Quick and tasty sausages in dough in the oven. Step by step recipe
1. Mix warm milk (38-40 degrees) with dry yeast. Add melted (not hot!) butter, salt and sugar, mix again.
2. Add some flour and knead the dough.
Mix on the work surface, adding more flour; the dough should not be stiff, but should hold its shape well (not spill). Cover the dough with a bowl and leave for 7-10 minutes until it becomes as homogeneous as possible. In the meantime, you can preheat the oven.
3. Divide the dough into 9 parts and create a ball from each. Cover with a bag or cling film so that a crust does not form on top.
4. Roll out a narrow rope from each piece of dough and wrap the sausages with this rope, leaving a distance between the dough. Roll the sausage again as shown in the video. In this way, the dough is distributed sparingly throughout the sausage.
5. Grease the top with yolk and bake the sausages in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until golden brown. It takes about 20 minutes and you're done! The sausages are tasty, the dough is not dry and fluffy. Cook with pleasure!

- A tablespoon of sugar;
- Testicle;
- About 450 g flour;
- Dry yeast in a bag (11 g);
- Yolk;
- 250 ml milk;
- 50 g butter;
- 12 sausages;
- Salt - to taste.
Sausages in yeast dough:
- Heat 100 ml of milk (but do not boil), add a teaspoon of sugar and a package of yeast, wait 15 minutes until a “cap” of foam appears;
- Mix the remaining sweet sand and salt, add the egg and stir;
- Heat the remaining 150 ml of milk and combine it with the yeast consistency. Melt the butter until it becomes watery and pour it in. Add flour and knead the dough;
- We divide the resulting flour mixture into 12 round logs, any of which is twisted into a flagellum, equal in length to two “sausages”. Using a rolling pin, roll out into flat ribbons. The ideal thing is to roll out a huge and narrow cake, and then cut it into twelve strips;
- We wrap them around the future fast food in a spiral. Place it on a baking sheet with parchment paper laid in advance, or greased with sunflower oil;
- Brush the sausage dough with yolk diluted with a small spoonful of water, let it “rest” for a few minutes, and then place it in the oven.
We bake culinary magic in the oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.
Option without yeast on kefir

- We definitely squeeze the edges of the pies so that the fragrant sausage juice does not leak out during the frying process, and give the semi-finished product a neat shape;
- Fry in a frying pan over medium heat, constantly turning on all sides until crispy.
These “hot dogs” made with kefir without yeast turn out delicious and crispy.
Bread machine recipe
This option will greatly appeal to lovers of the fluffy mass around the “sausages.” Therefore, if you have a bread machine at home, preparing an airy dough will not be difficult.
- Large spoon of sugar;
- 1/4 l kefir;
- A teaspoon of salt;
- 350 g flour;
- 100 ml vegetable oil;
- 11 g dry yeast;
- 14-15 sausages;
- Egg for lubrication.
Step-by-step recipe at home:
- Place all the ingredients from the list (not counting the eggs) into the bread machine;
- Let’s use the “Pizza” or “Dough” modes;
- The smart device will independently make a test mass, let it brew and rise perfectly;
- When the required amount of time has passed, take out the “bun” from the yeast dough, cut it into 15 parts, roll out thin long ribbons about 5 cm wide, with which we wrap our sausages slightly overlapping, in a spiral;
- Place them in a baguette mold (it must be included with the bread maker), brush with egg, and leave to “rest” for 17-20 minutes;
- Then we put the pan in the oven on the “Baguette” mode.
But almost all housewives prepare only a yeast dough base in the oven, and bake the products themselves in the oven.
Puff pastry for lazy sausages in a slow cooker
Puff pastry requires a specific rolling method. The sheets are rolled out very thinly (2-4 mm), the most important thing is that they should not tear. You can also use store-bought ready-made semi-finished products (yeast-free and yeast).
- Drink – 200 ml;
- Premium flour – ½ kg;
- Creamy spread – 400 g;

- Roll out the dough into a flat square, put the butter in the center, then mold it into an envelope and glue the edges;
- Then we roll out the dough layer in the shape of a rectangle, the reverse edges of which are glued to the middle. Cover and wait another 30 minutes;
- Later we repeat the previous actions: roll out and fold. Remove again to cool for half an hour, and the semi-finished product will be ready;
- After time, we roll out the product thinly and cut it into strips in which we need to wrap our future “hot dogs”;
- Grease the bottom of the bowl with a small amount of creamy spread (or use baking paper), place semi-finished products in the bowl on the “Baking” / “Frying” mode, set the time to 40 minutes.
Turn the sausages in the puff pastry over from time to time to prevent them from burning.
Appetizing sausages in yeast dough with cheese
This is simply an all-purpose dish that you can give to your child at school, have as a snack at work, or enjoy it with friends over a cup of tea.
- 30 g sweet sand;
- 10-12 sausages;
- 10-11 g dry yeast;
- 300 ml milk (fat content 2.5-3.5%);
- A pinch of salt;
- 50 ml sunflower oil;
- 150 g of hard cheese (“Dutch” or “Russian”);
- 480-500 g flour;
- Testicle;
- Yolk for lubrication.
- Heat the milk slightly (leave a spoon for greasing), add an egg, add salt and sugar;
- Mix flour with yeast, add to the milk mass, then add butter;
- Let's knead the yeast dough, put it in a warm place, and give it time (one hour) to rise;
- Then we roll it out using a rolling pin, cut it into strips in which we will wrap future “hot dogs.” With cheese it will look different: put a piece of cheese on the test layer, then a sausage;
- This can be created using an unusual method: the test ends are cut, which, when intertwined, cover the cheese and the “sausage”;
- Grease a baking sheet with butter and place the prepared semi-finished products;
- The sausages in the dough with cheese should stand for 15 minutes, then place them in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees.
Cook for 25 minutes until lightly browned, brush with yolk, which needs to be beaten with a spoonful of milk. Bake for another 5 minutes and our homemade sausages in dough can be served for a savory meal.
