The number of chicken hearts in this dish can vary depending on preference, but it is better to use a lot of them rather than a lot less.
Stewed potatoes with chicken hearts in a multicooker can be prepared in advance on this day and left in the “Keep Warm” mode, or stewed immediately for two days and reheated before serving in the “Heating” or other cooking mode such as “Stewing”, also setting the time and temperature with the function “Multi-cook”.
I suggest ground paprika and garlic as spices, but you can add spices to your own taste. Think about what tastes better or what you would like to try this simple dish with: paprika, garlic, curry mixture, lemon zest, hot or aromatic peppers.
To stew chicken hearts with potatoes, prepare the ingredients according to the list.
Chicken hearts must be thoroughly washed, cleaned of films, fat and veins. Usually they sell hearts that are already cooked. Decide how much fat you want to cut off: cut off all, remove part of it, or let it be as much as possible.
Turn on the “Frying for 10-15 minutes” mode and first lightly fry the finely chopped onion and crushed garlic. Lightly salt.
Then add chicken hearts, fry everything together and simmer in the released juice.
Turn on the “Extinguishing 1 or 1.5 hours” mode. Add ground paprika and potatoes, cut into large cubes.
Pour in boiling water in an amount of 1 glass, or rather, so that the water reaches the potatoes or even hides them.
Simmer until the potatoes are cooked and the hearts are soft.
Stewed potatoes with chicken hearts in a slow cooker is ready.
Serve it with the freshest chopped herbs (dill, basil, onion.).

Do you cook chicken hearts or avoid them as an obscure and incomprehensible product? If you avoid it, then it’s in vain and it’s time to try them!
I have already tried a huge number of recipes for chicken hearts: I cooked them both in a frying pan and in the oven, with various sauces, but this recipe turned out to be the most successful. Soft potatoes, hearts, and all this in a creamy sauce with the smell of fresh herbs!

Hmmm, it certainly doesn’t look like the reviews about multicookers, in which they write that you just need to cut everything up, put it in the multicooker, and then. Wait for the allotted time, during which she will prepare everything herself. So everything can be prepared without it.
Your family is lucky, you spoil them with various goodies
yes, we have a small family: me, my mother and her nurse :))) just now I freaked out at night, I treated them for a week. pea soup, babka-potatoes, poultry stew and Moscow-style fish with potatoes and mushrooms in sauce. but I must admit, when frying in a frying pan, the fish began to fall apart in front of my eyes (((sad, the smell is appetizing, but it looks. :))
Well.
I couldn't sleep again. prepared for myself a lover. Victoria, I think I succeeded in your dish - I looked closely at the potatoes (the mashed potato did not transform into mashed potatoes), and at the end I added a pinch of greens and reddish pepper (sweet) to give and highlight an even more delicate taste.
) and, usually, hodgepodge. just take a photo, but photos and words will not convey that symphony of aroma and taste. it's something with something. :)))
A very tasty photo . And the fish, even if it falls apart, still remains a tasty fish. Well done, Sergey!
How deliciously you describe it – “a symphony of smells.” Besides, I didn’t have breakfast, I’m not allowed to read such things.
Wow, I like this approach better!
Good recipe. Thank you! I fried the onions in a frying pan and the hearts too. Later in the slow cooker. 30 minutes in simmer mode. Sooooo delicious. Added 12 herbs seasoning and paprika. And without sour cream, but more cream. It turned out great!
Hearts with potatoes in a slow cooker
I don’t understand why, but I like to cook various dishes from offal. Firstly, it’s delicious, and secondly, it’s fast and useful. Some of them are not even very expensive compared to meat. For example, after defrosting a tray of chicken hearts, you can simply cook something tasty for dinner and go about your business.
I will not tire of repeating that our multicooker greatly simplifies the preparation of dishes. As a young mother, this saucepan is very comfortable for me. Quite often it turns out that I set her to cook while I go for a walk with the child. Having worked up an appetite, we come home and a hot lunch or dinner awaits us in the slow cooker.
We can talk about this topic for a long time, but now I would like to share with you a recipe that we really liked. Chicken hearts and potatoes in the slow cooker came out tender and fragrant. I ask you to come to the table, as they say, to try our dish!
Chicken hearts with potatoes in a slow cooker
Ingredients:
- Chicken hearts 500-700 g,
- Potatoes – 1 kg,
- Onion – 1 pc.,
- Carrots – 1 pc.,
- Salt to taste
- Spices to taste
- Water,
- Vegetable oil for frying.
Manufacturing process:
First, let's prepare vegetables and hearts for the second course in a slow cooker. I wash the hearts and fill them with water so that the blood clots just come out (the internal environment of the human and animal body) .
In the meantime, I take the onions, peel them, cut them and put them in the multicooker bowl, into which I add oil. And I set the mode to “baking”. The onion is fried for about 5 minutes, and in the meantime I peel the carrots, wash them and grate them (if desired, you can cut them into strips). I also send it to the onions for frying. The hearts lay in the water, we clean them. We remove large light vessels. It is more difficult to work with frozen hearts; if you simply rinse them with water, blood clots (the internal environment of the human and animal body) may remain inside, which is not at all better.
The vegetables are fried, we send raw chicken hearts to them. Using the same mode, cook everything together for another 20-5 minutes.
Meanwhile, peel and wash the potatoes. Cut into cubes or strips and add to the fried ingredients.
Sprinkle everything with spices to taste, salt, and you can add a bay leaf. Pour water. Here I won’t tell you how much water to pour directly. It all depends on what mixture you like to serve three times the dish, in the form of a hot or thick soup.
If you like hearts with potatoes like in my photo, then add water or broth to half the level of the potatoes (when you have already mixed everything). Reset the “baking” mode, again for 50 minutes. During the process, we do not forget to stir once or twice. We are waiting for a signal.
If you do not want to watch the action, then select the “quenching” program. Then in this case all the water remains in the multicooker, and the potatoes will turn out with sauce.
Place the hot dish of hearts on plates and serve.
The creator of the recipe and photo is Svetlana Kislovskaya. The dish was prepared in a Panasonic multicooker with a power of 670 W.
Bon appetit and good recipes!
You can also make a very tasty salad from the hearts.

The model of my Skarlet multicooker, 940W capacity. She is quite ordinary to manage. We will cook in the Frying-Stewing mode; in this mode, food cooks most quickly. You must choose which cooking mode you use yourself, because any technique has its own characteristics. Having learned all the ingredients, I add a little water so that the products do not burn and the results are more tender and stewed. The main advantage of making it in a multicooker is that during production there is actually no need to use vegetable oil or a small amount.
Ingredients
- Chicken hearts – 500 g.

How to cook chicken hearts stewed with potatoes in a slow cooker
We wash the offal under running water and cut off the tubes. You don’t have to cut off the fat, we will need it for gravy and it won’t evaporate much during frying.
Cut the hearts into small round pieces. And if you are in a hurry, you can cut them crosswise into two halves, which will make them much faster.
Turn on the multicooker in the “Frying” mode for 50 minutes, pour in vegetable oil and add chopped onions and offal. Season immediately with salt and spices.
Fry for 10 minutes, with the lid open. During this period of time, the fat will melt; if you want to get a dish without fat, then fry longer.
Cut the potatoes into thin round slices and immediately add them to the hearts. The thinner you cut it, the faster it will cook.
Here we pour water, add sour cream, salt and mix. Add salt to taste, taste so that the dish does not turn out bland. Close the lid and simmer until tender, approximately 40 minutes.
Once the dish is prepared, serve it to the table. Before serving, you can sprinkle with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
