Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 2 pieces;
  • Canned pineapples – 180 grams;
  • Cheese – 90 grams;
  • Mayonnaise – 35 grams;
  • Dark ground pepper - to taste;
  • Salt - to taste.

Step by step recipe

  1. We take the chicken fillet out of the refrigerator in advance. The meat must be at room temperature. We do the same with pineapples, cheese and mayonnaise.
  2. Place cling film on a cutting board and chicken fillet on top of it. We cover it on top with the other edge. Carefully and without much effort, use a kitchen hammer to beat the meat. Thanks to the film, it will not tear under impacts. We do the same with the second fillet.
  3. Salt and pepper the chopped pieces on top, on both sides. You can add other spices to taste.
  4. Grate the cheese separately on a medium grater.
  5. Chop the canned pineapple rings into pieces. If the fruit is consumed in cubes, no preparation is required.
  6. Take a heat-resistant baking dish into the oven and place the chicken fillet in it.
  7. Coat the top of the meat with mayonnaise. A fairly thin layer will prevent you from getting a dry dish.
  8. Distribute the pineapples moderately over the chops, but move away slightly from the edges.
  9. Place a portion of grated cheese on top of the pineapples. There is no need to feel sorry for him
  10. We send the workpiece to the oven, previously preheated to a temperature of 180 degrees. Baking time – 35-40 minutes. You can tell if it’s ready by looking at it: a golden brown crust is a sign of readiness.
  11. The dish must be served hot. For aesthetics, you can use lettuce leaves. In principle, chicken with pineapple and cheese is a self-sufficient dish, but it can also be supplemented with a hearty side dish, for example, potatoes or vegetables. Bon appetit!

My favorite chicken dish is oven-baked chicken thighs with pineapple and cheese. You don't need to take whole chickens for this. This dish can be prepared from any part of the chicken, as long as it contains a lot of meat and not a lot of bones - thigh, fillet, etc.

While we lived in the country of little blue chickens, it’s unlikely that anyone had the opportunity to prepare fried chicken legs, wings or chicken fillets with hot sauce for the holiday. For the usual reason: there weren’t many chickens and it would have taken a long time to collect wings for the dish. Here were the most affordable dishes - fried chicken, tabaka chicken and soup. Another thing at the moment - I went into the store, here are the wings for you, here are the paws, here is the broth set, here are the feathers and beaks. Choose, smell and buy. Definitely smell it, don't take it.

The combination of juicy sweet exotic fruit and chicken meat came to us from the east. But today it has become very popular in European cuisine. Cooking chicken with pineapples in the oven is quick and easy. Such a treat will be a perfect roast for a gala table.

Traditional recipe

Serving meat according to this recipe is delicious not only hot, but even cool.

Ingredients:

  • half a kilo of poultry fillet;
  • 70 g hard cheese;
  • salt;
  • half an onion;
  • clove of garlic;
  • a regular can of pineapple rings in syrup;
  • mayonnaise;
  • fragrant herbs.
  1. The fillet is not cut, but only washed with cool water and beaten well with the blunt side of a knife.
  2. The preparations are immediately salted, sprinkled with seasonings and laid out on an oiled baking sheet.
  3. The top of the meat is coated with mayonnaise.

  • mayonnaise;
  • 220 g hard cheese;

  1. Potato slices (1/3 of the total quantity) are laid out in one layer on an oiled baking sheet. It is important that the vegetable is sliced ​​very thinly, otherwise the baking time will increase noticeably.
  2. Small pieces of chicken, sprinkled with pepper and salt, are laid out in a second layer.
  3. Next comes the potatoes again.
  4. Other layers: pineapple cubes – potatoes – grated cheese. The outer row can be lightly sprinkled with fruit syrup.
  5. The products are filled with the consistency of mayonnaise and lightly beaten eggs. You should add salt to the potato layers to taste.
  6. The treat is baked for 45-55 minutes.

You need to check the readiness of the dish based on the softness of the potatoes.

