Zucchini in flour and egg is the most common traditional recipe. A fairly satisfying dish, at the same time, ordinary and quick to prepare. This recipe is an excellent “help out” when guests are on the doorstep, also for a huge company - an excellent economical option. My grandmother often cooked this way, so for me it’s still a “taste of youth”) I’m sure that almost everyone cooks this way, I, in turn, posted a very familiar recipe with step-by-step photos.

Ingredients for “Zucchini in Flour and Egg”:

  • Zucchini (medium, young, then there is no need to cut off the skin. If they are large and hard, then it is better to cut off the top.) - 4 pcs.
  • Chicken egg - 7 pcs
  • Wheat flour / Flour (I recommend sifting) - 7 tbsp. l.
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) - 7 tbsp. l.
  • Salt - to taste
  • Dark pepper - to taste

Recipe for “Zucchini in flour and eggs”:

Wash the zucchini, remove the stalk and cut off the perianth on the back side;

Cut into circles, lay them out on a board to make it easier to add salt and pepper;

Place in a bowl;

Drive the eggs into one bowl, beat them lightly, add a little salt and pepper;
– sift the flour into another bowl;

First you need to roll “our circles” in flour, then dip them in beaten egg

Pour vegetable oil into a large frying pan and
fry over medium heat until golden brown on the sides;

Turn over and fry for a couple more minutes.

We are preparing a huge dish where we will place the prepared zucchini. I recommend covering it with a cardboard towel so that excess fat is absorbed into it.

It would seem that everything is so simple. But I have problems with such zucchini - either the flour begins to burn in the frying pan, or the batter thickens due to the flour getting there and falls off the zucchini. That’s why I fry either egg or just zucchini. I guess I don't understand any of the subtleties, and this recipe doesn't mention such details either. And the zucchini is very tasty, of course!

We think that every self-respecting housewife always has eggs in her refrigerator, and if you are also thoughtful and thrifty, then you will also find vegetables. In this case, the young zucchini will come in handy. In season, this beautiful vegetable in every way should not leave your table. Moreover, people have invented a huge number of dishes with his role!

And so an egg as a protein in combination with a tender, light zucchini is what is needed to start a good day. We suggest, without bothering for a long time, to prepare a fairly easy, actually dietary dish called: fried zucchini with egg.

  • Zucchini – 1 pc.;
  • Chicken egg – 1-2 pcs.;
  • Mixture of peppers - to taste;
  • Salt - to taste;
  • Dill – 2-3 sprigs;
  • Vegetable oil - for frying.

Manufacturing

To make our dish we use young zucchini. You can find them purely visually - its length should be no more than 16-18 cm. Remember, the smaller the size of the zucchini, the younger it is.

Huge “old” zucchini are full of coarse seeds inside and are therefore not ideal for making fried zucchini with eggs.

When purchasing, also pay attention to the skin - it should be smooth, slightly glossy and, of course, without obvious damage. Freshly picked zucchini can be found by its tail - it should not be wilted.

Well, that’s probably all the aspects that need to be taken into account when choosing delicious children.

Let's start cooking. We wash the zucchini and thinly remove the top layer from it. Then cut the zucchini lengthwise into three parts. Next we cut into strips and turn these strips into small cubes. This size will allow you to quickly prepare our dish.

Place the frying pan on the fire, heat it up, pour a little vegetable oil and add the pieces of zucchini there. We begin to fry them over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Make sure that the zucchini does not burn and is only slightly browned. This will take from three to 5 minutes.

In the meantime, we will prepare the next participant in our dish. Take a chicken egg, break it into a bowl, add salt and pepper and whisk quickly with an ordinary fork. You need to beat it well.

And if you have a little milk in your refrigerator, then add it to the egg in the amount of one or two tablespoons. The dish will only benefit from this!

We would like to suggest introducing freshly chopped dill as well. Well, if this is not the case, you can add dry fragrant herbs or a little garlic.

With the freshest young garlic you get good fried zucchini in eggs.

We return to the frying pan with zucchini. They have already acquired a beautiful golden color, which means it’s time to introduce the egg-dill mixture into our dish.

Pour the zucchini sparingly over the entire surface. Cover the frying pan with a lid and leave to cook over low heat.

In approximately 5-7 minutes the dish will be ready. Cooking time depends on the thickness of the ingredients laid out. In our case, the volume of the frying pan is larger, you can use much less.

  • 2 tomatoes;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 bell pepper;
