Prepare the zest and spices. Place all the spices, lemon and orange zest in a saucepan, add sugar and pour in reddish wine. Cook the wine over low heat for about an hour. Stir the mulled wine occasionally with a wooden spoon. If you have a temperature indicator on the stove, make sure that the temperature of the drink does not rise above 75 degrees, otherwise the alcohol will begin to evaporate. After about an hour, remove the pan from the stove, strain the drink and pour into glasses.

Ginger mulled wine

To make it you will need: 50 g of raisins, a slice of ginger, 2 cinnamon sticks of 5 cm, 6 tablespoons of sugar, one lemon, 15 cloves, 3 oranges, 2 bottles of reddish dry wine.

Wash the oranges. Leave one whole and cut the other two into four pieces. The lemon should also be cut into four slices. Peel the ginger and cut in half. Stick cloves into the zest of a whole orange, spreading them moderately over the entire surface of the orange. Place ginger, cinnamon, orange and lemon slices and a whole orange with cloves in a saucepan. Add wine. Place the pan with wine over low heat and add sugar. Stir. Heat the drink to 80 degrees. Do not boil wine under any circumstances. Boil the mulled wine until the light film disappears from the surface. Then remove the mulled wine from the heat and cover the pan with a lid. Infuse the drink for about half an hour, and then pour it into tempered glass glasses.

Coffee mulled wine

To make it you will need: half a teaspoon of nutmeg, 150 ml of water, 6 cloves, a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, a tablespoon of sugar, 2 glasses of wine and 1.5 teaspoons of natural ground coffee.

Pour cold boiled water over the coffee, put it on the fire and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, strain through cheesecloth, and cool. Place all the spices in the cezve, add cooled coffee and put it back on the fire. Bring to a boil, remove the coffee from the heat and steep for 10 minutes. Pour the wine into a heat-resistant container and place over low heat. Heat the wine until the snow-white film disappears from the surface. Then strain the contents of the cezve through cheesecloth and pour into the heated wine. Stir and pour immediately into previously heated glasses. Serve mulled coffee only warm.

To make it you will need: a pinch of cinnamon, 6 cloves, one lemon, 200 g of sugar and 2.25 liters of reddish wine.

Pour the wine into the pan, add spices and put on fire. Heat for an hour, but do not bring to a boil. When the snow-white film disappears from the surface of the wine, strain the drink through a sieve and pour into porcelain cups, and add a slice of lemon to each cup.
