Video recipe: Apple mousse with semolina
Step-by-step recipe with photos and videos
Moms will definitely like this recipe, because it happens that a child categorically refuses semolina porridge - for example, my daughter did not really adore it as a child, and I prepared various mousses based on semolina for her, while I used seasonal fruits and berries. It’s very convenient to prepare in the evening, pour into bowls, put in the refrigerator, and serve for breakfast in the morning. Be sure to try to create it, you will see that your children will definitely appreciate such a dish. By the way, from time to time I soak cakes with it, it turns out very tasty.
Prepare all the necessary products to make apple mousse with semolina.
First, wash the apples, peel them, cut them into 4 parts, and remove the core.
Next cut into small pieces.
Place the apple pieces in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
Advice! If the apples are sweet, reduce the amount of sand or completely abandon it.
Then add cinnamon. If you don’t like it or doubt that your baby will like it, you don’t have to put it in.
Pour in water, place over medium heat and simmer, stirring, until soft, about 7-10 minutes, depending on the type of apple.
Grind into a homogeneous mass; no need to cool.
Add the semolina and cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes, while doing this, do not forget to stir so as not to burn.
Cool one hundred percent until cool, beat with a blender until a snow-white fluffy mass.
Pour into bowls, decorate with any fruits or berries of your choice.

Apple mousse is prepared very simply and quickly. In addition, the dish turns out to be economical. I advise you to make mousse from greenish apples - it has a great taste. We also need gelatin for the mousse.

- Apples - 250-300 G
- Water – 500 ml
- Sugar - 5 tbsp. spoons
- Gelatin, leaves - 6 pieces
- Vanillin - 1-2 pinches

Tell me, in what amount of water should I soak the gelatin? And how long to beat with a mixer? And chill in the refrigerator until it hardens?
Gelatin leaves come in different sizes. How many grams?
Usually a leaf of gelatin is equal to 3 g of regular one. For 500 ml of water you need 10-20 g of gelatin. With all this, 10 g will give the effect of a “leavening” dessert, and 20 g or more (up to 30) will give a dense one.
The recipe is very tasty, but I have a question. Gelatin leaves - what is it?

Apple mousse is a tasty and necessary dessert that is suitable for both adults and children. Apples, sugar and semolina - that's all that is needed for this dish. The mousse comes out tender and fragrant. It is prepared according to the principle of Finnish whipped semolina porridge (Finnish: vispipuuro).
Sugar-free apple jelly is a healthy and tasty delicacy, for the production of which you only need apples, gelatin and water. The dessert has a distinctive apple flavor and is low in calories, refreshing and satisfying. The jelly does not come out “rubbery”, but with its tender and creamy texture it resembles a very thick apple jam, prepared without a gram of sugar. Try it!
Apple sambuca is an appetizing, light and tasty dessert that even a novice cook can handle making. Prepared on the basis of baked apple puree, with the addition of whipped egg whites and a small amount of gelatin, the dessert comes out airy, tender, porous and light, like a cloud.
An amazingly delicious summer dessert, low in calories, without sugar.
A recipe for a refreshing and airy apple mousse, which is very easy to prepare from affordable ingredients.
As a child, I loved jelly. But this delicacy was very rare on our table. I don’t understand why, but my mother did it occasionally. But at the moment I can make jelly myself whenever I want. Milk fruit jelly is one of my favorite options.
