Almost everyone already knows how to create ice cream. The basic theory is to puree a frozen banana in a blender. The result is a soft ice cream texture. By adding other ingredients, you can even achieve the taste of regular ice cream (if you add coconut milk and peanut butter).
How to make banana ice cream
First we prepare the bananas. They should be perfectly ripe and have a yellowish or brown color. The more ripe the fruit, the more caramelized the ice cream will taste.
Greenish bananas are not suitable because, once processed, they will give a nasty, tart taste to the dessert. Therefore, it is better to leave bananas for 1 day at room temperature so that they ripen.
Afterwards, we peel them. We break it into small pieces. We put it in a container or bag and put it in the freezer overnight (that is, in the dark) .
The preparation for making homemade ice cream is ready. Let's get started.
Transfer the frozen banana pieces to a blender or food processor.
- If you are concerned about the power of the blender, it is better to add 2-3 tablespoons of milk, so the whipping process will be easier and faster (do not overdo it with liquid, otherwise you will end up with a milkshake).
- If you have a powerful blender, specially designed for crushing ice, you can beat bananas without milk. This will result in the thickest mass.
When the mixture becomes homogeneous, the ice cream is ready. You can eat it right away or put it in the freezer for 30 minutes to get the firmest structure of the dessert. This will allow you to put the dessert into ice cream bowls with an ice cream spoon, getting beautiful balls.
This soft serve ice cream can be eaten for breakfast or as a snack. The dessert does not contain fatty (cow's) cream, sugar, or eggs. Suitable for vegans, adherents of proper nutrition (PN), raw foodists and people adhering to a gluten-free diet (Diet is a set of rules for human consumption of food) .

Step by step method:
- Before making ice cream, bananas must be peeled, broken into pieces and frozen.
- Then we transfer the fruits into a blender (add milk if desired) and beat the mixture until a smooth mixture is obtained. If the mixture gets stuck, adjust it manually with a spoon and beat again.
Basically, the dessert is ready. Ice cream can be put into bowls, sprinkled with grated dark chocolate and eaten. Bon appetit!

Vegan Banana Ice Cream: 10 Regular Recipes!
Cat's note: the higher the ripeness of the bananas, the sweeter and richer the banana flavor of the ice cream will be.
FLAVORS 1: EASY BANANA ICE CREAM (BASIC RECIPE)
1. Peel bananas, cut into pieces and freeze them in an airtight bag or container.
Cat's note: I advise you to freeze the whole bunch at once. This will allow you to treat yourself to banana ice cream at any time, or, as happened specifically with me, simply pour some topping or syrup over these frozen pieces of bananas and eat with pleasure.
2. When the bananas are completely frozen, place them in a blender, lightly salt and grind them to a soft ice cream mixture.
Cat's note: if you are afraid for the safety of your own blender or know in advance that its power leaves much to be desired: there are 2 methods to solve the problem. Option 1: just wait 5-10 minutes until the bananas soften on their own. Option 2: add 2-3 tbsp to the blender chopper. milk or water.
3. Place in bowls, decorate as desired and serve. Or for the hardest ice cream, place it in a container with a lid and put it in the freezer for 30 minutes. Savory pleasure!
FLAVORED 2: VEGAN CHOCOLATE BANANA ICE CREAM
To the soft banana ice cream, add ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract, a pinch of salt (if salt was not added previously) and 3 tbsp. cocoa powder (or vegan chocolate). If desired, it will be delicious to add 2 tbsp. peanut butter.
FLAVORED 3: MINT CHOCOLATE BANANA ICE CREAM
Add a pinch of salt to soft banana ice cream, ⅛ tsp. pure mint extract (or more to taste), vegan chocolate chips or cocoa. If desired, tint the ice cream with greenish food coloring, for example spinach, for the most striking greenish color of the ice cream, as well as increasing the amount of nutrients and vitamins.
Cat's note: Personally, I just use the freshest mint leaves without the stems, pureed in a blender. But how do you get mint extract from mint leaves? Wash and dry mint leaves (approx. ⅕ cup), remove stems. Mash the leaves, tear them and chop them with a knife. Place the leaves in a jar, pour 100 ml. vodka and 100 ml. water. Shake and leave for 3 weeks, stirring the tincture from time to time. Strain.
FLAVORED 4: BANANA PEANUT BUTTER ICE CREAM
Add 2-3 tbsp to banana ice cream. peanut butter (or any other nut butter).
FLAVORS 5: BANANA COCONUT ICE CREAM WITH COOKIES
Add 2 tbsp to banana ice cream. coconut oil, 1 tbsp. coconut and crushed vegan cookies.
FLAVORED 6: BANANA ICE CREAM WITH BERRIES
Stir soft banana ice cream with 1 cup of all frozen berries and vanilla.
FLAVORED 7: COFFEE BANANA ICE CREAM
Add a pinch of salt, ½ tsp to soft banana ice cream. instant coffee, vanilla, optional cinnamon and chocolate chips.
TASTE 8: PINA COLADA
Prepare banana ice cream by adding 3-4 tbsp. coconut milk and 1 tbsp. coconut flakes. Add 100 gr. diced pineapples.
FLAVORED 9: VANILLA BANANA ICE CREAM
Mix soft ice cream with vanilla, add vanilla on top.
FLAVORS 10: PISTACHIO BANANA ICE CREAM
Grind 2-3 tablespoons of pistachios with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil and vanilla to the desired mixture. Stir in banana ice cream. Garnish with pistachios on top.

