There is school ahead again, parent meetings, different sections and grades that are excellent and not so good! In general, there are a lot of exciting and entertaining things.

This year we were pleased with the summer because there was a good harvest of berries, vegetables and fruits from the garden. Especially apple trees. This season the branches are all very sagging under the weight of the fruit. There are so many apples today that I can’t even imagine what else can be created from them. After all, we have already rolled up the compote and made jam. Even adjika came with these fruits.

Now I would like to tell you how to prepare delicious puree for the winter. Just imagine that you won’t have to run to the store for this delicacy at all, because your cellar will be full. All you have to do is look into it and take the jar you like. This delicacy is not only healthy, but also incredibly tasty!

My daughters can’t wait for my wife and I to create puree. They just love him. Therefore, let's not pull the cat by the tail, but let's go to the kitchen and create magic!

Apple puree at home - the most common recipe

Any housewife wants to preserve as many vitamins as possible for the winter. Therefore, I would like to say right away that this can only be created with little heat treatment. In other words, fruits should be cooked for as little time as possible. To achieve this, it is better to cut the apples very finely.

Ingredients:

  • Apples – 1 kg;
  • Sugar – 100 gr.;
  • Water – 200 ml.

Manufacturing:

1. Wash the apples and peel off their skins. Then cut it in half and remove the core. Then we cut the fruits into small pieces or cubes. Immediately put them in a saucepan.

2. Fill the contents with water and place the container on the stove. When everything starts to boil, reduce the heat and continue cooking for 20 - 30 minutes. Don't forget to stir from time to time.

3. Now the apples need to be cooled. Then puree the cool ones using a blender, masher or sieve. Pour sugar into the resulting mass and mix. Place the pan back on the stove and bring to a boil.

The sweeter the apples, the less sugar you need to use. Otherwise, you can simply ruin everything.

4. During this period of time, we prepare the jars and lids. We wash and sterilize the bottles. And fill the lids with boiling water.

5. Place the finished hot puree into jars and roll up the lids. Cool and store in a cool, dark space.

Applesauce (sissy) with condensed milk for the winter

This delicacy will appeal not only to children, but also to adults. The puree has a very delicate taste thanks to condensed milk. You can use any apples: sweet or sour. After all, we will still add sugar. Therefore, let's stock up on a huge number of goods to get as much deliciousness as possible.

Ingredients:

  • Apples – 5 kg;
  • Condensed milk – 1 can;
  • Water – 1 glass;
  • Sugar - to taste.

Manufacturing:

1. Wash the apples and peel off their skins. The easiest way to create this is with a vegetable peeler. This way the cleaning will be subtle and the process will be faster. Then remove the core and cut into the smallest pieces. Cubes or thin plastic – there is no difference. The main thing is that they are approximately size 1.

2. Place the chopped apples in a large saucepan. Pour water into it and place it on the stove. Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

After 15 - 20 minutes, you can stir the contents so that the fruit cooks moderately. Because the pieces will actually be ready at the bottom, but still raw at the top.

3. While the apples are cooking, prepare the jars. We wash and sterilize them using any convenient method: in the oven, microwave or over steam.

4. The apples are ready. Now puree them using an immersion blender. We should get a homogeneous mass. It is at this time that you can add sugar. Here, focus only on the sweetness of your fruits.

If the apples are sour, then add half a glass of sugar. This will be enough, because condensed milk is also sweet.

5. Place the pan on low heat again. When the mixture begins to boil, slowly pour condensed milk into it. With all this, do not forget to stir the puree so that it does not burn. Boil for exactly 5 minutes and immediately put into jars. Close the lids and let them cool.

Then we put it away for storage in a cold space.

How to prepare applesauce for the winter at home without sterilization

Usually we select beautiful and tasty fruits for preservation. For our preparation, the external appearance of the fruit is not at all important. Because you can use absolutely any fruit, even very ugly ones. After all, all this can be cut out and no one will find out what exactly we consumed.

Ingredients:

  • Apples – 2 kg;
  • Sugar – 350 gr.;
  • Water – 1.5 cups.

Manufacturing:

1. Wash the apples and remove their skin and core. I decided to throw away the skin. Because it is no less useful than the pulp itself. And the blender will grind it into small crumbs, which will not be felt at all.

Ingredients:

  • Apples – 2 kg;
  • Water – 1 glass.

Manufacturing:

1. First, wash the fruits and peel off their skins. We also remove the core, peduncles and stalks. Cut them into similar small pieces.

2. Pour water into the multicooker bowl and turn it on for heating. When bubbles appear, put our pieces into it.

Applesauce for the winter at home

Sunday, September 6, 2020

We prepare homemade applesauce for the winter according to the usual recipe. Tender, savory and fragrant: serve it with pancakes, pancakes, cheesecakes, cottage cheese casseroles, porridge, or just for dessert. If you have a secure collection of homemade apples, do not be lazy, prepare several jars of this sweetness.

Any fruit is suitable for making apple puree at home: unripe, ripe, soft, carrion. At the same time, the variety is not particularly important. The more sour the apples, the more sugar you should add. True, maybe you like sour puree or make homemade marshmallows? Then you can safely eliminate sugar.

But this recipe needs water. Without it, apple slices (even the juiciest ones) will simply stick to the bottom of the pan. Don’t worry: during the stewing process, excess moisture will disappear and you will get a thick, very tasty apple puree. The spoon will literally stand up!

Ingredients:

Making a dish step by step:

To make homemade applesauce for the winter, we will need the following ingredients: apples, sweet sand and water.

Wash the freshest apples and cut them into random pieces. We definitely remove the seed boxes, and cut off the ugly places, if there are any. I think you won’t use wormy apples yourself.

We put all the apples prepared in this way (2 kilograms is the clean weight) in a thick-walled bowl. I have a 4 liter saucepan with a thick bottom. Add water: depending on the juiciness of the apples, you may need more or less of it. For example, in my case the fruits were not particularly juicy and not completely ripe, so I poured one glass. If you don't add water, the apples will stick to the bottom of the pan, even if they are very juicy. We close the dish with a lid, put it on the stove and turn on low heat.

Stir the contents of the pan every 5-7 minutes so that the apple slices moderately warm up and soften. The time required can be from 30 minutes to an hour - it depends on the variety and degree of ripeness of the fruit.

Add 1 glass (200 grams) of sweet sand, mix and cook under the lid over low heat for another 10-15 minutes.

When the apples are completely soft, beat them with an immersion blender until smooth and homogeneous. If you don't have an immersion blender, press the apple slices through a sieve. In this case, the apple puree will be even more tender.

After chopping, be sure to warm up the apple puree, constantly stirring vigorously, for another 10 minutes. And now you can pack the dessert into jars to preserve it for the winter.

It is necessary to sterilize glass jars and new lids in advance. I like to create this in the microwave and simmer the lids in a saucepan on the stove for 5-7 minutes. We put the still bubbling apple puree into jars to the very top.

We tighten them with screw-shaped lids or close them with ordinary tins using a seaming key.

We turn the jars of apple puree upside down, wrap them in something warm and leave them until they cool completely. You can store homemade applesauce both in the cellar and in a city apartment.

In total, the amount of ingredients indicated in the recipe yields about 2 liters. delicious and fragrant apple puree.

If you have a secure collection of homemade apples, don’t be lazy, prepare a few jars of this tender sweetness. Later, serve it with pancakes, pancakes, cheesecakes, cottage cheese casseroles, porridge, or just for dessert. Cook for your health, friends, and bon appetit!
