectly, but still place it on the seam.

So we twist all the slices of ham with the entrails. All that remains is to decorate them to make them even more attractive and appetizing. To do this, take one roll and dip it from both ends into mayonnaise. Next we place it in the yolks, which themselves stick to the sauce.

In fact, that's the entire recipe. Isn’t it all simple, fast and simple? Place the finished ham and cheese rolls in a heap on a plate and store in the refrigerator until serving.

And later we serve it to guests at the gala table as a cool appetizer while they wait for the main hot dish. The rolls turn out to be very tasty, delicately fragrant - everyone without exception likes them. Try it too, if you haven’t already!
