Royal salad
What is so “royal” about royal salads? The very name of the dish says that such a salad cannot be prepared for the daily table. But on some holiday you can pamper yourself and your loved ones with such a dish. After all, it combines a huge number of expensive, even, one might say, delicious ingredients, and has a very beautiful appearance.
Royal salad: recipe with crayfish necks
Boil 300 g of small shrimp in water with spices and salt. Cool, clean. Boil half a kilo of squid, boil for 2 - 3 minutes, cool under running water and peel off films, cut into strips. Boil one and a half dozen quail eggs, mash with a fork or grate. Grate Dutch cheese on a large grid. Boil three potatoes in their skins, peel and grate them too. 200 g of canned crayfish necks, strain and cut.
Layer the ingredients on a large plate with lettuce leaves. The sequence of layers - no matter what, according to the desire and mood of the cook, grease any layer with a thin layer of mayonnaise. Garnish the top of the salad with reddish salmon caviar. Let the salad stand for several hours in the refrigerator; the food should be soaked in mayonnaise.
Royal salad with caviar and shrimp
Boil 3 squids; to do this, they must be placed in boiling water for no more than a few minutes, otherwise the product will be hopelessly spoiled, become hard and inedible. Boil 300 g of shrimp separately, add bay leaf and salt to the water. Cut the squid and a pack of crab sticks into strips. The shrimp can be left uncut or cut in half. Grate the Russian cheese, chop or crush a clove of garlic under a press. Mix all the prepared products, add a few tablespoons of reddish caviar, mayonnaise, and mix carefully. Salt may not be useful.
Place the mixture in portions on green lettuce leaves, garnish with dill sprigs and reddish caviar.
We also offer those who like exotic combinations a taste of a salad with pineapple and shrimp.
Royal salad with salmon
Hard-boil 5-6 chicken eggs, chop or grate. Also grate frozen butter (50 g) and 200 g of Gouda cheese. Finely chop 200 g of lightly salted salmon fillet and mix with grated butter. Cut dark canned olives into rings. Chop a clove of garlic and mix with mayonnaise.
Place the salad on a dish in layers, spreading with mayonnaise and garlic. Sequence of layers: eggs, cheese, salmon with butter, olives. Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
We also offer you a recipe for a delicious salad with salmon, which will amaze your guests with its appearance and amaze with its taste.
Royal salad: recipe with chicken
Cut one onion into thin half rings and fry in vegetable oil until soft. Boil two eggs, one carrot and 200 g of chicken. Grate the carrots and mince the chicken fillet. Chop 60 - 70 g of walnuts.
Lay out the ingredients in layers: chicken, nuts, mayonnaise, onion, grated egg white, carrots, mayonnaise, grated yolk. Before serving, let the salad sit for a little while and sprinkle with parsley. The royal chicken salad reminds everyone of the recognizable Olivier salad and can give it good competition on the New Year's table.
And don’t miss the opportunity to try the salad with prunes and smoked chicken. Be sure to save this recipe.
Royal salad with reddish fish
Boil 5 hard-boiled eggs, grate. This will be the first layer of salad. Lubricate it with mayonnaise, to which finely chopped garlic has been added. Grate “Russian” cheese, approximately 200 g, place in the next layer, also grease with a thin layer of mayonnaise. Cut 200 g of lightly salted reddish fish into narrow strips and place on top of the salad. Pour chilled and quickly grated butter onto it, about 50 g. The next layer is 50 g of chopped dark olives, chopped parsley. Place the dish in the refrigerator. Pepper, salt - to taste.
These are the different methods you can use to prepare the Royal salad; you can choose the recipe with photos yourself, based on your own taste preferences and culinary mood. Happy making and next tasting!
