Break the eggs into a bowl, add sugar, vanillin or vanilla sugar. Mix everything well using a blender.

Divide the dough into 2 parts. Sift cocoa into one of them and mix until smooth.

Because the chocolate shortcake will be the basis for the cake, so we bake it in a round pan. The second cake can be baked in any form, because we will cut it.

We also send the second part of the dough into a form covered with parchment paper. We will bake both shortcakes in the oven preheated to 180 degrees until cooked (approximately 20 minutes). We check readiness with a wooden stick or toothpick.

While the shortcakes are baking, prepare the cream. To do this, mix sour cream with sugar and beat until smooth. The cream should be runny, so you can choose sour cream of any fat content.

The shortcakes are ready. Let them cool slightly and take them out of the mold. Remove the uneven top of the chocolate cake and leave the even part. This will be the base of the cake.

Cut the second shortbread into squares. Ours is thinner, which is why we baked it in a larger shape.

We cut the chocolate cake into two parts, coat each of them with cream. Because our cream is not thick and the cakes are slightly warm, the cream is absorbed very well.

We dip slices of light shortbread into cream and place them randomly on top of our base.

Preparing the glaze. Heat the milk and dissolve the sugar in it. Add cocoa here, mix everything well until smooth and boil until the mass begins to thicken. Next, add the butter and stir until the butter dissolves. Can be removed from heat.

Recipe for “Curly Boy Cake”:

Beat the eggs with sugar (you can use a mixer or you can do it by hand), add sour cream, soda, flour, mix everything well. The dough should turn out like thick sour cream.

Divide the purchased dough into two parts. Add 1 tsp to one part. spoon of cocoa and mix well. Place the dough in two baking pans greased with vegetable oil (I have a diameter of 22 cm). Bake the shortcakes in an oven previously heated to a temperature of 180 C for 15 minutes. Cool the shortcakes.

Create the cream: beat the sour cream, adding it evenly, 1 tbsp at a time. Sahara.

Coat the black shortcake with cream. Cover half of the shortcake with banana pieces and half with grapes. You can eat any berries and fruits of your choice.

The Curly Boy cake is quick and easy to prepare. It looks beautiful and tastes very good. For the cake, I bake only three shortcakes. One of them is used as the base of the cake. And the remaining two cakes are cut or broken into pieces, dipped in cream and perfectly placed on top of the base. The pieces quickly swell, absorbing sour cream. So the cake comes out huge, beautiful, with a pleasant creamy taste. Instead of chocolate glaze, you can use melted chocolate. You can also decorate the Curly Boy cake with grated or broken chocolate and chopped nuts.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • Chicken eggs – 2 pieces
  • Sugar – 300 g (1 ½ cups)
  • Sour cream – 350 g (1 ½ cups)
  • Soda – 1 teaspoon
  • Vinegar – ½ teaspoon
  • Flour – 300 g (2 cups)
  • Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoons

Cream:

  • Full-fat sour cream – 400 g
  • Sugar – 200 g (1 glass)

  1. It is better to start making a cake with sour cream. To do this, mix sour cream with sugar. Then beat with a mixer at a leisurely speed for about 10 minutes. The sugar should completely dissolve, and the cream should increase slightly in volume. Place the finished sour cream in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  2. Prepare the ingredients to make the dough.
  3. Pour sugar into a large bowl, add eggs and mix well. You can use a mixer for this purpose.
  4. Add sour cream and stir.
  5. Quench soda with vinegar. Add slaked soda to the mixture and mix.
  6. Finally, add flour and knead the dough for the cakes.

  11. To assemble the cake, you need to dip pieces of sliced ​​cakes into sour cream and place them on the base of the cake in a random order. Then put the cake in the refrigerator so that it is well soaked in sour cream.
  12. Now you need to cook the icing to decorate the cake. To do this, mix all the ingredients and bring the glaze to a boil. Then let the glaze cool until it thickens and use a teaspoon to spread the glaze on top of the cake.
