With ice. And this is a couple (I’ll tell you) that they can’t live without Coke.
This is the only drink that goes
perfectly with our strips!

In a nutshell, what are strips: this is the global brainchild of “KFC”,
pieces of chicken meat in the deepest breading. From the deep fryer.

Our recipe will be a little more difficult, a lot of dishes will be needed, but
in general it will all take half an hour.
Everything is simple, everything can be understood from the photographs.

Take 5 sausages, be sure to boil them,
put three cheese in a deep bowl (it’s better so that it can melt), beat in one egg,
sour cream (4 spoons) and cut the sausages into small cubes.
The smaller the better.

Add the sifted flour and mix everything into the mixture.

Prepare separately: flour, two beaten eggs and breading.
Prepare the frying pan: add sunflower oil to the bottom.

Separate a huge plate with cardboard towels.
We form the cutlets with wet hands, quickly into the flour, then into the egg and
then into the breading. Breaded generously!

We bake for almost 30 seconds on one side and 30 on the other.
Over medium heat and in a very hot frying pan.
A grill pan will be even more attractive.

Ready!
Place on paper towels, wait a few minutes, remove the towels with any remaining oil.
Well, now, cool Coke and captup.

It turns out either 7-8 large “cutlet-strips” or a dozen
small ones.

Strips like in KFC - a hot snack for a large group

Strips are a very popular dish on the KFS menu, which are pieces of tender, snow-white chicken meat in a crispy breading. The difference between this fast food and nuggets is in the manufacturing method and size. The nuggets are made small and breaded in breadcrumbs before frying. The strips are cut into long strips and several breading methods and special coating technology are used.

The calorie content of the dish is on average 290 kcal per 100 g and depends on the ingredients. Spicy foods have fewer calories. In this article, we will look at how to prepare strips at home step by step without any difficulty, so that they are very similar to the original.

Unique strip recipe like KFC

This is an excellent snack not only for loved ones, but also for friends in a warm company. An excellent combination of spices, an appetizing crust and an attractive smell of meat will not leave anyone indifferent.

  • 3.5 cups wheat flour;
  • 1/2 cup milk;
  • 900 g chicken fillet;
  • 0.5 l sunflower oil;
  • One testicle;
  • Approximately 2 huge spoons of herbal mixture (oregano, curry, basil, ginger, garlic) - optional, or regular chicken seasoning;
  • A small spoon of reddish hot pepper (optional);
  • 3 tablespoons reddish ground sweet paprika;
  • Large spoon of salt.

Recipe for strips as in FSC:

  1. Defrost the poultry fillet and cut it into thin pieces (2x8 cm). This is the size of the unique blanks;
  2. Prepare the sauce in a deep bowl: mix the egg with half a glass of milk and beat. You can use a mixer;
  3. Add 0.5 cups of flour, a large spoonful of paprika and salt. Beat until thick sour cream. If the mixture is watery, add flour, if thick, add milk;
  4. Place the pieces in the dressing for soaking for a couple of minutes;
  5. For this amount of fillet, this process will need to be done twice: pour hot pepper (for a spicy version), 1.5 cups of wheat flour, a tablespoon of paprika, a mixture of herbs to taste into a strong plastic bag;
  6. Grasp the bag with your hand and shake vigorously;
  7. Pour half a liter of oil into a deep frying pan (or saucepan). While it is boiling, take 6-7 chicken pieces from the mixture, put them in a bag and shake. 1 package is enough for about twice, later you need to create another one with literally the same composition;
  8. Place the slices in boiling oil, which should completely cover the meat (but can be crushed with a fork). Fry on all sides for about three minutes, remove with a slotted spoon, and transfer to a paper napkin;
  9. While the first batch of chicken is fried, shake the next batch in the bag.

From 900 g of poultry fillet, you get strips like in KFC in the amount of 4 servings of 6 pieces each. This culinary masterpiece is served with tomato or mustard sauce.

You can create an unusual seasoning from horseradish and sour cream:

  1. Place thick sour cream (400 g) in a deep container;
  2. Add to it three huge spoons of prepared horseradish and chopped fresh dill, add salt and stir.

To create special hot strips, you need to add one or two teaspoons of hot, hot ground reddish cayenne pepper to other seasonings.

Chicken strips with corn flake breading

If you keep the meat longer in the marinade, it will be more tender. That’s why these homemade strips have a crispy crust and are very juicy on the inside. It is better to use a deep fryer for frying - this way the chicken will absorb less oil.