With pineapple and cheese

The cheese creates an appetizing crust on the surface of the treat. It also prevents the layers of the dish from drying out.

Ingredients:

  • a jar of pineapple rings in syrup;
  • 950 g boneless breast;
  • mayonnaise;
  • salt;
  • 320 g hard cheese.

  2. Thinly sliced ​​horizontal pineapple rings are placed on top. Beforehand, you need to drain the liquid from them.
  3. All that remains is to create a thick mayonnaise mesh and generously sprinkle with grated cheese. The more of it there is, the tastier the dish will be.

Chicken with pineapple and cheese is baked in the oven at 200 degrees for 45 minutes.

With added mushrooms

Of the mushrooms, it is best to choose the freshest champignons. It will be quite insignificant to take them.

Ingredients:

  • champignons – 270 gr;
  • 450 g poultry fillet;
  • small fresh pineapple;
  • reddish onion;
  • several feathers of green onions;
  • salt;
  • a pinch of turmeric, sweet paprika and dry garlic.
  1. The mushrooms are cleaned, the tip of the stem and the skirt are removed, after which they are cut into 4 parts.
  2. The onion is chopped into thin half rings.
  3. The peeled fruit is cut into small cubes.
  4. Chicken fillet is chopped into strips.
  5. All prepared ingredients are placed in a bowl, sprinkled with salt, seasonings, and also sprinkled with some oil. After thorough mixing, the ingredients are poured into the sleeve and left to marinate for half an hour.
  6. Next, the dish will be baked in a hot oven for 35-45 minutes.
  7. About 10 minutes before cooking, you can cut the bag and allow the food to brown.

The treat is served with finely chopped onions (you can use stewed tomatoes and peppers).

Chicken with pineapple, tomatoes, onions and cheese

Despite the huge number of ingredients, this dish is prepared simply and quickly.

Ingredients:

  • large poultry breast;
  • 4 tomatoes;
  • half a can of canned pineapple;
  • onion;
  • salt;
  • mayonnaise;
  • 70 g hard cheese.
  1. The breast is cut into small pieces, any of which is beaten and salted.
  2. Tomatoes are cut into thin rings, and onions into cubes.
  3. Hard cheese is grated with the largest divisions. Its quantity can be increased according to your own taste.
  4. The cooked meat is placed on an oiled baking sheet. Small slices of pineapple are sprinkled on top of the breast. It’s easier to take chopped canned fruit right away.
  5. Meat and pineapple preparations are generously greased with mayonnaise. Next go the tomato rings and onion cubes.
  6. Top the fillet with the remaining ingredients with grated cheese.

Chicken with pineapple according to the chosen recipe is cooked for about 25 minutes in a perfectly preheated oven. A temperature of 200-210 degrees will be enough.

In a slow cooker

If the housewife does not have the ability to use the oven, she can turn to the “smart pan” for help. It doesn’t matter which device model is suitable, but it is best to choose the one that has a special “Pilaf” mode.

Ingredients:

  • 430 g poultry fillet;
  • 1 regular can of pineapple rings in syrup;
  • 5 huge spoons of mayonnaise;
  • 230 g hard cheese (you can use sharp cheese);
  • salt;
  • a mixture of fragrant herbs.

  1. The chicken is defrosted, washed well, dried with a cardboard towel and cut into small pieces. The bird can be immediately salted and peppered to taste.
  2. First, cooked pieces of chicken are placed in the bowl of the device, greased with some oil. Small pineapple cubes are sprinkled on top. The juice remaining in the jar can be poured over the chicken for greater juiciness.
  3. The cheese is grated on a coarse grater and sprinkled on top of all other ingredients.
  4. All that remains is to generously grease the surface with mayonnaise.
  5. In the “Pilaf” program the dish will be baked for 35-45 minutes.

To taste, you can replace mayonnaise with full-fat sour cream or unsweetened yogurt. It is also very tasty to combine your chosen sauce with chopped garlic and various ground seasonings.
