Thank you for the recipe. It worked out for me. The steel saucepan was washed without much effort using a lip and soda. Regarding green stuff, add salt to the water to prevent the shell from cracking. I think painting the shell with green paint diluted in water is completely harmless. Good luck to everyone.
Also curious, is it possible to wash the saucepan later?
Good idea, thanks. I don’t understand people who write about the harmfulness of greenery))) if it’s harmful, don’t do it
Is it really possible to wash the green stuff out of a saucepan? or just to throw away?
For thrush on the tongue of babies - our grandmothers and great-grandmothers lubricated the pacifier with green stuff, and everyone grew up, no one died from it. And almost everyone has grandchildren and great-grandchildren)) There are many unhealthy mothers - this is a diagnosis (medical report about an existing disease) , green stuff is harmful, and chemicals from the store are useful. It's funny from time to time.
Brilliant green (tetraethyl-4,4-diaminotriphenylmethane oxalate) is a synthetic aniline dye of the triphenylmethane series. (Aniline dyes are organic compounds formed by the oxidation of aniline or its salts; they are widely used in histological techniques, they have antibacterial, and some have carcinogenic effects.) Receipt[edit | edit wiki text] Diamond green is obtained only synthetically. The synthesis is reduced to the catalytic condensation of diethylaniline with benzaldehyde; The resulting 4,4'-bis-diethylaminotriphenylmethane is oxidized on a catalyst - most often lead (IV), manganese (VII) or chromium (VI) oxide. The carbinol base thus acquired is dehydrated by heating and, when neutralized with oxalic acid, forms brilliant green [14][18][16]. Toxic effect[edit | edit wiki text] In recommended concentrations when used medically, it does not have an irritating effect [1] [15]. In production conditions, it causes inflammatory diseases (disturbances in normal functioning and performance) of the skin in workers[4]. When using honey, allergic reactions (itching, urticaria) are possible. In case of contact with the mucous membrane of the eye, a burning sensation, lacrimation occurs, and a burn is possible[18][40]. Reception INSIDE. causes diarrhea and pain (an experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage) in the tummy[18][40]. A completely lethal dose for white rats is 0.05 g/kg[4].
There are food dyes. That’s what they are used for, but here CHILDREN eat cracked ones wherever they are on the protein and through the pores of the shell and May holidays on a hospital bed. P.S. I'm looking for a good and safe kitchen. Health and peace to all.
How to paint eggs like marble
Easter eggs are not just painted in different colors - unique patterns on the shells are increasingly found on festive tables. You can create marble eggs - paint them like real granite. Unusual divorces are created using different methods.
Marble eggs with greens and onion skins
Materials and ingredients:
- Eggs.
- Water.
- Onion peel.
- Gauze or wide bandage.
- Zelenka.
- Vegetable oil.
Before starting work, the eggs must be moistened with water so that the husks stick to them better. Then roll each egg in the dry remains of the onion skin. It is necessary that the husk sticks to the eggshell; if everything falls off, you can simply cover it. After this, place the egg on gauze (you can add a little more husk) and tie it. The bag should be tight so that the natural coloring shell is pressed tightly against the surface of the egg. We perform this function with all the eggs, immerse them in a pan of water and put on fire.
Pour the green stuff into the water. The more brilliant green solution you add, the richer the color will be. A whole bottle will give a catchy emerald color, which will be interspersed with yellow-brown spots from the husk.
Once the solution boils, you need to cook the eggs for another 7 minutes.
The finished product should be rinsed in running water and dried.
When using this recipe, you should keep in mind that brilliant green is difficult to wash off from the skin, so it is better to carry out the function with gloves.
If you cut the husks with scissors or grind them in a meat grinder, the end result will be even more beautiful.
Marbled eggs with onion skins (no green stuff)
Materials and ingredients:
- Eggs.
- Peels from snow-white and reddish onions.
- Water.
- Table vinegar.
- Vegetable oil.
- Paper.
- Gauze.
- Threads.
The onion peels must be cut in advance or passed through a blender, or you can simply tear them apart with your hands. We also crumble the paper and mix it with dry onion skins. Before painting, we also prepare the eggs: wash them and wipe them with vinegar. Each egg must be rolled in a breading of paper and husks. For the best adhesion to the shell, you can moisten the eggs in advance.
After this, wrap the eggs individually in gauze so that the bags come out. If you don’t have gauze on hand, old nylon tights are completely suitable. Place the finished bags in a pan of water and set to cook. 10 minutes after boiling, remove the pan from the heat, take out the eggs, and cool them. Under the gauze and husks we will find beautiful eggs with a marble pattern.
Marble eggs - dyeing
Materials and ingredients:
- Eggs.
- Food colorings.
- Onion peel.
- Water.
- Gauze.
The preparation of eggs for coloring in this method is the same as the previous ones: the product must be rolled in onion peels and tied in a gauze bag. After this, the eggs are boiled in ordinary, unstained water.
Coloring begins after cooking. Dilute the dyes in water according to instructions. Place hard-boiled eggs in the same bags in which they were bubbling in the pan into a container with colored water. After the required time indicated on the food coloring package, we take out the product, remove the gauze and rinse.
For another option for creating marble eggs using dye, husks are not needed. Each boiled egg must first be painted in the main tone. Then dilute additional color in a glass and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to it. Place the egg, already colored in the first color, into a glass with the second color and rotate. The brightness of the marble color will depend on the duration of rotation.
Marbled eggs - varnishing
You can also use nail polish to decorate marbled Easter eggs. To do this, add a few drops of varnishes of different colors to a jar of water and mix them. A film with colored streaks will appear on the surface of the water. Place the egg, boiled in advance, into colored water. To avoid getting your hands dirty, it is better to use tweezers or large tweezers. When we take the egg out of the water, the varnish film remains on it. It needs to dry out. This coloring option is more suitable for creating festive decor rather than for consumption as food, since nail polishes are not an environmentally friendly compound.
