  • tablespoon (20-40 g) butter,
  • half a glass of milk (non-fat),

It is possible to get by with mozzarella, but a mixture of cheeses such as mozzarella, parmesan and emmental in an amount of 100-150 grams of each will be most appropriate and will give the dish a bouquet of brightest aromas.

Let's move on to regular production without alcohol.

First, you need to pour the milk into the cocotte maker (fondue maker) and heat it over low heat. At this time, grate the cheeses on the smallest grater available.

Add the cheeses in small portions to the heated milk and stir constantly. Then, crush or finely chop the garlic and carefully mix with the egg yolks. Then add it to the cheese mass and mix until the mixture is homogeneous.

Also add oil (although, to be honest, it is possible to do without it, which is more pressing for those who are meticulous about calories).

Add finely chopped or grated mushrooms (to taste) to the cheese mixture and stir so that they do not stick together and are moderately distributed.

After adding all the ingredients, add salt and spices to taste.

The fondue preparation time is 20-30 minutes. And the indicated ingredients are enough for a serving for 6-8 people.

Italian fonduta goes amazingly with mushrooms or fresh vegetables, cut into small pieces. Dip bread and boiled potatoes. Their pieces are strung on sticks and dipped into fondue.
