Crispy waffle rolls with boiled condensed milk in an electronic waffle iron
Crispy waffle rolls with boiled condensed milk in an electronic waffle iron
Here is the perfect and most successful recipe for crispy waffle rolls with condensed milk. There are only four ingredients. My grandmother and my mother baked waffles like these when I was just a child.
- Ingredients:
- Manufacturing
- How to prepare cream with condensed milk
- Will come in handy
- Manufacturing
- How to stuff
Having tried many other recipes, I constantly realize that this option is the best. In terms of the number of ingredients, this is a double portion; a lot of tasty tubes come out.
Ingredients:
-
Cuisine: Russian Type of dish: waffles Production method: in an electronic waffle iron Servings: 30 pieces 1 hour 30 minutes
- butter – 400 g
- chicken egg – 8 pcs.
- sugar – 2 cups
- flour - 4 cups.
Manufacturing
Then we take eggs at room temperature, which must be removed from the refrigerator in advance, and drive them into a deep bowl.
The eggs must be thoroughly beaten using a blender with a whisk attachment or a mixer.
Beat the egg mixture until foamy. I got done in 7 minutes. Add soft or melted butter, sugar and flour to the whipped mass.
Just don’t add the whole amount of flour at once, but add it in 3-4 approaches. Mix the added ingredients well with a spatula until the dough is completely homogeneous.
The dough will come out quite watery. The main thing is to remember that we measure flour and sugar in a 200 ml glass, and we will get perfect waffle dough. The good dough is ready, you can bake waffles. We will bake in an electric waffle iron, which we turn on in advance so that it heats up perfectly. I don’t grease the waffle iron with anything, but just put 2 tbsp in it. dough and close it. There is no need to twist the waffles, because they cook immediately on both sides.
Bake each waffle for approximately 2-3 minutes.
Use a spatula to remove them from the hot waffle iron so as not to burn your fingers.
Another note about the softness of the waffles, if you want the waffles to be soft, then you need to bake them until they are slightly golden brown, and if you want crispy ones, then bake them until they are coffee brown. In other words, the longer the oven, the crispier they turn out, but the main thing here is not to overdo it so as not to burn. We transfer the waffle to a plate, in which we immediately wrap it in a tube. You need to roll them while they are hot; if you do this later, they will break.
This amount of dough yields approximately 30 tubes, which is considered a double portion.
If you need less, feel free to halve the number of items. And now, if you wish, you can fill the tubes with innards, in my case, this is boiled condensed milk. I took the can of condensed milk out of the refrigerator in advance so that it would become more flexible. And using a teaspoon, she carefully filled the cooled tubes.
You can create a lot of delicious wafer rolls just like that.

The recipe is not bad, it worked out for me! Most quickly, the girls mixed up the unit of measurement: water needs 250 ml, not 250 grams. Added much less sugar instead of 250 g 200 g

