Potatoes baked in the oven in foil

Description of the dish.

Hello, dear guests!

I will tell you how to give an ordinary dish a little extravagance and sophistication. Potatoes simply baked in the oven are a bit boring, but if you add a special sauce to it, then, thanks to the additive, it will become incredibly tasty and fragrant.

The dish itself, in addition to the properties outlined in the last paragraph, has a number of significant advantages.

  • The manufacturing process requires a minimum of ability, effort and time.
  • The calorie content is quite low, so the culinary product can safely be classified as a dietary dish.
  • Quite low cost.

Therefore, I suggest purchasing the necessary products, and then proceeding with the recipe for a delicious dish from the Pro Vkusnyashki website...

Nutritional value of the dish per 100 grams.

Production time: 10 minutes active + 60 minutes in the oven.

Servings: 4 servings (1.2 kg).

Ingredients of the dish.

  • Potatoes - 1 kg (7 pcs).
  • Vegetable oil or butter for lubricating foil - 10 g.

Sour cream and garlic sauce.

  • Sour cream 20% - 200 g.
  • Garlic - 10-15 g (5 cloves).
  • Greens (feather onion, parsley, dill) - 20 g.
  • Salt - 8 g (1 tsp).
  • All-purpose spices or for potatoes - 2 g (1/4 tsp).

Recipe of dish.

Let's look at the ingredients. Carefully wash the potatoes, then wipe them dry with a cloth. Remove the peel from the garlic, rinse the greens under running water and dry on a towel.

You can use sour cream of any fat content, but the higher its percentage, the more nutritious and thick the sour cream and garlic sauce will be.

Preheat the oven to 200 C in advance.

We cut the foil into pieces approximately 4-5 times the size of the potatoes. We stack the sheets one on top of the other in 2-3 layers. Grease the shiny surface of the top layer with oil, place the raw vegetable on it and carefully wrap it so that the foil covers the tuber one hundred percent.

Place the cooked potatoes in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.

Then put the dishes in an oven preheated to 200 C and bake the vegetables for about 50 minutes until soft. More or less time may be needed, depending on the variety, age and size of the tubers.

After about half an hour, you can begin to inspect the readiness - pierce the potatoes with a fork, if it just goes into the pulp, remove the pan from the oven.

While our main ingredient is being cooked, let's prepare a delicious sour cream and garlic sauce. To do this, pass the garlic (15 g) through a press, and finely chop the greens (20 g).

Add herbs, sour cream (200 g), salt (1 tsp) and spices (1/4 tsp) to the garlic bowl, then mix everything thoroughly. The inside of the dish is ready.

Remove the foil from the top part of the potato, make a longitudinal or cross-shaped cut in the tuber and fill the resulting void with sauce (1 tbsp).

We repeat the previously described step with all the vegetables, then return them to the pan and bake in grill mode for about 5-10 minutes until golden brown.

Serve the cooked potatoes directly in foil, this will keep the dish warm longer. It’s better to eat it with teaspoons, carefully removing the pulp and sauce from the skin.
