- Macaroni and cheese casserole begins by placing a saucepan or thick-bottomed frying pan with butter on the stove to heat up, and also placing a pan of salted water to boil. While the butter is melting, finely chop 3 cloves of garlic, pour into a frying pan and lightly fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Also, following the garlic, pour 50 grams of flour into the frying pan, mix and fry so that no lumps are created. There is no need to fry for a long time, we need light flour for the cheese sauce, so 1-2 minutes will be enough.
- After we have fried the flour, we begin to evenly pour 1 liter of milk into our mixture. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. We also add salt, add a pinch of nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of mild reddish pepper to make the pasta special in the oven. Then mix everything thoroughly and cook for 15 minutes until our sauce thickens.
- While the sauce is preparing, boil the pasta. You can use pasta of any shape: shells, tubes, feathers, etc. Pour 500 grams of pasta into a pan of boiling water and cook until al dente (two minutes less than the indicated time on the package). Don't forget to stir from time to time.
- Let's get back to the sauce. After it has thickened, remove it from the heat, add 200 grams of Cheddar cheese and 120 grams of Parmesan cheese and mix everything thoroughly until smooth. We will leave 50 grams of Cheddar and 30 grams of Parmesan to sprinkle the dish with them at the end (in fact, you can use any other hard cheeses at your discretion). The sauce should be viscous.
- Drain the water from the cooked pasta and transfer it to our cheese sauce, where we mix everything again.
- The recipe for macaroni and cheese in the oven is almost ready. All that remains is to bake the ready-made macaroni and cheese in the oven. To do this, we will need a baking dish, generously greased with butter, into which we will transfer all the contents of the pan. It seems like a completely simple dish of macaroni and cheese, but how much ability to experiment? You can choose different types of cheese, pasta itself, different shapes, seasonings, herbs, yes, anything, it all depends on your imagination and taste.
And for making a traditional dish you will need:
- Pasta of any kind to your own taste (it’s better not to use spaghetti for this dish or break it into small pieces beforehand) – 120 gr.
- Full fat milk – 200 ml.
- Water – 250 ml.
- Mozzarella – 70 gr.
- Dutch cheese – 200 gr.
Manufacturing process step by step.
Pour milk and water into a frying pan with a thick bottom, heat, but do not boil.

Grate the Dutch cheese coarsely, add it to the frying pan with the rest of the ingredients, stir, and wait until it melts.

- For decoration, a couple of sprigs of parsley.
Bake pasta with tomatoes and cheese in the oven:
— Heat the oil in a frying pan, add chopped bacon into it and fry for almost 5 minutes no more. By the way, instead of bacon, you can use minced meat, sausage or smoked meat.
— Add chopped onion to the bacon, pepper and salt to taste.
— Pass the garlic cloves through a meat grinder or garlic grinder and add them to your ingredients.

While 400 g of pasta is cooking, finely chop the onion and fry it in a small amount of olive oil over very low heat. The onion should simmer until it becomes tender and transparent.
Cut 300 g of sausage into rings and add to the onion. Fry and don’t be surprised that the oil turns orange, because chorizo is cooked with the addition of hot reddish pepper. Boil 200 g of pasta, and while it is cooking, fry 600 g of minced pork and beef in a small amount of olive oil. Add chopped onion and 2 cloves of garlic to the meat, also grated carrots. Simmer and fry the minced meat with vegetables until the carrots are soft, then add 3 diced tomatoes and fry for another 2 minutes. Salt and pepper the minced meat, grate 150 g of cheese and take out the clay mold.
Grease the dish with olive oil, place a layer of pasta on the bottom tightly together, and sprinkle half of the grated cheese on top. The next layer will be minced meat with vegetables, which must be greased with a little sour cream or mayonnaise on top - for juiciness. Later, make another layer of pasta and sprinkle it with cheese again. Place the chicken and pasta in a buttered pan, and decorate the top of the casserole with broccoli florets and halved cherry tomatoes. For this you will need 200 g of tomatoes and cabbage. Sprinkle all this splendor with 100 g of grated cheese and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

Chop 400 g of champignons and fry them in a small amount of oil until the water has completely evaporated - they should be slightly browned. Add a finely chopped onion and 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic to the mushrooms and after a minute remove from the heat.
Boil 350 pasta, and cut 400 g of chicken fillet into pieces and fry until golden brown.
Now you can make the sauce. Melt 3 tbsp in a saucepan or small frying pan. l. butter, mix it with 2 tbsp. l. flour and fry until yellow. Pour in 2 cups of cream in a thin stream and continue stirring until the sauce thickens and has a smooth texture. If lumps form, beat the sauce with a blender.
Mix the finished pasta with chicken, mushrooms and sauce, then stir everything well. Place the delicious mixture into the pan and bake for about 20–30 minutes. 10 minutes before readiness, remove the pan and sprinkle 100 g of grated hard cheese on top and put it back in the oven.
Be sure to serve the dish with a sprig of herbs and a good mood!
Three cheeses
If you cook pasta with several types of cheese, it will be especially tasty and unique. “Bantiki” pasta is suitable for this dish, approximately 250 g. Set it to cook and make cheese.
For such a dish, all other products are unnecessary, since they will interrupt the piquancy of the 3 types of cheese. But onions fried in olive oil with the addition of sun-dried tomatoes won’t hurt at all, because it’s a classic!
You will need 1 onion and 2 tbsp. l. finely chopped tomatoes. At the end of frying, add 1 tsp to the onion. Provencal herbs for a pleasant smell.
Grate 50 g each of cheddar, edam and mozzarella, but buy hard mozzarella made for pizza.
Mix the pasta with the onions, tomatoes and most of the cheese, and later place it in a greased pan. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Sun-dried tomatoes in the oven get a special smell that suits these types of cheese specifically. At least, this is what understanding gourmets think.
