And thanks to the fascinating process of cutting potatoes, you will certainly create this culinary masterpiece using this method more than once. Don’t forget that any fresh vegetables that can be presented in the form of salads go very well with pork and potatoes. For example, this time I served carrots in Korean style, and last time I ate them with pickled cucumbers and tomatoes. In general, this dish goes down with a bang with any appetizers.
Baked pork in the oven along with potatoes can be the signature dish of any party or dinner. Even at a holiday it will be in great demand.
Apart from this, you can simply prepare such a hearty delicacy and treat your own household on any day off. After all, the meat comes out in the oven very tender and juicy, and the vegetables, soaked in its juice and smell, will taste simply wonderful.

Ingredients:
- medium-sized or small potatoes - 8-10 pcs.
- pork meat - 500-700 g
- onions - 1-2 pcs.
- salt and pepper - to taste
- seasoning for pork - to taste
- seasoning for potatoes - to taste
- sour cream - 2 tbsp
- adjika - 1 tbsp
- vegetable oil - 1 tsp
Peel the potatoes and remove the skins from the onions.
Next, cut the potatoes into half rings or circles. or better yet, as I show in the photo below or demonstrate in the video in the form of flowers. First, cut any fruit lengthwise into bars in one direction, and then in the same way in the other.
Here's an original way to cut all the vegetables:
Chop the onion into half circles with a kitchen knife. Pour vegetable oil over the cooked potatoes and sprinkle spices and seasonings on them.
Cut the pork chops into small pieces in the form of cubes.
In principle, you can take any kind of meat; beef and even chicken are excellent. But still, when choosing pork, take the best one: loin, ham or neck and shoulder. All other parts are quite fatty and, accordingly, will release a huge amount of fat (or there will be a lot of lard) and you will be able to feel a nasty taste.
Use seasonings at your own discretion; you don’t have to use them at all if you are a true gourmet of traditional recipes. I use spices for pork (a ready-made set that I buy in the store).
For piquancy, use sour cream and adjika, these two ingredients will make the dish unique. Add them and stir the pieces in a bowl to marinate. If you have time, then leave the cup with the contents to stand for 30-60 minutes on the table under the lid or cling film. If it is not there, then nothing terrible will happen; you can move on to the next step of work.
Grease the bottom of the baking dish with vegetable oil and place the potatoes around the perimeter.
Then add the meat and onions. If you want, chop the onion finely, I like to do it this way.
Cover the mold with foil and wrap it up. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees in advance and only then place the dish. Bake the pork and potatoes for about 1-15 hours until it is completely ready. If you like a crispy crust on top of your vegetables, you can remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 220 and bake for another 15 minutes.
After the required time, I took out this beauty, from which there is an incredible smell. And immediately the appetite is worked up. As they say, everything is ready and waiting for tasters.

