Pear pie in a slow cooker

Pear pie in a slow cooker

Pears, when cooked correctly, have the ability to bring a deep, honeyed flavor to all dishes.

What is a pie in a slow cooker? Beat the dough, prepare the filling, and you can forget about the pie for 30-60 minutes while going about your business.

Using a multicooker, you can prepare any pie with any interior, depending on the imagination of the housewife and the preferences of the household. The pear pie in the slow cooker is especially good. Pears baked with sugar get a honey taste and simply melt in your mouth. And the whipped dough in the closed space of the multicooker rises, doubling its size, and becomes shaggy and tender.

Step-by-step recipe with photos and videos

At the moment, every home probably has this miracle helper - a multicooker, and I got it quite recently, but I wanted it for a very long time, for some reason I always put off this purchase until later. And here my relatives gave it to me for my birthday - my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, which I am incredibly happy about. After all, this technique works wonders: it bakes, fries, boils, bakes, steams all kinds of useful things, and you can deep-fry something. In fact, I’m experimenting with it and haven’t found a single downside yet, and I hope I never will.

Well, now, I want to share a recipe for making pear pie in a slow cooker. Pears grow at my son-in-law’s dacha, well, naturally, he understands that I love them recklessly, and brings me buckets of them, and I cook all sorts of things from them.

✅2. Pear pie in a slow cooker.

dough:
flour – 1 cup
sugar – 1 cup
eggs – 3 pcs
soda – 1/4 tsp.
(quench with vinegar) salt – a pinch
vanillin – 1 sachet

inside:
pears – 3 pcs.
(medium) cinnamon – to taste
cognac – 1 tbsp.

*I took 250 ml glasses

1. Cut the pears into slices.
Drizzle with cognac and sprinkle with cinnamon. 2. Separate the whites from the yolks.
Beat the whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. 3. Grind the yolks with sugar.
Mix in the sifted flour evenly. Add baking soda, quenched with vinegar. At this step, the dough comes out to be quite unusual in thickness, I would say, closer to streusel. Then carefully fold in the whipped whites into this mixture.

Let’s immediately move on to the next step:

1. Place the dough in a buttered MV bowl in a thin layer to cover the bottom.
Place a layer of pears on the dough. 2. Place the remaining dough on the pears.
3. Place the remaining pears on top of the dough.

Turn on the “baking” mode, time 1 hour 10 minutes.
4. During baking, do not open the lid or look in. After finishing the program, we are also in no hurry to open the lid. We wait for 10-15 minutes, and then we can see what happened.

Remove the finished pie from the bowl using a steamer container.
Sprinkle the top with sweet powder.

Preparation:
Beat the eggs into a fluffy foam until white.
You can use a mixer or blender. Grind margarine and sugar separately, add sour cream and mix everything. Add eggs to the purchased dough and mix everything carefully again. It is better to stir in one direction. Mix all dry ingredients - sugar, cocoa, starch and flour - in a separate container. Introduce into the dough in portions, carefully mix from top to bottom with a spoon. The dough will be quite thick. Then at the very end, add baking powder and mix again. Let the dough sit for a little while - about 7 minutes, so that it rises a little and the baking powder begins to work. Place the dough into a greased multicooker bowl and level it out. Wash the pears, remove the seeds and cut into thin slices.
Place on top of the dough, pressing slightly, in a beautiful pattern. Set the "Bake" mode and bake the pie for 80 minutes. When finished, remove the pie from the multicooker using a steamer basket. A pie with pears in a slow cooker comes out airy and juicy from the juice that has been released, and its smell and taste are simply indescribable.

✅4. PEAR PIE IN A MULTICOOKER!

200 g.
sour cream 150 gr.
sugar 1 sachet of vanilla sugar or a tube of vanilla essence
1 sachet of baking powder

This amount of ingredients is perfect for a small 2 liter multicooker.

Beat eggs with sugar and sour cream. There is an opportunity and don’t be lazy, beat with a mixer, the dough will turn out the most airy.

Add flour sifted with baking powder. We achieve a mixture of thick sour cream.

Fluffy, soft pear pie with caramel crust in a slow cooker

I like to make pear pie at the end of August, picking the ripe fruits straight from the tree. It also contains less fat and cholesterol (Insoluble in water, soluble in fats and organic solvents.) than most conventional sweet baked goods. This pie immediately combines the features of a charlotte and a shapeshifter. The dough itself is similar to charlotte based on its manufacturing principle. And the upside down, because its top in the multicooker bowl is essentially the bottom of the pie, while the bottom surface will be the top on which we will create a delicious caramel crust. So, let’s get started with this usual step-by-step recipe with photos and delight the family with a delicious autumn dessert prepared in a slow cooker.

How to bake a pear pie in a slow cooker

  1. Let's prepare the multicooker bowl first, so as not to be distracted later. Grease the bottom with oil. Cut a circle out of baking paper and line the bottom with it. Grease the parchment and sides of the multicooker.
  2. Divide the eggs into yolks and whites. We will beat them separately. Pour 100 g of sugar into a bowl with eggs.
  3. Beat with a mixer until it turns white and grows in volume.
  4. Sift flour and baking powder into this bowl. Mix with a spatula. Most likely, your flour will be different from mine, with different working properties; I do not recommend dumping it all out at once. First put 100 g, and then look at the dough mixture. It should be thick, but not so thick that you can knead it with your hands. Add flour as needed.
  5. Using a mixer or whisk in a deep bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt. When large bubbles form, add 20 g of sugar (1 tablespoon) and beat until stiff, stable peaks form.
  6. Add the protein mass to the dough in three additions. The first portion can be mixed vigorously without fear of dropping the whites. They will make the mass a little thinner, and the other 2 servings of proteins will be easier to introduce. Now we add them carefully, stirring with a spatula from top to bottom with turning movements. This is the most difficult part of making. If you have at least once dealt with whipped egg whites, then you will certainly succeed.
  7. We clean the pears from the skin and seed box. Cut one into slices along the entire length. Others are cubes.
  8. Sprinkle the paper in the multicooker with 2 tbsp. sugar, fan out long slices of pears.
  9. Pour the dough and place the pear pieces on top. In the slow cooker, the cake will rise and the fruit will be inside.
  10. We bake on the “Baking” program. Baking time – 1 hour. But I recommend that after 50 minutes, open the lid of the multicooker and check the condition of the pie.
  11. Cool the finished pie in the slow cooker for 5 minutes. Then cover with a plastic form for steaming in a multicooker and turn the bowl upside down. The cake will end up on the plastic. We remove the paper. Because in a slow cooker, fruits will give juice, it will mix with sugar and caramel will appear when heated. Because of this, the paper may not come off very well. To remove it, take a brush, moisten it with water and run the brush over the paper. When wet, she will lag behind perfectly.

The cooled pie can be sprinkled with sweet powder. The cut is very fluffy, airy and moderately sweet. This is the perfect fall dessert with an easy-to-make, tender cake base and a savory interior of sweet fall pears. And you cooked it in your trusty slow cooker without unnecessary hassle.
