I have been baking a lot since I got married, especially after I was given a slow cooker. And so my usual recipe for savory and tender bread was born. Try it, maybe you will like it.

Our forefathers also said that bread itself is a gift from God, and that it is the head of everything. But bread was naturally not baked from wheat flour or baker's yeast, which arose only in the mid-nineteenth century. At that time, bread was unleavened flatbread made from whole grain flour with special leaven (kefir, wheat germ, malt) or without it.

Now almost all nutritionists say that yeast and white flour are harmful to health. They accumulate in the human body, thereby undermining the immune system and weakening protective functions. Yeast fungi multiply in the body at a high speed, devouring the healthy microflora of the digestive tract, which facilitates the penetration of pathogenic microbes into the cells of the stomach, intestinal tract, and into the blood (the internal environment of the body formed by liquid connective tissue. Consists of plasma and formed elements: leukocyte cells and postcellular structures: red blood cells and platelets) , and then throughout the entire body.

  • sugar - 1 tablespoon;
  • butter - 50 g;
  • Drink 2.5% (or homemade yogurt) - 0.5 liters.

How to make yeast-free bread at home:

You need to take a deep bowl and mix two types of flour and rolled oats in it.

Melt the butter in the microwave and mix it well with kefir.

After this, pour this mixture into the flour and knead until the mixture is homogeneous.

You should knead only with your hands and it is better not for long, so that the baking powder does not have time to react with kefir.

Grease the multicooker bucket with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or flour. Lay out the dough, giving it a neat shape. Sprinkle bread crumbs or sesame seeds on top of the bread.

Bake yeast-free bread in a multicooker in the “baking” mode for about half an hour. After the cooking time has expired, carefully (using a steaming bowl) remove the bread from the multicooker.

Wrap the bread in a towel until it cools completely so that it is not wet when cutting.

  1. Sift 400 grams of wheat flour into a deep bowl, add one teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of baking soda, mix with a tablespoon. Place 50 grams of oatmeal and 50 grams of peeled sunflower seeds into this mixture. Mix everything again with a spoon so that the dry ingredients are perfectly distributed throughout the dough.
  2. Let's move on to preparing the multicooker. Lubricate the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil over the entire surface, using 30 ml of the vegetable product for this. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs on top. We do this so that after baking the bread comes off perfectly.
  3. In a separate container, mix 175 ml of milk and 250 ml of low-fat kefir. Mix this watery mixture with the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly with a tablespoon.
  4. Place the resulting dough into the multicooker bowl, already prepared for baking. Close the multicooker lid, select the “baking” mode, and turn on the timer for 30 minutes.
  5. After 30 minutes, when we hear a beep, open the multicooker lid and use the steamer container to turn the bread over to the other side.
  6. After turning the bread over, turn on the multicooker for an additional 30 minutes in the “baking” mode.
  7. After this time, we take the bread out of the multicooker, place it on a flat plate - it is ready to eat. But before eating it, cover it with a clean towel and leave it to cool for another 30 minutes.

Useful tips

  • For yeast-free bread, it is better to use regular oatmeal, and not those that are quickly prepared.
  • Instead of low-fat kefir, you can use low-fat yogurt or low-fat fermented baked milk.
