If you are in a hurry to get to work, but you need to quickly and satisfyingly feed your family, then you will need this recipe. I suggest making cheese flatbreads, which are perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or as a hearty snack. Cheese flatbreads are prepared in a matter of minutes and eaten even faster.
Let's take the following ingredients: drink, salt, sugar, soda, baking powder, sunflower oil, wheat flour, hard cheese, butter.
In a deep bowl, mix a drink of any fat content, salt, sugar, sunflower oil. Mix with a whisk.
Add the smallest amount of flour. Mix.
Add grated hard cheese. Mix.
Pour in the remaining flour, leaving a little for dusting. Knead the dough into a soft dough that sticks to your hands very slightly.
Divide the dough into four parts and roll out a not very narrow layer. Prick with a fork or lightly press the layer with a curly knife.
You can fry with sunflower oil or in a dry frying pan. Heat the frying pan and place a layer of dough. Make a small fire and cover with a lid. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
Cheese flatbreads are ready in 5 minutes. Grease each flatbread with butter on both sides. Let's bring it to the table.

Sometimes you want to cook something frisky and tasty, and from a small selection of available goods. Frisky cheese flatbreads in a frying pan are just such an option. The recipe is very simple, preparing them is incredibly simple, and the result will pleasantly surprise you.
These thin cheese cakes turn out to be very soft and tender - the main thing is not to stuff the dough with excess flour. You can use any kind of cheese, hard or semi-hard. Do not pour a lot of oil into the pan during frying so that the cakes do not come out greasy. It is better, if desired, to grease the prepared ones with butter.
These flatbreads with cheese can be eaten as a snack, used as pita bread, wrapped in their filling, or as bread for first courses. You will definitely like them!
Ingredients:
Making a dish step by step:
To prepare cheese cakes in a frying pan, take a drink, wheat flour, hard or semi-hard cheese, salt, sugar, baking soda and refined vegetable oil for frying.
Pour salt, sweet sand and baking soda into a drink at room temperature. Mix everything thoroughly.
Grind the cheese on the smallest grater.
Add cheese to the drink and mix everything.
Then add sifted flour - 200 grams. We will leave the other 50 grams for rolling.
Quickly knead the soft, slightly sticky dough.
Divide the dough into balls of similar size. I got 5 pieces. It is best to let the dough rest for a short time (about 5 minutes) so that the gluten begins to develop and the dough rolls out easier.
Sprinkle the table with flour and roll out any piece with a rolling pin into a narrow flat cake, about 4-5 mm wide. Shake off excess flour.
Heat the frying pan and grease it with a teaspoon of oil. Fry the flatbread on both sides until golden brown, covered. One flatbread will take about 2-3 minutes. Prepare the other flatbreads in the same way, greasing the pan with a teaspoon of oil before each one.

Recipes for cheese cakes in 5 minutes: making with milk, kefir
If you want to pamper your household with something delicious, but you simply don’t have time for complex production, then bake cheese cakes. Kneading the dough will take about 5-10 minutes, but the bread can be served with tea, as a first course, as a main course instead of bread, or just as a small snack.
To knead the dough, you need a small set of ingredients. If desired, additional ingredients can be freely added there: greens, ham, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. There are different recipes for cheese cakes in 5 minutes:
- on a kefir base;
- with fresh or sour milk.
How to prepare cheese flatbreads in 5 minutes (recipe with photo)?
Kefir base for cheese cakes
Let's start with the most common recipe for flatbreads without inside.
For the test you will need:
- 2 tbsp. flour;
- 1 tbsp. grated hard cheese;
- 1 tbsp. kefir;
- a pinch of salt;
- 0.5 tsp. sugar and the same amount of baking soda;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Manufacturing:
- For the best dissolution of seasonings, first dilute salt, sugar and soda in kefir. Pay attention, the soda will react with the fermented milk product, the drink will foam and “fizz”.
- Add shavings of hard cheese. There is no special advice on the variety; it could be any cheese product available in your refrigerator, including a mixture of different types of cheeses (for a piquant taste).
Fluffy milk-cheese flatbreads
Cheese cakes can be prepared without kefir, say, cheese cakes with milk. Here you can use the freshest milk product or the sour one you have. The amount of lactic acid determines what other ingredients should be added to the dough so that the cakes come out fluffy and not rubbery.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. flour;
- a pinch of salt;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil (in dough);
- 0.5 tbsp. fresh milk;
- 0.5 tbsp. finely grated hard cheese.
Manufacturing:
- Knead the dough as in the previous recipe.
- Roll out the flat cakes.
- But you can fry it using 2 methods. 1st: in a hot frying pan. Note that additional fat for frying may not be used. But if you don’t want your milk cheese cakes to come out very dry, you can lightly grease the pan with butter or choose a very rich cream cheese.
2nd production method: in the oven. The dough pieces are laid out on a baking sheet and baked in the oven for no more than a quarter of an hour. Before baking, you can sprinkle cheese crumbles on top to give the finished flatbreads an appropriately crispy crust.
Innards and flavorings
As we already mentioned, cheese cakes without kefir can be prepared with the inside. This will give extra taste to the dish. More popular supplements:
- finely chopped or grated ham;
- smoked sausages;
- cottage cheese, feta cheese, suluguni, cheese mixtures;
- greens (including onions);
- finely chopped or grated boiled eggs;
- stewed sauerkraut;
- chopped, lightly sautéed mushrooms;
- grated, sautéed carrots;
- potato insides;
- fried meat, liver, liver mince.
In general, all those food leftovers that you have lying around in your refrigerator. Roll out portions of dough prepared according to one of the proposed recipes into cakes no more than 10 mm wide. In the center of the cake we place a portion of the insides, we don’t regret it. We fasten the ends of the dough (like pies) so that the inside does not leak out. Again we lightly pass the rolling pin to give the semi-finished product a flatness. Fry or bake as suggested earlier.
Some tips on the inside
- Try to chop the inside ingredients very finely so that the edges do not break through the dough when rolling out the filled flatbreads.
- It is better that the inside is dry, but not crumbly. Otherwise, crumbs may fall out when biting.
- It’s better to “degrease” the insides that have been fried on a cardboard towel - what are the extra calories for?!
- If you use ham that has already been sliced, then you can not chop it, but use it as a sheet layer.

It’s very simple to prepare cheese flatbreads without heavy food and time costs. There would be a desire. By the way, if you don’t have a lot of hard cheese at all, in other words, you don’t have even half a glass, use cheese crumbs as a topping. The dough, one way or another, will be saturated with the cheese smell and acquire a crispy cheese crust. But it’s better to bake such cakes.