  • 400 g corn flakes;
  • 2 egg whites;
  • 2 small chicken breasts;
  • A glass of flour;
  • A small spoonful of red pepper, dark pepper, dry garlic;
  • A tablespoon of wine vinegar;
  • Salt, sugar - to taste;
  • Glass of water;
  • A liter of sunflower oil.

  1. Let's make the marinade. In a deep bowl, pour two huge spoons of sunflower oil, a glass of water, sugar and salt (about a teaspoon each), wine vinegar, half a portion of dry garlic and peppers;
  2. Cut the fillet into thin slices, then in half so that you get oblong pieces;
  3. We put them in the marinade, stir, cover with a lid, marinate for at least two hours, but ideally all night (that is, in the dark) ;
  4. Let's make the breading. Mix the remaining dark and reddish pepper, garlic and two whites;
  5. Pour flour into a separate bowl, add salt, mix;
  6. Chop the unsweetened corn flakes not very finely. You can place them in a plastic bag and walk over it with a rolling pin, or use a blender (so that not flour comes out, but pieces);
  7. We independently dip each piece into the egg white, into the flour, again into the egg white and into the cereal breading;
  8. The future chicken appetizer can be deep-fried or in a deep frying pan on each side for three minutes until golden brown. In the frying pan, the chicken pieces should be completely submerged in oil. To remove excess fat, place the food on a paper towel.

The dish is served with mayonnaise and ketchup, with various sauces.

Spicy strips

This dish is prepared quickly and easily. It will greatly amuse your guests with its piquancy.

  • 50 g soy sauce;
  • 700 g chicken fillet;
  • Spicy herbs (tarragon, rosemary), spices, ground pepper and salt - to taste;
  • A small spoonful of apple cider vinegar and dry garlic;
  • Breadcrumbs - “by eye”;
  • 3-4 eggs.

Cooking chicken strips at home:

  1. Cut the bird into pieces of equal width;
  2. To create a marinade, mix apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, pepper, herbs, and add salt;
  3. Place the chicken in the mixture and leave for two hours;
  4. Let's prepare the ingredients for breading: break the eggs into one container, add salt and pepper, pour flour into another, and breadcrumbs flavored with dried garlic and chicken spices into a third;
  5. Place the pieces alternately in each bowl and fry them on all sides in sunflower oil. There must be a sufficient amount of it.

Place the finished products on a paper towel to get rid of excess oil.

Snack with sesame seeds

The presence of sesame is the main difference from the unusual FSC recipe. This seasoning gives the food a pompous appearance and a special taste.

  • Chicken fillet – 400 g;
  • Flour – 3 huge spoons;
  • Poultry spices, salt;
  • 2-3 testicles;
  • Sesame - “by eye”.

Recipe for homemade strips with photos:

  1. Cut the meat into oblong pieces;
  2. Mix the flour with spices, add some salt, and coat the chicken well in the breading given to us;
  3. Dip the semi-finished products in the previously beaten egg, roll in sesame seeds;
  4. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes.

Place the food on a beautiful platter and garnish with lettuce leaves. You can serve the fragrant dish with French fries and any dressing you like.

Oatmeal snack

How to create strips so that they are crispy and tasty, and capture the hearts of real gourmets?

  • Chicken fillet – half a kilo;
  • Oatmeal – approximately 300 g;
  • Hard cheese – 200 g;
  • Soy sauce – 50 g;
  • Spicy herbs and seasoning for chicken, salt to taste;
  • 2-3 eggs.

  1. Mix soy sauce with herbs and chicken seasoning;
  2. Marinate the poultry meat, previously cut into similar pieces, in it and leave for 2 hours;
  3. After this time, grate the hard cheese on a small grater, pour the flakes into a separate bowl, and beat the eggs with salt;
  4. Let's dip the slices according to the following scheme: egg, cereal, egg, cheese. Immediately fry it in hot oil in a frying pan.

Before serving, garnish with lettuce leaves or herbs.

Ingredients

Chicken fillet – 500 g

Paprika – 1 tbsp. (+1 tsp)

Ground ginger – 1 tsp.

Ground garlic – 1 tsp.

Seasoning for chicken – 1 tsp.

Hot pepper - to taste

Vegetable oil - for frying

Salt and pepper, h.m. - taste

Step-by-step recipe with photos

Prepare all the necessary ingredients to make KFC-style chicken strips. Rinse the chicken fillet and pat dry.