Wafer rolls with condensed milk
Description of the dish.
Hello, dear readers, welcome to my website!
Now I would like to share with you the recipe for one of my favorite desserts, reminiscent of childhood - waffle rolls with condensed milk.
This fragrant and savory dish was a rare guest in my diet, because not everyone had a waffle iron in Russian times, but when this crispy sweetness appeared on our table, joy knew no bounds, and these moments were forever imprinted in my memory with a solemn color.
Therefore, now, when I want to make a festive, but at the same time homemade dessert reminiscent of childhood, I prepare wonderful crispy tubes with tender insides from condensed milk and butter.
The base of this dish is a batter consisting of only 4 ingredients:
- oil,
- testicles,
- sugar,
- flour.
It’s nothing complicated, but even here it’s easy to “break the woods”, so take your time and follow the proportions correctly, otherwise the finished product may turn out to be very fragile and not curl into the tube that we plan to fill with the second component of this dessert - juicy sweet cream made from milk products.
Next, a detailed recipe for this sweet will be presented with photos and step-by-step descriptions...
Nutritional value of the dish per 100 grams.
Production time: 40-50 min.
Number of servings: 15-17 pieces (1.3 kg).
Ingredients of the dish.
Dough.
- Testicles 1 C - 4 pcs.
- Sugar - 200 g (1 tbsp).
- Premium wheat flour - 280 g (1 tbsp + 5 tbsp).
- Butter or margarine - 200 g.
Cream made from boiled condensed milk and butter.
- Butter - 50-100 g.
- Boiled condensed milk - 380 g (1 can).
Recipe of dish.
Let's prepare the ingredients. An ideal option is if all components have the same temperature, equal to room temperature.
Wheat flour must be sifted before use (I add it through a sieve to the rest of the ingredients).
For the dough, you can use either butter or an economical option - margarine, this will not affect the taste.
If you, like me, being under constant time pressure, forgot to remove the oil product from the freezer in advance, don’t worry and just melt it in a saucepan on the stove or in the microwave.
Beat eggs (4 pcs) until a fluffy airy foam forms on the surface.
Combine butter and egg mixture into a homogeneous mass.
Pour sugar (1 tbsp) evenly into the saucepan, achieving uniformity.
Lastly, add wheat flour (1.5-2 tbsp), mix, the mass should turn out watery, like pancakes (a mixture of 10-15% sour cream).
The dough is ready, let it rest a little.
In the meantime, set our waffle iron to warm up (I have an electronic version). If you do not have a non-stick coating, then before the first use it is better to lubricate its inner surface with butter or vegetable oil.
Place 1-2 tablespoons of dough in the middle of the corrugated sheet, cover the mass with a lid and wait until the mixture finishes sizzling, then count to 5, and the waffle is ready.
In general, baking 1 layer takes about 1-2 minutes, depending on the power and temperature of the device.
The longer the heat treatment time, the more crispy and golden the final product will be; the main thing is not to overcook, otherwise the waffle may burn.
Remove the finished flour sheet from the heating surface with a spatula.
Now the most crucial moment has come - rolling the waffle into a tube. The main thing here is not to hesitate, because in a matter of seconds the flour base will lose its elasticity and become hard and brittle, so you need to create it quickly while it is still hot.
I do this with my hands (even though it’s hot), but there are also special devices for this in the form of sticks and cones, which come with almost all models of electric waffle irons.
Then the finished tubes should cool.
In the meantime, let's get to the insides. To make it, you need to mix butter (50-100 g) with boiled condensed milk (1 can) until it becomes a fluffy, creamy homogeneous mass. I use a mixer with a whisk attachment for this purpose.
At the last step you need to combine the wafer base with the cream.
The easiest way to create this is with a pastry bag (plastic bag or file) with a long cylindrical nozzle, but you can use an ordinary teaspoon to carefully fill the tube on both sides.
It is better to store finished sweets in the refrigerator, if naturally there is something left - this dessert is usually eaten very quickly.

How to quickly and deliciously make waffle rolls without a waffle iron
- We will need a container with a deep bottom where we put together sugar, eggs, milk, butter (after melting and cooling). Mix the contents thoroughly.
- Add flour to this mixture and mix thoroughly until the mixture becomes watery sour cream.
- In the meantime, put a frying pan on low heat to warm it up.
- Distribute one tablespoon of dough into the pan.
- To make our waffle rolls extra crispy, spread the dough in a very thin layer in the pan.
- Fry each side for two minutes
- As soon as the waffle is ready, immediately roll it into a tube so that it does not have time to cool down.
- We do the same with all the dough.
- After all our tubes are prepared, pour our filling inside each one: condensed milk. A culinary or regular package will help us with this.
Well, that’s all, our waffle rolls with condensed milk are ready!
You can freely experiment with the insides, depending on your taste preferences. From my experience I can say with confidence that boiled condensed milk greatly enhances the crispy taste of waffles.