Pork with potatoes and mushrooms in the oven (recipe with photos)
- Pork - 400 gr.
- Mushrooms (champignons) - 150 gr.
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Potatoes - 5 pcs. (medium size).
- Mayonnaise - 100 gr.
- Salt, seasonings - to taste.
- Greens (dill, parsley) - half a bunch.
- Butter or vegetable oil - for greasing the mold.
First, cut the meat into layers and beat it well with a kitchen hammer.
Place the pork pieces on a greased rimmed baking sheet or in a special baking dish. Season the meat with salt and spices. Or line a baking sheet or pan with foil.
Next, turn on the oven, setting the temperature to 200 degrees. While you fill out the pan, the oven will preheat to the appropriate temperature.
Now prepare the vegetables and mushrooms. Cut the mushrooms, like the potatoes, into thin slices. Chop the onion into half rings or chop into cubes. Finely chop the greens with a knife.
Place chopped onions on the pieces of meat, first separating the half rings with your hands.
Place the mushrooms evenly in the next layer and sprinkle them with salt and chopped herbs.
Cover the contents of the mold with a layer of potatoes, salt again and sprinkle with spices. Coat the potato layer with mayonnaise.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 40 minutes. To ensure that the potatoes are properly baked, I advise you to cover the baking sheet with foil or a lid if you are cooking in a baking dish.
If you want to get a golden brown crust, after half an hour of cooking, remove the foil and sprinkle the contents of the container with grated cheese. Then place the pan back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
After the discussed time, the meat and potatoes in the oven with mayonnaise will be ready. You can check the readiness of the dish using the usual method by piercing the potatoes with a fork. If the potatoes are soft, remove the casserole and divide into portions.
Pork with potatoes in the oven in foil
- A piece of pork - 250-300 gr.
- Potatoes - 3 pcs.
- Garlic - 3 cloves.
- Tomato - 2-3 pcs.
- Cheese - 100 gr.
- Spices and salt - to taste.
Pork baked in the oven is prepared simply. Cut the potatoes into cross-sections and boil them until tender in salted water for 15-20 minutes. Coat the washed piece of meat with salt and spices, then make deep cuts on it. Do not cut all the way so that the accordion comes out. Also add a little spice inside the cuts. Later, cut the cheese, garlic and tomatoes into thin slices. Insert one slice of each ingredient inside the cuts. Place meat on foil. Place boiled potatoes around the meat. Wrap all ingredients in foil.
Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 40 minutes. Due to the fact that the meat is baked for 40-45 minutes, you don’t have to boil the potatoes, but cut them thinner. It's up to anyone to like it here. To create a golden brown crust on the surface, 10 minutes before cooking, open the foil and put the pork back in the oven for another 10 minutes. After the designated time, remove the foil with the contents from the oven, transfer to a plate, and serve.
Pork with potatoes and cheese in the oven recipe with photos step by step
- Meat - 300 gr.
- Potatoes - half a kilo.
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Mayonnaise - 100 gr.
- Vegetable oil - for the mold.
- Cheese - 150 gr.
- Seasonings and salt - to taste.
Beat pieces of meat with a kitchen hammer and season it with salt and seasonings. Let stand covered for half an hour. Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables by cutting the potatoes and cheese into thin slices and the onion into half rings.
Place the meat on a greased baking sheet or baking dish.
Place onion cut into half rings on the pork.
Place potato slices on top, lightly salt, sprinkle with spices, and cover the potatoes with cheese slices.
Place mayonnaise on the cheese and spread it with a brush over the entire surface.
Bake the dish in an oven previously heated to 200 degrees for 45 minutes. Bake under foil for the first half hour, then remove the foil and bake without it for the rest of the time. In this case, you will get a perfect crust on the surface of the dish. You can also cook this dish with tomatoes, which you cut and place in an even layer on the potatoes, under the cheese.
Pork with potatoes in a sleeve in the oven
- Pork fillet - 300 gr.
- Potatoes - 4 pcs.
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 2 cloves.
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon.
- Lemon - half.
- Salt, seasoning - to taste.
- Greens (parsley, dill) - a quarter of a bunch.
First marinate the meat. It must be washed and divided into pieces. Later, add chopped herbs to the meat, pour in soy sauce and the juice of half a lemon. Also add diced onion and chopped garlic to the bowl with the meat. If you decide to marinate with soy sauce, then add little or no salt at all. Soy sauce itself is quite salty. Season with spices and stir. You need to marinate the meat for 30-40 minutes.
There is another method of marinating meat. Instead of soy sauce, use mayonnaise, which contains vinegar. That’s why you don’t need to add lemon juice. Choose the method of marinating meat that suits you best.
Turn on the oven at 190-200 degrees. Cut the potatoes crosswise into round or semi-round slices. Place the pieces in a cup, salt and season with spices.
Mix potatoes with meat and place the mixture in a baking bag. Place the sleeve, laid on a baking sheet or frying pan, in a preheated oven. Don't forget to pierce it in several places with a toothpick, as described in the instructions! This measure is necessary so that during baking the sleeve does not burst due to swelling.
Bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour. To brown the ingredients, carefully cut the sleeve at the top. Continue baking for another 5-10 minutes.
If desired, diversify the dish by adding other vegetables. Such as carrots, tomatoes, eggplants or zucchini. They literally will not spoil the taste of your food.

Ingredients:
- Pork – 1 kg
- potatoes - 1 kg
- marinated champignon mushrooms – 200 gr
- onion - 1 piece
- hard cheese - 100 gr
- salt and dark pepper to taste.
Manufacturing method:
We wash the meat, and then cut it into small cubes and place it on a baking sheet.
Chop the onion into small pieces and place on top of the meat. Salt and pepper to taste.
Next, cut the potatoes into strips, place them on top and add a little salt.
Now open a jar of canned mushrooms, drain all the liquid, put it on the potatoes and spread a layer of mayonnaise over the entire surface.
All that remains is to sprinkle grated cheese on top and place in an oven preheated to 220 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

- dried marjoram - 1 tbsp. l

Manufacturing method:
We wash the pork, cut off the film, veins, cut into medium pieces and place in a bowl.
Next we peel, then cut the onion into half rings and transfer it to the meat. Add salt, ground pepper to taste, two types of mustard, raspberry vinegar (if you don’t have it, you can use lemon juice), mix well and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into medium cubes and carrots into half rings. Combine them in a deep bowl, sprinkle with dried marjoram, lightly salt and ground black pepper and pour in sunflower oil. After that, mix thoroughly.
After the meat has been marinated, combine it with seasoned vegetables, mix and transfer to a baking bag.

- salt, pepper and spices to taste.
Manufacturing method:
1. Cut the pork meat into three equal parts, just like chops, beat with a special hammer and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices.
2. Peel the potatoes and onions and cut them into slices approximately 5 mm wide.
3. Fold the foil in two layers, grease it with vegetable oil and place three onion slices on it.