We will marinate the fillet in the spices that can most often be found in similar recipes. Place all the spices in a deep bowl, break the hot pepper finely, add a generous pinch of salt and dark pepper, pour in half a glass of water, and stir the marinade. Add all spices in small teaspoons.

Cut the chicken fillet into thin slices. The thinner you cut it, the faster it will marinate and fry.

Place the fillet in the marinade and leave for 30 minutes.

Mix flour and a tablespoon of paprika.

Dredge marinated strips in flour.

Place them in a colander and shake off excess flour over the sink.

Quickly lower the breaded chicken into a large pot of water. As soon as bubbles appear on the surface, lift the colander and let all the water drain.

Dredge the chicken in flour again.

Deep fry for 3-4 minutes over moderate heat. Lift one strip with a fork or slotted spoon until the breading becomes golden brown and crispy - everything is ready. Do not keep for a long time, otherwise the chicken fillet will become dry and the breading will become bitter.

Place strips on paper towels to remove excess oil.

KFC chicken strips are ready. Serve immediately with your favorite drink, sauce, fresh vegetables and herbs.

On the outside it is very similar to the original, only tastier)). Have a nice one.

Chicken strips “KFS”

The highlight of the recipe is that it produces a 1-in-1 crispy crust with the original. It's quick and easy to prepare. I used several recipes online to make my own.

Ingredients for “KFS Chicken Strips”:

  • Chicken fillet (breasts) – 900 g
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 3.5 cups.
  • Chicken egg - 1 piece
  • Sweet paprika (reddish ground) - 3 tbsp. l.
  • Seasoning (herbs for poultry) - 2 tbsp. l.
  • Milk - 0.5 cup.
  • Salt - 1.5 tbsp. l.
  • Red hot pepper - 1 tsp.
  • Sunflower oil – 0.5 l

Production time: 60 minutes

Recipe for “Chicken strips “KFS””:

This recipe differs from almost all others in that it does not contain breadcrumbs. They are not necessary!

To begin with, the chicken fillet is defrosted and cut into thin pieces, approximately 2 by 8 cm - like the unique strips in Rostiks.

Make the sauce in a mixing bowl: break an egg, pour in half a glass of milk, and start whisking. While whipping, add half a glass of flour (a little more is possible), a tablespoon of salt and a tablespoon of paprika. Whip until it becomes liquid sour cream; if it is liquid, add flour; if it is thick, add milk.

Place the chicken in this sauce. Let it soak.

I needed to do the following function 2 times for 900 g of chicken fillet.
If you have half a kilo of it, then 1 time is enough. So, we take an ordinary plastic bag for breakfast. Add 1.5 cups of flour, hot pepper (if you need a spicy option), and a tablespoon of paprika. A mixture of herbs is added to taste. Rostix claims there are 11 of them, but apparently the exact proportions are unidentified. You can take the following: curry, ginger, oregano, basil, garlic. I used the usual chicken mixture. The package is clamped with your hand and shakes.

Place a deep frying pan (saucepan) on the stove. Pour 0.5 liters of sunflower oil into it. You need a lot of oil. Better pour more. On my Electrolux stove I set the heat to 7 out of 9.

While the oil is boiling, take 5-7 pieces of chicken that are in the sauce and throw them into the bag. Shake the chicken in the bag so it coats with our consistency. The 1st package was enough for me 2 times, after which I made another one with the same consistency.

Throw the chicken pieces into the almost boiling oil. It’s great if the oil completely covers the chicken. If not, it’s better to crush it with a fork. I did this: the chicken was fried for 3 minutes, then I turned it over with a spatula, after another 3 minutes I closed it with a lid for 2 minutes, and then took it out. While one portion of chicken is fried, shake another portion in the bag.

900 g of chicken is 4 servings of 6 pieces. If you create everything correctly and do not overcook it, you will get exactly the same crust as in KFC Rostiks - with cereal and quite large.

You need to literally select the taste of the breading, experiment with herbs - maybe you’ll get a better taste than in Rostix.

My admiration and gratitude to the creator. This was the first time I tried this recipe. Well, there was no way to recreate CFS strips before. I tried a lot of recipes. This one is simply “one to one.” My husband is a connoisseur of them. I just marinated the breast (for several hours) in mustard + soy sauce, so I added less salt later.