Marbled eggs - a unique method
The marbled coloring can be obtained not on the shell of the egg, but on its contents. Often this effect can be observed involuntarily when eggs explode when boiled in dye. If you create cracks intentionally, you can get the desired result.
Materials and ingredients:
- eggs;
- 5 bags of dark tea;
- soy sauce;
- cinnamon sticks;
- star anise or anise.
Boil the eggs in clean water, then break the shell slightly to create cracks. You can gently squeeze the testicle in your hands. It is important not to overdo it, otherwise the shell will disappear completely. It is necessary that it stays on the inner narrow film.
Place the eggs in a saucepan with water and put on fire. When the liquid boils, put tea bags, soy sauce, star anise, and cinnamon into the same pan. Cook the product in this solution for half an hour. The dye will penetrate inside through the cracks and leave beautiful stripes on the protein, reminiscent of marble stains. Due to the use of natural ingredients, such an egg will also have noteworthy taste and aromatic properties.
Useful tips
- To combine several colors, you can use the peels of different types of onions - snow-white and reddish - when coloring. Combining the husks with cardboard scraps will help achieve the same effect.
- It is important to ensure that inside the gauze bag the husks do not bunch up in one pile, but are dispersed throughout the shell. You can carefully adjust and move it with your fingers through the gauze.
- Adding salt to the water with the eggs boiling in it will protect them from unnecessary cracking and spreading of the whites.
- If you rub the eggs with vegetable oil, they will get a wonderful natural shine.
It is not difficult to create an unusual decor. The eggs turn out beautifully, they look like real pebbles of the correct shape.

Step-by-step recipe with photos
Marbling is a relatively new decorative technique. Its meaning is that on any surface you can create a beautiful surface with stains reminiscent of marble. At the same time, with all this, all known methods of applying paint are not used - neither brushes, nor rollers, nor spray guns. The coloring of an object occurs by immersing it in water, on the surface of which a special paint floats. Due to the fatty composition, it does not sink, forming a film on the surface of the water, which is used for application - such as stains of fuel oil or machine oil in puddles, remember this picture? The more paints you use, the more colorful the painted surface will be.
I used 4 colors: reddish, blue, gold and swamp green. The colors do not mix with each other, leaving each one with its own unique mark. With a stick, you can draw various patterns and patterns on the surface of the water, which later need to be “caught” with an object, in this case, an egg boiled in advance.
So, let's get started with this exciting process! Take eggs boiled in advance and dry them completely. Prepare paints for marbling (I used German paints Easy marble, Marmarierfarbe).
Boil the eggs, preferably hard-boiled. As always, immerse them in cool water, and then dry them thoroughly with a napkin and dry them in the air - the surface must be completely dry, otherwise bald spots will remain.
Pour water into some unnecessary container (you will have to throw it away later) - the quantity does not play a special role in order to lower the egg halfway.
Pour a little paint, it spreads in the thinnest layer over the surface.
Pour in another paint - my gold one has thickened from storage, my paints are probably 7 years old now.
Make streaks with a stick.
Immerse the egg halfway and place it in the tray to dry. The paint dries quite quickly, but it is better to wait 10-15 minutes before painting the other side. In the meantime, experiment by pouring in and making stains with different colors.
As coloring proceeds, the paint from the surface collects on the eggs, and the surface of the water may turn out to be one hundred percent clean.
Later, dilute the paints again and paint the second side. Pat the eggs dry.
That's all - colorful, unusual colors are ready! You can celebrate Easter!
This egg is a real gift for Easter! You can purchase egg patterns made of wood or plastic at an art store along with paints and paint them for gifts - I think anyone would be happy to receive such a fascinating egg for a holiday.
Marble eggs for Easter in onion skins and brilliant green
Nowadays, more housewives are trying to use natural products, this also applies to painting eggs for Easter. There are several common ancient recipes for coloring eggs without chemical dyes. The most popular method is onion peel; our forefathers used it as the main dye for eggs.
Now, I offer you a step-by-step recipe for unique painting of Easter eggs, with the help of which the eggs will acquire a marbled appearance. All you need for this is: onion peels and a solution of pharmaceutical brilliant green. Dyeing eggs using this method is very easy and quite quick.
This recipe is for those who want to get an original decoration for the festive table and amaze everyone around!
Ingredients:
- testicle – 3 pcs.;
- onion peel - large pulp;
- pharmaceutical brilliant green – ½ bottle;
- water;
- vegetable oil.
Manufacturing method
First, you need to prepare the onion skins, take the chicken eggs out of the refrigerator and degrease them: wipe with alcohol or soap, then the paint will moderately cover the eggs and they will not crack during cooking.
Cut the gauze into squares measuring 15*15 cm so that the egg can be completely wrapped in it.
Cut the onion skins as finely as possible. Pour cool water into another container. Then soak the eggs completely in water and place them in a plate with the husks. It is good to roll the eggs on all sides in the husks and place them in a piece of prepared gauze.
Tie the gauze in a knot or tie it with thread, cut off the edge. Do this with all the eggs. If you don’t have gauze, you can use nylon stockings or tights, they are also excellent for coloring eggs.
Place the cooked eggs in a saucepan with water. Add half a small bottle of pharmaceutical greens. It is important that the eggs are completely covered with liquid. Let the marbled eggs cook for 10-12 minutes.
After cooking, remove the eggs to a plate with dry napkins. Wait until the eggs have cooled, and then carefully remove the gauze from them. Wash in cool water, then wipe dry and grease each egg with vegetable oil until shiny.
These colorful and unique marble eggs will be a great addition to your Easter basket!