For some reason, lately ice cream has become my favorite dessert, despite the fact that I have become the most phlegmatic towards other sweets. Well, it’s not that she’s completely phlegmantic, but no one is impeccable in this world, right?
The best discovery of the past year was, perhaps, the amazing express ice cream made from chocolate chip cookie sandwiches. It was something! But it was prepared so quickly and eaten just as quickly that, unfortunately, it did not reach your knowledge. This year I promise to tell and show everything.

Let's start with the most common one.
1. Banana ice cream with milk
Regular readers are already aware of this simple recipe. I’m telling you for those who don’t know.

Manufacturing method:
- Peel the bananas, cut them into slices, put them in a container, cover with a lid and put them in the freezer.
- After 2 hours, take out the bananas and puree them in a blender along with 2 tablespoons of milk (the blender should be quite powerful).
- From time to time we collect banana ice cream from the walls of the blender and continue to grind. It took me about 5 minutes (the banana will turn into soft, elastic ice cream).
- All. You can eat the ice cream right away. If desired, you can add nuts, honey, chopped chocolate, etc. I have walnuts and honey.
2. Chocolate banana ice cream
It's hard to tell from this ice cream that there's a banana in it. At first glance it looks like ordinary chocolate ice cream. But in fact.

Manufacturing method:
- Peel the bananas, cut them into slices and place them in the freezer in a closed container for at least 2 hours.

But this ice cream turns out so beautiful if you freeze it already prepared. Well, this is, as they say, not for everybody.
3. Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream
Well, in the end I left my favorite: banana-peanut. It's just a protein explosion. Create for everyone!
List of goods:
- bananas - 2 pcs.
- peanut butter - 2 tbsp.
Manufacturing method:
- Peel the bananas, cut into slices and freeze in a closed container for at least 2 hours.
- We take out the frozen bananas, put them in a blender, add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and puree for about 5 minutes, occasionally collecting the mass from the walls of the blender (the blender should be quite powerful).
At first it will be like that.
By the way, I didn't use peanut butter. At the moment it is not so easy to find without additives. I bought roasted peanuts and crushed them myself in a blender until a paste formed (about 5 minutes). At the same time, I deliberately left small pieces of nuts in the paste. They look luxurious in our ice cream.
I strongly recommend creating this for you: take peanuts and grind them in a blender. It's much cooler this way.
You just can’t imagine that healthy ice cream can be SO delicious! I don’t understand about you, but this is all I’ll be eating all summer now. Well, maybe also yoghurt and fruit sorbets.
