How to cook pink salmon in the oven juicy and soft

How to cook pink salmon in the oven juicy and soft - this question worries almost all housewives. Often baked fish comes out dry because pink salmon meat is lean, and this can seriously spoil the memory of the dish. When using the dry heat of the oven, you should take a few additional measures to prevent the fish from drying out during baking.

First of all, if your goal is to get a soft, juicy fish, choose chilled pink salmon rather than frozen, because when frozen, the fish may lose its taste and beneficial characteristics. Because pink salmon, like all salmon, is a very delicate fish, it cooks very quickly, so it is important not to overcook it in the oven, otherwise you will have to enjoy dry fish. Pink salmon, depending on size, is baked for an average of 15 to 30 minutes.

To ensure that the fish comes out juicy, before baking it must be greased with a sufficient amount of vegetable or olive oil. To make this task easier, use a special culinary brush. The oil helps the fish stay moist inside during the dry heat of the oven.

Baking pink salmon in duralumin foil not only makes it easier to clean the baking sheet or mold the next time. This method keeps water inside the foil to prevent the fish from drying out. This method also allows you to add different flavors to pink salmon - for example, you can add lemon, orange, various herbs and vegetables to the fish for the best taste. Ground dark pepper, chopped garlic, dill, thyme and Italian seasonings go well with pink salmon. Alternatively, you can use special baking bags, which also allow the fish to remain as juicy as possible. Lubricating fish with oil when baking in foil or a bag will have the best effect on its juiciness and softness.

You can also marinate pink salmon fillets so that the fish comes out juicy, soft and fragrant. Fish can be marinated in oil, vinegar or lemon juice in combination with desired seasonings. Marinating for 30 minutes before baking uncovered is completely fine.

To give pink salmon additional juiciness, you can use sauce - the fish will partially absorb it and become more hydrated. For example, you can make a quick sauce by whisking together regular yogurt, honey, mustard and chopped dill. There is no need to marinate pink salmon in the sauce - just brush it on the top surface of the fish before putting it in the oven. A more common option is to coat the pieces of fish with mayonnaise and bake, which will also give the fish softness and juiciness.

This is interesting to know before baking.

For baking, choose chilled fish. If you still use frozen, then before savoring the pink salmon, carry out the thawing process in the refrigerator. This way the fish will defrost longer, which will preserve its taste characteristics.

For marinating, use a rich, watery base. It can be: cream, sour cream, olive oil, mayonnaise. Fats will help retain water inside, which will favorably affect the juiciness of the pulp.

To add a special flavor to the pulp, use citrus fruits, vegetables or herbs. A successful addition of herbs would be thyme, dill, ready-made mixtures, ground pepper, and garlic. Before cooking pink salmon in the oven, calculate the time it will take to marinate. The supply should be 30-60 minutes on average.

To keep the pulp juicy, use foil. It will also greatly simplify cleaning the pan after baking. A sleeve will also be a good assistant in the baking process without any hassles.

How long to cook depends on the temperature and size of the fish. On average, it will take 15-30 minutes for uncooked pink salmon to come out. You will find recipes for making delicious fish further in the publication.
